    why is the aldehyde names as 'oxo' in 6:13
    shouldn't it be formyl?

      Ester's priority over aldehyde is more that is why we'll use aldehyde in prefix form (oxo) and ester in suffix form (-oate)

    How carbaldehyde came into existence in IupAc. Please illustrate it a bit more

      I'm sorry. I don't know of the many reasons carbaldehyde came into existence. However, just focus on naming them via IUPAC for now.
