I have probably shared this before but several years ago after watching a cleaning video I was reading some of the comments. One woman talked about being homeless and longing to have a home to clean. That brought me up short. Another thing that has helped me change my attitude is, after a spell of my chronic illness acting up, and being sidelined for days, I am grateful to be able to do my household chores. It is wonderful to be able to be productive and contribute to our family’s life. I recognize that we are not to value ourselves because of our productivity. But it is difficult to feel like a burden to the people around you. I might be in that position someday and hope that God will give me the grace to handle that well. Meanwhile I find satisfaction and contentment caring for my little world. Thank you, Jennifer.
Gratitude is an amazing door. ♥
I had a similar experience. I lost most functional use of my arms for several months. As a wife and mother to 5, I did not realize just how much of a privilege it is to care for them, and to be able to do my daily chores and tasks around the house. It was immensely enlightening.
This has happened to me today. Early stages of pregnancy have left me so tired and today I felt better and I've been able to do some household tasks. Feels so good 😊
We've recently added a ring system. I didn't realize how rushed, hunched over, and stressed I look until I rewatched the recorded clips from the doorbell. Wow, what an eye opener! I am about to be 55 years old and don't want to carry myself in this manner another year.
Watching a recording of yourself can be so eye-opening! I learned this with RUclips!
Rage cleaning has been really rare for me. I am far more likely to not clean at all when I am annoyed/angry about cleaning. "Ha! I'll show you! Look what happens when what I do doesn't get done!" Sometimes it works but usually it just gives me time to calm down. The children have left and created an empty nest and I am retired, so I now clean whenever I feel like it and it is surprisingly regularly. Up to my mother's standard? No one could (or should) meet that. But my standard is high enough for me. "Clean enough to be healthy, messy enough to be happy." Your advice is wonderful, as always. Your content always leaves me calm and fulfilled.
Jennifer, I appreciate all of your videos, but those that remind us to take the high road, be magnanimous, remain unbothered, stand tall, “hack the system” for our good, etc. are my absolute favorite.
I actually have a funny story about a video that you did last year about being magnanimous. I was working with a very unhappy, judgmental bully. I was praying through it (everyday, all day). I actually considered quitting. And then you posted your video….I would listen to it on my way to work (everyday for about two months 😂). Can you believe, this person (who was over me) quit! And guess what? I now have her position. Your five tips that day were perfect, and might I add, Godly.
Thank you on behalf of your subscribers for the brilliant reminders. Have a beautiful day!
That is a great story. Thanks for sharing.
What?? Yes!! I love to hear these testimonials. So glad it worked out for you and you stayed the course!
Wow, that is amazing 🌹💞
Awesome!
Okay, now I have to watch that video! That is so encouraging!
I always have Ma Ingalls I my mind when I think of this sort of thing. Laura always related how calm and resigned Ma was, even during their darkest hours. She did not enjoy all of the tasks that she had to do, but, like your stoics, she accepted them. What an inspiration!
"Fake it till you make it." Pretend to be calm and serene and the brain won't know the difference! It works!
I'll be 33 next month and I still get nervous when my mom is rage cleaning 😂 I'm calm when I clean if others stay out of my way. It can be relaxing to have the time to myself, resetting my environment ❤
A couple of months ago I broke bones in my spine. I used to rage clean quite often before then. Since having a broken back with 4 kids to take care of, including an infant and feeling so helpless, I have been really appreciating every little task that I am now physically able to do. I still can't do everything, but the injury really gave me a new perspective and appreciation for everyday mundane tasks. I love this, thank you for the calm you always bring to everyday chores. ❤
I think rage cleaning is an age thing. Children produce anxiety in us, as do career ambition, lack of money, unhappy relationships etc….
These days, in my sixties, I am as stoic as a Greek philosopher. My grandchildren entirely disrupt my house and I am so grateful!
I do get angry when the house is a mess.i work full time and find it exhausting to keep the house clean and organized. I get so resentful, when I am doing most of the work or at least 90% of it. We have a pup, destructive and wrecks so many things,a pup which I did not want, not at this time anyway
Carol! I felt exactly this way when we got our current pet. The anger combined with the guilt over feeling angry was making me crazy! It wasn't my puppy but it became 95% my responsibility. I did find my own way out of it, but it was so hard!
