Back in the late 90’s was the first time I rode in a 757. I remember being pushed back in my seat from the massive thrust these engines have. Loved this plane ever since. It is a shame that Boeing discontinued making these planes.
I got to experience this back in February 2020 winter storm here on the East Coast... My original nonstop United flight from EWR-LAS 737-800 was canceled and we were rebooked on the 757-200 via Denver. Did a static run for a minute and boom, we were off. I had the very last seat at the back. And I tell you, it felt every bit of a rocket. They got us up and out of NY and over the storm within 10 minutes to a cruise of 370
If a 737 normally handles the segment, I would imagine the takeoff performance settings for the 75 would definitely lend themselves for a climb out like this. Very cool clip!
Of all the planes I’ve flown professionally, the B757 is my favorite! It is not unusual to peg the VSI at 5000 feet per minute! Boeing did a fantastic job designing that jet!! Thanks for showcasing this incredible machine in your REEL. 🎉❤
It was designed early enough in the days of twin engine Jets that they said "we should probably overdo overdoing it when it comes to the engines." And that's freaking awesome.
Please try to capture the aircraft and a fixed object on the ground to show the rate of climb. You're excited about the takeoff because you're able to see it (the 757) relative to other aircraft and then have actual numbers for confirmation. We (the viewers) see a 757 taking off quite normally with nothing too exciting. Thank you and give it some consideration.
It looks like some window shades are closed. They should be open during takeoff/landing in case of an emergency. We follow that protocol in Canada at Flair.
I love flying on those things. They are absolute rockets.
You are so lucky. We rarely see them in Australia except for the odd converted freighter.
Just flew a 757 from ORD to ATL. Once it reached 39,000’, it was clocking in at 617 mph.
Speed depends on winds.

I fly a 757 for Delta, you guys are awesome. Much respect
Delta is the best in the industry. The staff is so nice and the fights are nice .
@@travisdacus could be better tho. Cabins are very poor in a lot of planes and equipment is old
Those old greyhounds can really get up quickly
😏😏😉😉

I was a FA and the 757 was the best plane to work. Easy and the bathrooms were in the middle of the fuselage so it made working in coach was easy.
The last time that I flew on a B757 was back in 1986, London to Helsinki, quite a rapid climb out of Heathrow as I remember !
The Delta Embraer landing: NYAAAAAWWW
The Delta 757s are actually nice. Wish Boeing would have done a NEO version.
He is speaking a language of Airbus
I wish Boeing did a lot of things (and also didn't do a bunch more) Loved watching AAL's Greyhounds in and out of DFW
boeing neo nice
Maybe you mean a B757MAX.
757s are amazing birds!
Must be really cool 😎 to take off so fast! Would love to fly on 757👍👍👍
Love this speedy safe plane with larger engines 757-200 🚀!
Beautiful 757 😊
A am tower ATCO and every evening there is DHL 757 departure and the climb is just amazing compared to other traffic.
The 757 is such a beautiful jet !!!❤💞💕 I wonder if Boeing regrets stopping production.😢
757takes you close to heaven in minutes quickiest plane ✈ other than the late great concord
Only a couple of days ago I got the amazing opportunity to fly out of SMX in a Delta 757-200 and I can confirm the rocket take off is real.

Was on 50% global travel for 10 years. If I saw a 757 or MD 11 I was so relieved…”oh yea this will be a nice ride”.
You know the pilots are having fun
Awesome plane. Maybe zoom out a little when it’s taking off. I can see everyone’s face in business class
It doesn't matter how fast they are.... Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing... !!!
Long live the Rocket 🚀 ship! ❤🚀757✏️🔥
Love how the random embraer flies in for a second like "guys I exist too 🥺"
757 Rocket 🚀 Ship 👍
The thin pencil is airborne and it's called an unrestricted climb.
I’ll love the 752/753 forever
Absolute rocket

Ahhhhh the gorgeous Boeing "Saturn V 7" ❤❤❤❤❤
Love flying it! By far my all time fav.
Looking very nice.
I'd picture this at the Olimpics 🐼

Beautiful my favorite plane
Love the 757
I believe this Boeing 757 is called "Flying pencil" due to the length.
you should see the fedex departures at KIND
Your commentary makes me feel like I'm watching UEFA or Champion's league lol
Only heading to Vegas
Love your channel❤❤❤
That came here in San Juan PR.
Ah yes, the flying pencil has done it again
❤ Love it!! Nice job 👏🏾 👍🏾
Rocket 🚀 Launch #Awesome
Can’t get enough of the 757

Bomber GT of the skies
Shes a rocket boys!!!

Wait so the passengers are gonna feel more butterflies in their stomach 🥴
The Conqueror rise again!

Not a rocket! A very fast plane, yes!
Ah yes a flying pencil
Rocket Smooth take off
🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
Is there something about the 757 that makes it more likely to do this?
overpowered engines and high climb rate i believe
It’s the sports car of airliners. Thrust to weight ratio is very high.
It's an "overpowered" plane and pilots love it for that reason. Too bad Boeing phased them out for the incredibly inferior 737 Max.
@@marzoval9551 i hope they will make a comeback soon🤞
@@marzoval9551 I’m guessing the 737 is underpowered in comparison. I’m just wondering why they would do that?
Rocket indeed
❤
Was that a race between 2 Delta's? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Rocket take off
beauty
uriah’s if y’all were boeing engineers???
Rocket
RB211 engined 757 sounds better and more powerful 💪

I think 2500 or 3000 ft per minute
3000+ Ft per min
My favorite plane to fly on
Do you guys have interest in girls?
"We stay with the 7-5." 🫡
