    He is elite in the 2 MOST important things a QB needs to have, processing and accuracy

      Absolutely. Anticipation is ultimately the result of processing. I would take processing and accuracy over arm strength any day. He’s very similar to Drew Brees in that regard, although he’s quicker when he decides to run.

    Brocks been really good rolling out of the pocket when he’s getting rushed, and like Steve Young said he’s getting better at processing where to throw the ball, especially after he scrambles, and we saw a lot of that improvement this past season. I cannot wait to see how he looks, this season, it’s gonna SHUT UP lot of people👌

    I love steve but i feel like steve is a closet purdy doubter. The picture he was painting about purdy was things need to be perfect for purdy to throw and that defenses will start to "figure him out"...sorry, purdy's ability is fast feet to buy time to find that open spot to put the ball where he wants. He knows his ability. Most ppl dont know their abilities like he does. If u know ur abilities u excel in life because u leverage those abilities to get ahead. Purdy does this at a level that is a beautiful thing to watch. Lets freaking go!!!

      The NFL figures out players like Colin Kaepernick and Cam Newton, more than elite processors Like Tom Brady and Purdy,

      He is, there is a video. I can't find it now! but he was glazing Lamar in order to take his low-key shots at Purdy. Saying Lamar can win in multiple ways, can carry a team without weapons..he also used the famous put Lamar on the Niners line.Becsuse everything has to be perfect for Purdy. However ,Lamar went out sad in the playoffs. Yet again.

    I think if Purdy adds more running into the mix, that’ll push him into the elite category

    Frankly the league is lucky Brock isn’t Josh Allen size, how would you stop that?

    • @bazimyan
      @bazimyan Месяц назад +1

      If Brock was Josh Allen's size he probably wouldn't have been able to develop his special advanced traits of processing and anticipation that he currently has. The reason why Brock is such an elite level because of those specific traits is because he was forced to develop them rapidly early in life, unlike those like Allen who were physically gifted from genetics and who could get away with "extending plays" due to their strong arm, sheer athleticism and size.

      @@bazimyanwell said. Just look at Lawrence. All the Purdy doubters. Say Put Lawrence on the Niners. They win multiple SBs. Frankly I don't think he has the IQ to succeed in this offense.

    Brock has been the #1 QB in the league when factoring in all the metrics since he began starting in 2022. But if you want him to get to a completely different level, then give him a good or even great pass-blocking O-line like how Brady and Mahomes have been blessed with all rheir careers.

    Steve stated corner backs will go where Brock looks. He needs to develop the ability to look corner backs off where he is going to throw.

      @tomcrown69 Every NFL CB looks where the QB is looking. That's not a Purdy thing.
      And you don't complete 70% of your passes at the NFL level without knowing how to look off defenders.

      One of Purdy’s best traits in my opinion is his ability to manipulate defenses with his eyes

    The truth about Brock Purdy is he’s probably a top 10ish Quarterback. He’s also very lucky, he probably had about a 1 and 100 shot at being a starting QB in the NFL. Brock Purdy doesn’t have the physical gifts, he was the last pick in the draft, and he was the 4th string QB at the beginning of the season when he got his shot. The only chance Brock Purdy had at being a starting NFL QB was he needed a lot of game reps, on a good team with a good offense, and an opportunity to prove in big time games he’s capable. If he was the 3rd string or scout team QB for 3 years, he would have been done. If he would have been on a bad team when he got his shot, he would have been done. He doesn’t have the measurable’s and wasn’t drafted high enough to keep giving him a shot if he’s getting his butt kicked. Also if he got his butt kicked he wouldn’t have had the quality reps to allow him to prove he can stay in the NFL past his rookie contract. He was pretty much put in the exact situation he required. He was put on a vet lead Super Bowl caliber team with a good run game. He also had a great coach to go over film of 60 game reps every week and get all the reps with the starters during practice. Then he was able to prove himself in big games. If he didn’t get all of those quality reps with the niners he might be out of the league already.