This is a common problem! The key for me is to work through those feelings and communicate with your family about needing help...
I can relate well. I have pets and they make messes but I can give them a pass because they don’t know better. But when a spouse refuses to help with housework it’s hard to let go of the resentment.
@@marep5597 if the spouse isn’t keeping up his end of the marriage, you need to stop doing things for him
Carol, that is tough! We have a dog, and as a pup he loved chewing through things. We decided to take him to puppy training school, and that helped so much! Also, know that as they grow older, they will calm down significantly! If they are walked and exercised regularly, that also helps, as they will then rest much easier for the rest of the day. As dogs, or any pets for that matter, they only know us, and we decide everything for them. When I look at it that way, it gives me a sense of kindness and gratitude of little fellow in my life.
Wow, this one is for me! rage cleaning is a toxic trait of mine.
I hope you found some good tips in this video. ♥
I used to always get angry when I cleaned. My kids would say, Mom's cleaning; stay out of her way! I find that when I keep up with regular cleaning that I'm not as overwhelmed and frustrated. The cleaning is easier too, but life happens and the house gets messy. I try to keep a positive attitude. Thanks for the encouragement!
You got me! This morning I was trying to get a bath before work, but there was a carpet of laundry in the floor, filth and toys in the tub, and the plug was missing. I rage cleaned that sucker! My kids are perfectly capable of caring for their things, but I “can’t expect what you don’t inspect.”
Rage cleaning is real! I remind myself that I get to clean/tidy/arrange my home as opposed to I have to. In my mind, I am the Queen and it is mine to do as I wish (short of setting it on fire)!
That's a great attitude!
I have experienced raging as I am cleaning, especially if I feel that no one else appreciates me. Thank you for explaining that we can’t control others but we can appreciate ourselves. As you said this, I also thought that we can appreciate our own work and bask in the restored order and cleanliness. I often like to walk back through the rooms I have cleaned to appreciate my work. You always help me to see another aspect of the drudgery of home keeping and offer an optimistic and graceful viewpoint on my life. ❤❤
I have never rage cleaned. Cleaning and organizing is therapy for me. With my chronic illness I have a system of my deep cleaning a room one day a week so I don't over do my myself and I have daily tasks so the home is clean. One thing that has helped me in cleaning, is to practice mindfulness. When you are doing a task, pay attention to it to make it more enjoyable, like when doing the dishes, enjoy the color of your dishes and the pattern, enjoy the smell of the detergent to wash them, enjoy the feel of the material your dishes are made of. When folding laundry same thing, enjoy the smell of detergent and fabric softener, enjoy the feel of the different fabrics, look at the colors and designs. Those kind of things help us to slow down and to be more mindful. This makes a huge difference not just with cleaning and homemaking but with life as well. ❤
I do some of my best cleaning when I am angry about something. Plus it’s a win - win outcome because I feel much calmer when my house is clean and tidy! 😂
I have been know to rage clean but it looks different for me. Cleaning and organizing bring me peace and if I am angry, overwhelmed, or frustrated I start to clean so I feel a sense of control and harmony. I'm not angry because I have to clean it is actually therapeutic for me. I do however have to work on getting on a cleaning schedule because sometimes I clean too much in one day and then I am too tired to function.
My husband can always tell when I'm anxious or upset because I clean.. not rage cleaning, but doing it therapeutically ❤ xoxo Stacie
@615venus Diane in Denmark is another wonderful RUclipsr and a routines coach. She is delightful to watch and makes house chores simple.
Jennifer, you're so cute, even when you rage. 😅
I had a good chuckle at that part in the video😊
Thank you 😅
I also think, we can use tools to make out life easier. I bought a cordless vacuumer and it is a game changer!😊
I am a follower of stoicism and it has greatly improved my life! ❤
Ryan's books are wonderful!
This has helped me as well. In fact, stoicism has helped me more than anything.
How and why?.
Rage is best used for rearranging furniture😉
I’m pregnant with my third daughter right now and my oh my, has it been rough. I had the most horrible morning sickness, I would literally have a towel in my mouth so I wouldn’t swallow my saliva. Gross, I know. But I just felt like I couldn’t even get up to wash dishes or throw a load in the washer, much less fold and put away. And then, second trimester came around and I started feeling better, and I felt so grateful to be able to get up and clean my home and bathe my girls and have them smell so nice and clean. And then my belly started growing, and I have been rage cleaning 😂 I have been watching your videos for years now, but I had forgotten all about the wisdom you have shared, and I thought I had taken in. Thank you for this refreshing reminder.
