I think doing a flavoured pectin, made with some fruit juice or lemonade (that has as little colour to it as possible) and maybe adding a bit of sugar to it as well. I made one of these cakes for my birthday last week. It turned out to be mostly jelly and chocolate and not much cake. Use quality chocolate, don't be cheap. It took me about 2 1/2 days to make. I used 2 cake mixes, 2 packets of milk chocolate, half a packet of white chocolate, half a cup of cream and 1 1/2 litres of jelly. The jelly will be more of a gummy texture. If you aren't a fan of gummy jelly you won't like the cake very much. I bought aeroplane jelly and just added some more gelatine, worked well. I layered the jelly from deep blue to a light aqua so I had to do the separate layers about every 5-10 minutes which was time consuming, but worth it. It doesn't last long in the fridge without the mould. The jelly struggles to hold together because of gravity, it will start to split after several hours, so best to take it out and finish it off just before you serve it.
@@kaozzzzzzzzz1 I used Cadbury because that's the best I could get where I live. I find store brand cooking chocolate to have a weird aftertaste. I bought 3 different blue flavoured jellys so I just had to worry about adding more gelatine.

I wish I liked gelatinous things. They’re so gorgeous, I can almost understand why people used to encase every food in jello.
Mocha same. I hate jello, I find it creepy, but it looks so pretty when it’s not moving.
Same, specially plain gelatin, it makes deserts look so pretty and fancy but it tastes and smells disgusting
It always reminds me of that episode of The Office
It looks incredible but it’s sad to hear that the gelatine ruined the taste :( I fully believe something should look incredible but also taste incredible. My cook brain is already thinking of ways to remake this recipe but try to make it more tasty 😂😂
Do tell the ideas?
Maybe raspberry jello?? Or add some mint flavoring to the gelatin? Or pineapple and coconut for a tropical taste
I think adding lime flavor to the gelatin would make it taste better.
Me following the tutorial happily
Her:okay now we carve the cake
Me: okay mam (notices there’s extra cake and eats it)
Her :make sure to save the scrap pieces of cake
Me : uhhh...crap
Did this actually happen?
DJ erm...kinda
I was laughing so hard at this comment, my dog thought I was crying.
lol
I'll never look to a little mermaid theme cake the same way again, Emmy.
Emmy: "I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!" (in the angriest voice I've ever heard)
Lol
I do the same thing. Not gonna lie. 😂 Its like I'm trying to not yell, but it comes out so angry and excited at the same time.
my nick name also happens to be Emmy. Rofl
I read this while watching that part
When was that part ?
The jelly struggles to hold together because of gravity, it will start to split after several hours, so best to take it out and finish it off just before you serve it.
what brands are considered good quality for baking...and can you flavor the jelly, so it won't be bland.
@@kaozzzzzzzzz1 I used Cadbury because that's the best I could get where I live. I find store brand cooking chocolate to have a weird aftertaste. I bought 3 different blue flavoured jellys so I just had to worry about adding more gelatine.
@R. If you can source it at the moment, definitely. Cadbury baking chocolate isn't too bad to work with, just don't use the regular stuff.
R. If it worked for him then your wrong. Stfu nobody cares
@R. Dr Oetker has some good baking chocolates, I actually eat the 85% bars often since they're quite dark but not bitter, works well in cakes and cookies
My very first thought when seeing the image of this cake was that this is the Bob Ross of cakes
Yess totally
It’s kinda scary how realistic it is i kinda felt bad when u cut into it😭😭😭😭 it’s beautiful thoughhhh💖
This is only the second video of her that I watch and I can already tell she's the most honest food-related channel I've seen (coughtastycough). But jokes aside, I love how she can straight up say "oh well it's not good" to the product she just made, especially when it's a tutorial *and* she's a professional chef. Take notes, everyone.
Lol “take notes”
Oh you ain't seen nothing yet. I feel like sometimes her whole thesis for a video is "this sounds like it will taste terrible, I want to try it!" or "I would never have thought to eat that, let's try it!"
Who's a professional chef?

I KNEW IT WAS ALL CAKE!
Anyone else hear "ass-tape" every time instead of acetate? Or just me.... 🤔😳
Her extensive vocabulary is almost as fascinating as her cooking expertise.
I could listen and watch her all day long.
Such an amazingly beautiful cake
I literally see you everywhere 😂
bruh dude ur everywhere whut
You are everywhere- "I stan Ray Mak." -Me, 2020
Hello Ray! I’m now used to seeing you in every comment section 😂
AGAAIN
This would be a great way to do a cake of the two volcanoes from the “I lava you” video!
This needs more likes!
The lava would be the caramel or strawberry jam, or whatever you might call
I gotta say that this is one of the most satisfying videos ever! Her voice is so calm, the way she painted the whole mountains and the water... just wow!

“We need to extricate the cake out of its prison.” Love this!
You're awesome talking about Bob Ross! You have an amazing personality and content. I subscribed! Love your food content and baking. We are cut from very similar cloth 🤙cake turned out awesome! Kudos!
I don't remember another artist before Bob Ross's show, so I looked it up: Bill Alexander "The Magic of Oil Painting" and he did teach Bob Ross. From Wikipedia: "Ross also dedicated the first episode of the second season to Alexander, explaining that "I feel as though he gave me a precious gift, and I'd like to share that gift with you [the viewer]". "
He passed away in 1997.
*Ok this cake looks so real tho are you sure it’s edible*
**eats dirt**
@@ssip7339 Well, Emmy _has_ made the Haitian Dirt Cookies before.
@@101Volts I forgot about that, but yeah 😂
Took some melatonin and fell asleep to these, really calming and wonderful experience thanks Emmy, you’re a queen!
Fun fact: I saw Alexander doing a painting session at Yellowstone back in 1982. He was shaped like the penguin
I’ve been binge watching The Handmaids Tale today so need something cheerful before I sleep and sure enough Emmy is here to help 🥰
yo the wave patterns really takes... the... cake...
This woman makes me feel like I could try anything and actually be good at it.
"The Magic of Oil Painting" - with William Alexander!!! My Dad and I also watched him and Bob Ross, back in the day! 👨🎨🎨
OMG that looks so pretty! I'd want to admire it for a few minutes before I ate it.
Wow!!!
Hope everyone had a great day and I pray we all have a great weekend filled with delicious food 😋
wait a minute, someone called Nino's home did a video like this.
It's almost like they watched the same popular video.
