Picked up a used alternator from another prelude to replace the current broken Chinese alternator in the car, and then I hit VTEC for the first time...
Thanks 4 the vid!!! I have a 95 prelude and recently had issues with powersteering pump as well as Altenator belt & powersteering belt breaking at the same time. Replaced belts and powersteering pump. Less than a month the used powersteering pump I put on went bad. And altenator belt broke again. I had been loosing power for a while and same thing with my speedometer not working. I'm going to get my altenator rebuilt and just buy a new powersteering pump this go round and see if this corrects my issues. Really needed this vid because I'ma do the shit myself this time. LOL Nothing like these Ludes! I've owned 2 and drove nothing but preludes since 1998! ❤
My sister had one of those back in the day, never changed the oil and never put air in the tires and it still lasted a long time. Dont think she had a H series though. I always thought the dash of those where cool.
that particular car has obviously been mistreated but they're very, very good machines. mine has 500,000 k's and still drives smooth. original everything bar fuel pump.
It is not coercion. I think you mean corrosion. :-) Is there a separate belt adjusting set up for the alternator as there is one for the power steering pump, or is it the one bolt that is the at the bottom that holds the alternator? Thank you for doing this.

Try replacing your speedo sensor, mine wasnt working and my rev limitor was doing thr same thing until i replaced it