I know the Lord doesn’t want me to serve my family in an angry way. We are an example of our Lord Jesus Christ in the way we serve our families. It’s a service to Him. I need to always go to the Word and to place Him first. He created the Sabbath for a reason. He wants us to rest too.
Pray for me y’all. God decided to entrust me with another daughter, and I have no idea how I’m supposed to do it all. God bless every single one of you and thank you Jennifer for sharing your wisdom with all of us ❤
I can relate! I have 3 girls and a 5month old boy. Something that has helped me in times of overwhelm is instead of “I HAVE to clean/cook/organize etc” it’s “ I GET to clean/cook/organize etc”
What an incredible gift of getting to raise children, especially today with all the nonsense noise.
God bless your sweet family!
When struggling to get going on a household task - which is most of the time - I try to tell myself that I deserve a clean home - even if no one else says anything - I also tell myself that future me will be glad I did that task - and then most importantly - I remember to thank past me for doing the task - eg take a moment and admire that clean and shiny shower!
The intro to this video made me chuckle. When I clean I will often call it "rage cleaning" but it might be more appropriate to call it "speed cleaning" due to the nature of it. We have had 3 kids in 2.5 years so I will speed clean to get things done. Our oldest who is 13 says this version of me is the "Cleaning Gremlin" because I crawl around scrubbing the walls, baseboards, etc that might get neglected for a week or two between cleaning. While the work still must get done, my husband hired a bi-weekly housekeeper to help keep me from stooping to this level while cleaning. Haha! Luckily there's no rage associated but offloading a list of tasks I haven't finished to the housekeeper has kept the "gremlin" at bay.
Great husband
This video hits so close to home for me. I am guilty of rage cleaning to the max.
This really spoke to me. I wouldn't say I'm angry when I clean, but I move way too fast and I'm always rushing. Something I've been working on is just slowing down which helps bring me a more calm mindset too. I have found that my kids and husband also slow down when I do, which is an added bonus!
The act of cleaning isnt what makes me angry, i rather enjoy cleaning. Its when my children are destructive and make it feel like I cant get caught up.
I rage clean everyday. Mess stresses me out so much. I grew up with hoarders. Got into minimalism but then had three kids 😅 now the house is always a mess and I’m always falling behind. It’s hard. Even yesterday I did a deep clean and this morning it’s already back the way it usually is. Ugh!
I hope you can find some good tips in this video to help! ♥
After a deep clean, it is hopefully clutter to put away and the clean space is revealed,❤😊
I’m mainly tired on my one and only day off, of two jobs, and I try to do a lot throughout the week, so I can relax on that day, but often feel so overwhelmed. :(
There is so much to do with shopping, meal preps, cleaning, laundry.
So am excited to try these tips! Thank you. 👍
I'm pleased to report that I haven't raged cleaned in a long time. I found my trigger for it was typically clutter that had built up that I had put off taking care of. I would rage because I hated myself for putting it off, for letting it get this way, the fact that I couldn't do what I needed to do because all the junk was in my way Or simply the fact that I hadn't donated it yet.
I find taking Care of my basic Everyday cleaning and house maintenance tasks to be therapeutic. ❤
Always enjoy your videos
I have a journal that focuses on Stoicism. It's wonderful!
I was hired as a nanny. Now the little guy goes to pre-k. I clean the house while he's gone. Talk about a messy, lazy family! Also, the grandfather now lives with the family. He's blind, diabetic and has early onset alzheimers. I am now his caregiver since the parents work. He has fallen several times and I really struggle to get him up. The mom said she was going to give me a bonus check for all the stuff I do for them that I didn't sign up for. That was 3 weeks ago. Still waiting for that check.....
They need to bring a caregiver in; separate of your Nanny duties. 💕
You actually need to quit. Putting you in a caregiver position without pay is unsafe and irresponsible and possibly illegal. Get a lawyer if you can.
@@cecilyerker I've worked for their family since the baby was born. He is 5 now. The grandfather lives with them because his spouse died several months ago. She was his caregiver til her death. This is just how things are rn. I get paid weekly, but it's the same as before papaw moved in.
