Hey Carl I am loving your vids and your imagination and skills on lure making. I am now really considering changing over from a tandem oasis to the lynx tandem? For the weight and manoeuvrability. I also love the spots for bass you fish.
Hi Mark, sorry for the delay but I've been OS. Glad you like the vids and lures, it's great working things out and then getting a fish or two on them. So you have a tandem Oasis (two seater) now? The Lynx is only a single seat kayak but if that's what you are after, then they are fantastic. There are limitations compared to other kayaks in the hobie fleet ie Outback as there is no in-hull storage but with careful management, you can work around this. I plan to use the Lynx in the upcoming Hobie Bream tournament at Camden Haven in a few months, so it is still a viable option for tournaments as well.
Great to see some Aussie Lynx content on the Tube. I have just about every accessory known to man fitted to mine lol. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Must be pretty satisfying getting fish on home made lures, pretty cool. Cheers.
Thanks Duane, I've just subscribed to your channel so will check out the videos later. There certainly is a lot of options but I'm trying to keep it fairly basic to show people you don't need all the bells and whistles (they are nice though!) to get on the water and have a great time catching some decent fish. And yes, it certainly is satisfying catching them on my own lures. Keeps me going back for more.
Hi Luke, I haven't used a H-crate before so couldn't give any comparable feedback. I do like the H-rails on them though. The YakAttack crates are very well built though and so far, they have exceeded my expectations. Give me a couple of months though to put it through its paces properly.
That Outback lure is hilarious!
It confirms my long held theory on lure design and fishing succes! 😜
It was pretty much a no-brainer really, bass will hit just about anything. : )
Great vid mate
Cheers Johnathon, appreciate the feedback.

Hahaha! Love the custom lures mate! :)
LOL Thanks Peachy. I'll have to do a Lynx lure now...
Carl Your are the bass whisperer!!! love the lures. I've been trying lake parra unsuccessfully for bass but I will keep trying.
LOL. Thanks, Fish04Fun. I've never fished Lake Parra so unfortunately can't give you any advice on the area.
@Carl Dubois all good your videos are enough inspiration 🙌
How do you rate the yak attack crate compared to H-crate?

@@CarlDubois Are you doing Marlo in February?
@@lukehynes7945 no, not Marlo. I'll be doing Bemm though.
No way?! Love that Outback lure 😂
Legend has it the Bass Block took decades to perfect 🙌
LOL Thanks Jacko. That Bass Block took ages!
