    You are such a blessing. I am not perfect with all the concepts but the way you put things in perspective is so nice. Thank you! I need to learn to apply the basics to harder concepts but this makes it easier :) Thanks again!

      +Mel tansz Thanks very much! Yes a good place to apply the content is on exam papers. Take a look at my vids on exam technique. I cover most of the exam boards. I also have a daily multi choice questions for AS Chem on twitter follow @allerytutors to get them. Good luck with your course!

    Thankyou so much for uploading all these vidoes! It has helped me so much with my year 12 and year 13 revision, the way you explain things is great and you make it much more easy to learn, keep up the great work!

    Very Useful video. But next time, please put the camera closer to the whiteboard and on the same level so that we can see easier. I can barely see what’s on the whiteboard in this video. Your other videos are much clearer.

    propanone also has oxygen so why doesnt it have hydrogen bonding?

    I can't see what you did on the benzene molecule when talking about solubility. Please clear it up for me

    Do you only get dipole dipole forces when you have a carbonyl group

    thank you so much for uploading the new ocr specs!! are you going to do modules 1-4 soon?

      No problem. Just trying to make it easier to use for people. All the modules are available for OCR A now - just click on this link ruclips.net/channel/UCPtWS4fCi25YHw5SPGdPz0gplaylists?view=50&sort=dd&shelf_id=3

    I cannot find the solubility,boiling points and reactivity on the OCR A New spec for carbonyl compounds. Would i still need to learn this?

      wouldn't hurt :)

    Hey, just a quick tip, don’t wear dark colours when doing these videos as it messes with the colour balance and washes out the writing sometimes

    little off-topic question here:
    What would you name a methanal molecule but one of the hydrogen atoms are substituted by a nitrile group. The problem is that both groups (as far as im aware) only have suffixes and cant have numbers associated with them

    • @AlleryChemistry
      @AlleryChemistry  8 лет назад

      Yes you would call the alcohol part 'hydroxy' and just end with nitrile in the standard way.