@@kimalonzo3363that's not ok. If your duties increased, so should your pay. You need to talk to them about it. Also, you should join a home health company and get paid as an home health aid. Please look into this, as that would be separate from nanny pay
Also why are you cleaning the house? You should be cleaning after him, not the entire house? That would be a cleaning company...
@@kimalonzo3363 What a difficult and painful situation! After so long with this family I imagine you've grown fond of them, especially the boy you've cared for, so not so easy to simply quit and/or to sue. (Plus I suspect the grandfather situation isn't anything the family planned for, either.) Still, you *must* take care of yourself first. Please insist on a meeting with both the mother and father to discuss either more compensation (if you are willing to take on this huge new responsibility caring for grandfather) or hiring a caregiver for grandfather. Caring for someone in his condition is even more demanding than caring for a child, in my opinion. I am sorry you're in this tough position and I wish you well.
I so relate to the bed stripping, off to a fine start, then the day kicks in and gets away from me and I get tired, fall asleep after dinenr then I'm making the bed from scratch at midnight. I continually forget Im not 31 any more. I'm not even 61 any more. Everything takes so long and takes so much out of me now.
Rage cleaning is my life. Thank you for making this video!
This is sooo good. Sooo good! It's like we are in chronic fight or flight when cleaning and our sympathetic nervous system is in overdrive. Calm movements, enjoying the process, not rushing - all things I try to do to elevate my parasympathetic nervous system. I need to keep reminding myself to do these things though. I do the slow "ballet" walking too! I sooo resonated with this video. Although I'm more of a "rush cleaner" than a "rage cleaner." Thank you!
I'm a rush cleaner too! Guests 😮😅
I loved this video! You are a beautiful soul, Jennifer. How about considering a Chic Assignment on stoicism: books, philosophers, etc… Would there be art and music that represents this concept?
Great idea!
I see all the books throughout the video and I just want a 'what is in my bookcase' video now. 🤣🤣
I have to laugh ... I just fell into a small dose of rage cleaning this afternoon (bathrooms, arg!). Thanks for this.
Thank you. I like the part about slowing down. I need to do that! I also get upset with others, I will learn to appreciate myself.
I can so relate to this! I recently changed some of my cleaning routines and it has helped me so much. I used to think that I had to start laundry on Monday morning and get it all done and clean my bathrooms. If I didn’t get everything done, I felt so discouraged. I shifted to start my laundry on Tuesday and clean bathrooms on Monday and so on. Each day I have a specific cleaning job but it is not so overwhelming now. I feel so much more peaceful. Crazy how just changing a few things can make such a big difference! Thanks for all your tips Jennifer..always helpful!!
I so enjoy your little "role playing" examples. 😂 Well done with a marked contrast between two characters! They drive your points home splendidly. 😆🙌
I needed this video. Currently struggling taking care of a teething, grouchy one year old....and trying to balance keeping the house clean AND on top of that I and my husband are sick. 😅
Haha! I definitely been there 😂 feeling exhausted with small children was my reason. Now that they are teenagers and I have more time for myself I am the queen on calm cleaning. ❤
I don't physically rage clean but do sometimes in my mind... that is what I need to work on. Thanks for the tips! Stoicism definitely helps along with gratefulness.
The no sheets scenario has happened to me so many times! I feel seen 😂
Oh my! This video hit home. Love to see you acting out the 'rage cleaning.' Glad you have an outlet for your acting bug. It made me laugh as I saw myself in the rage cleaner and it really made me think. I so enjoy your tips and suggestions.
Cleaning and resetting the house is my happy place. If I am angry about something else, I absolutely cannot clean! I will usually take some time off and go visit TJMaxx just to look around or I go weed the garden. Now that my children are on their own, if I don't want to do a particular chore--I don't do it until last. But it does help to tackle those types first. You are so funny, Jennifer! When I get in a tiff with my hubby, I try to anger clean, but I just can't do it.😅 I totally understand that perspective though.
Oh thank you for this video. Yesterday was a rage cleaning day for me, and unfortunatly I was not kind with my husband and children😢. I regret it, but I was exhausted and overwelmed. Your video was too short, it was very funny, reconforting and useful.
Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performence. When I remember that saying, I take stock, then are able to prioritize.
Just whistle while you work!
Hi ho, hi ho...
Great tips. I definitely rage cleaned until one day my stepdaughter asked what was wrong. Whaty type of example was I setting for her?
Like with many jobs when we are rushed it feels pressured and stressful. When we have time it is relaxing and therapeutic.
I love how we see your acting skills in this video ☺️
Thank you for these great tips!
Sometimes I light candles, turn on some light jazz, and make myself something delicious to drink while cooking dinner and/or cleaning the kitchen afterwards. I call it "seducing myself into cleaning." 😆
When I saw the title of this video I was ready to give it a thumbs up. ❤
This was sweet. Rage cleaning is no fun. And I do everything not to be in that situation- but doing things everyday makes a massive difference.
I laughed out loud at this title, because it reminded me of a saying from my friends’ house, “Look out - mom’s in Rampage Mode” - my friend is a super-calm person; but every so often she hits her limit with clutter 😂😂😂
Hi Jennifer! Ohhh my gosh!!!! You play the BEST crabby homemaker I have ever seen, hahaha!!! It didn't even look like you!!! And... the tips were fantastic!!! Thank you!! I rarely clean in rage mode, (probably because I rarely clean...just kidding, hahah!!) but I have definitely been there and will now employ your tips moving forward! Also, you look gorgeous!
Can't wait to see you on Saturday!
Thank you so much for all of your hard work!!
With love, Kellie
See you Saturday, Kellie! Can't wait! I like your tactic to avoid rage cleaning but not doing it altogether!
Can you share your regular cleaning routine?
Can you share household maintenance schedule as well? Cleaning ducts, ReFinishing floors, etc? I find its much easier to clean a house that is well maintained/newer.
Love this!! Thank you!!!❤
I am unfamiliar with rage cleaning because it is just “no cleaning” when I’m feeling like that. Either way, approaching tasks with peace and gratitude is the key. Another great video, Jennifer.
Lovely. I heard recently that cleaning evokes the same brain changes as meditation so that has changed how I approach my cleaning. Savouring it, instead of rushing. Great tips to slow down, move with elegance and good posture. Thank you for sharing all your tips on being elegant and enjoying life! ❤
Yup I used to rage cleaning. Because I felt overwhelmed by the choirs. But I realized it make the job harder to get done .I decided to clean my house by schedule and it's makes a difference ❤ my family are happier 😂
Amazing, when you pretended to stomp around I immediately felt anxious and had to look away, that says it all, this is serious business
Lovley video Jennifer.
This was me last night - I needed this video! Thank you!! ❤
Thank you! I love your honesty and hopefulness ❤️
This was helpful as well as entertaining, your rage cleaning was too funny! ❤
This video came at the perfect time! Thank you for this today!❤
What an incredibly important video. Thankyou❤
Wow Jennifer! You really nailed this one. Excellent video, I feel like just watching it already improved my home life. Will be following your tips, for sure. Thank you!🌹
Lovely video, Jennifer; thank you! Listening to podcast while going about my daily chores has been a game changer for me. Have a blessed day!❤
I very much appreciate this advice, there are times when I become frustrated 🙂
Hello Jennifer, Thank you for your encouragement today on a topic that resonates, unfortunately, occasionally.
Oops! This video combined with scripture is renewing my mind. Julie 🌷
Always great advice and life changing actions! Thank you Jennifer!
thank you
Rage cleaning rock bottom for me happened when I accidentally put not one, but two, disposable diapers in the washing machine and ran the full cycle. You don’t want to know!! I had twin infants and was exhausted. It was a feat to even DO a load of laundry. Ugh. I learned that moving too fast with my mind locked in frustration mode would only lead to such mistakes, multiplying the original stress.
I sure understand the RAGE cleaning. Your floors are beautiful, what are they? Always enjoy your videos, they inspire me. Thanks 💗
😂😂😂😂I was listening and i looked up to see you picking up the shoes by the fireplace in a rage. Hilarious
I found everything was a little more bearable if one room (in my case the bedroom) was in proper order. It's very hard with busy lives, work and children, but everyone needs a sanctuary.
Jennifer seeing you in the black and white video section cracks me up!😂😂 Soooo not like you even you pretending is so funny! 😂😂
I am taking some time to really single task when cleaning. I always used to have podcast on, etc, which is fine for sure, but enjoying the process without diversion is also very nice. I found out that talking to my mom while cleaning was not giving her my full attention, and it bothered her.
I feel that way, bothered as you put it, when someone on the phone is doing other things. I would rather end the call and plan to visit in person. I’m sure it has to do with temperament. But I know from experience that I am not as actively listening when trying to do something else. It’s so good you are hearing your mom’s heart on this.
She only asked what I was doing...but that spoke loud and clear. I have spent a lot of time thinking about my maternal grandmother, whi lived to 99 and 1/2. She dpoke only French...my kids spoke only English. She was so precious to them and they to her. The gift of presence was so evident from her. She did one thing at a time and sat down to listen. She spoke little and listened a lot.
Excellent video! Thanks for the tips.
Loved the video Jennifer..
❤so relatable too..especially the rage cleaning😂...trying to apply your tips...thank you❤
I'd like to offer another idea here, as a mom who now has grown boys (ages 22 and 26). It's really easy to slip into at least frustrated cleaning, if not rage cleaning, and letting it show. But we, as moms, need to remember that our kids are learning everything from us. They are also learning that "this is the normal behavior of a mother." And as they go out as young adults, even if they aren't even aware of it: we are teaching them the attitudes and temperament of a future mate that embraces anger as a way of expressing: I need help. So, as a mom who is setting an example every minute of the day (yep, it's an amazing job and they are watching) you need to model the habits and attitudes that you want your children - both daughters AND sons - to absorb and take into their lives. And I'm not being dramatic. I'm looking back and now, I'm seeing myself and my husband in my boys. Small things; big things. It's in there! My son has a very serious girlfriend and I'm very sure an engagement is coming soon. She joked that she had to teach him how to properly wash the pots and pans. I sincerely apologized: "I'm Sorry. I didn't teach him that, I'm afraid." And she said, "That's fine. I did NOT have to teach him how to be kind. You taught him that." I burst into tears. What an extraordinary compliment. I'm glad he was watching me be kind. :) What does rage cleaning teach? Let's reach outside of ourselves and give our children the gift of a better lesson.
What a beautiful comment!
I like to listen to the Bible while I'm cleaning and sermons. Preferably, John MacArthur and Steve Lawson.😊
Jennifer, thank you for sharing your excellent tips. I usually rage clean when I am frustrated with myself for not getting enough accomplished or procrastinating. Thank you for being such an inspiring role model for us all. I would like to try Blueland soon. The dishwasher tablets we have been using aren't working so well for us, even though they are natural.
Thank you, Luba! I can't imagine you rage cleaning!
@@TheDailyConnoisseur You are too kind ...
Thank you Jennifer. I am learning of the persecution of Christians under the rule of Marcus Aurelius.
I so wanted Blueland dishwasher tabs to work for me - purchased a year’s worth! But over about two months they began to leave a film inside my dishwasher and eventually on my dishes. I tried dishwasher cleaner, vineger etc. but no luck. Had to go back to regular dishwasher detergent. I really wanted them to work but unfortunately, they didn’t for me :( Love your channel Jennifer!!!
❤❤❤
Jen, luv your wavy do.
Another helpful look at how we can make the best of all we do. Thankyou.
Jennifer, I followed the link to the Stoic you recommended. I listened to two videos. I was concerned by his swearing and thought that wasn’t in line with who you are? I know we mustn’t throw the baby out with the bath water but it seemed unnecessary and detracted from his integrity and suggest yours a little too. Just be aware. I also wonder if all the daily wisdom you and we all need might better come from the scriptures you confess to be central to your life. I write not to be critical and think you do a great job and Thankyou for that.
People are influenced by you dear lady and as you become more succesful ( however that is defined), be very aware you don’t compromise your Christian heart.
Very kindest regards. Irene ( Scottish follower). Xx🌷

Or do your chores while listening to Jenn.
Do you have tips for cleaning with little people? I dont know how to be not frustrated when my sweet boys are (unintentionally) hijacking much of my work. I want to teach them how to do this stuff but theyre going to be clumsy and not understand all the elements of any chore...im not trying to raise perfectionists. But wow, it would be so nice to just get things done!
🥰
Is it still possible to get a subscription to Victoria Magazine? I'm talking about a physical copy in my mailbox.
Lol my husband when I raged and cleaned
He’d help you if he knew what was good for him
