Whew man, as a recovering addict from a poor neighbourhood with an awful lot of violence, having been once left to die by me “mates”, this hit surprisingly hard. Honestly, could’ve just left this story at the descriptions of poverty, housing crisis, and addiction and it would’ve already been horror enough.
Another stranger with an addiction sending you all love and strength and hoping you'll send some back because my 4th rehab trip cometh soon 😅 this life is awful, we all need freedom before we end up like Marion 🫣
I've had to listen to a lot of other narrators lately because I've finished all creeps' content so coming back to a story like this really makes me realize how much better his delivery is. I'm terrified
From his community tab recently (in case you guys missed it)... "Thank you for another great year. Though I've been less active, I'm not gone. Been taking some me time which has admittedly lasted longer than it should have. But I'm still here until my dying breath."
I actually used to do this as well as repair the house. Covered 8 states here in the US. Montana, Wyoming, Colorado....etc, those giant states with some pretty serious gun nuts...never once encountered a trap. Hundreds of houses. I've found everything from a legit signed copy of "Twelfth Night", to dildos and once we found a house filled with literally everything they owned. Wedding rings, socks, tv.... anything and everything was lost to bankruptcy.ot was the saddest one as a whole. Saddest in a personal way was the private library I found once. The guy had spent decades procuring some rare books. Signed copies and original prints. Stuff from like the 13th century to 19th century. Had a lot of religious works. But when he went bankrupt he flooded the library. Most of the books were so moldy or rotted out, I cried. So many lost works.....
I'm assuming the thing about decaying corpses was this author getting a little too creative, like the traps? That really strains credulity for me. There are certainly cases where bodies are left undiscovered for extended periods, but I'd imagine those are exceptional / uncommon. Even a few a year seems like a lot. But I could be wrong, of course.
Worked with a guy in the south. Hed set up squatters in empty homes, then when they went up for sale his "squatters" do.all tye repairs and hed buy the house for way under market. Got my bro in laws family farm that way. Looks like squatters, break a window or two throw junk around yard and porch, no one is gonna check inside
I lost my personal library and everything we owned in a house fire when our foundation shifted and broke tte fas main. It then collappsed into a sinkhole from a mine that nonone knew was even under the hill. Only things i wish i could have saved were our wedding rings and photos.
@@GredelsRage I can see why the rings and photos were so important and sadly lost. You can never get them back. It’s what I tend to tell people when they get any type of safe, fireproof of course, make damn sure you put all your irreplaceable photos and deeds and birth certificates, etc., into it. And if you’ve chosen a decent safe, they will be safe. I am sorry that you lost so much, and I can relate. However I wont make the cliche of “oh, I know what you are going through” as I absolutely don’t. Hold onto the memories, they can’t take those away..
@@jackdurden466 thanks I got my family and pets out. We had a fire safe. In the basement, old fashioned built in kind. Important docs survived. But i dusplayed the books .
Man this story was 🔥 I'd love to hear more. Quite the setup for some amazing backstory/part 2/lore..... setup was spectacular, I was hanging to every word, delivery 💯, felt so real, creepy and disturbing.....descriptive in all the right places 🖤 Thank you for always being with me at work🤘🏼 appreciate all you do 🖤🖤
Hey CreepsmcPasta. I just wanted to say thank you for all the years of stories. Ever since I was 17 I’ve been listening to you. That was in 2014. It’s now 2023 and I’m 26 years old. You’ve been helping me sleep for 9 years. Thank you. Hope you are doing well.
Oi Creeps! I got 3+ pounds of titanium implants and... well rehab is painful af but your vids help distract me.. they're probably helping prevent PTSD rn for me too! But tbh they help with lots of stuff. Anyway thanks dude!
The moment I heard "...pass the land onto whatever strange governmental department handles this type of thing" I immediately thought of the SCP foundation. Anyone else?
I love the little details you included in the descriptions of things in this. “A plastic bag stretched over a skull”, comparing the scratches to the sting of a box jellyfish. So good! Another great story!
I was hoping this story would be about that porcelain doll found in a trailer in the middle of nowhere with all the booby traps set up. That would be an amazing story! I want to hear it!
Wow, amazingly disturbing story that totally sucked me in all the way through... And your style of narration delivered it perfectly, possibly making it even scarier! Thank you!
Another fantastic story from Christian Wallis, I see. Between the great writing and Creeps' great narration, I was glued to my headphones. Felt so bad for what happened to that person, and I don't mean the storyteller - although it was pretty awful for them, too.
This story was absolutely awesome, I loved it 💙 I also love your soothing voice and perfect narration 💙🖤 Thank you for all you do, I appreciate you so very much 💙💙 Much love from South Carolina USA ❤️ xx May God bless you, keep you healthy and safe ❤️🙏❤️
The real horror of this story is poor people getting kicked out of their home, and instead of the bank turning it around quickly, they just let it sit there for decades so no one can use it.
If you find that big stinky upoer decker. I left it behind. Its haunted by ghost pepper... And funions... Mac and cheese. You shouldnt have forclosed on my home.
I'm so sorry what probably scares you about this job is attention seeking dunts that make up lies and try to go at u out of spite and all the hate the gave you most people come at you over things that aren't true but they just go off what they first best and think to be true. I did my research and you're nothing of what those sickos assume and they deserve the worse hell for that .Thank you for inspiration and years of service and let's curse the others. You're amazing and they know nothing but ignorance 🖤
What is going on what happened why aren’t we getting videos anymore please somebody explain this to me I’ve been watching these every day for years like the better part of six or seven years this is driving me insane I have nothing to listen to nothing to watch and nothing to do why are you doing this help😢😢😢😢😢😅
Hey, it’s nothing to worry about :) He’s still uploading every couple of weeks or so. The thing to remember is, he’s been doing this for over 10 years straight with no breaks, much of that he’s been uploading daily. He’s crazy burned out and he put out a community post a couple months ago explaining he’s taking some “me time”. And in my opinion, it’s well deserved.

I agree, him, nature's temper and creepy ghost stories are 3 of my favorites. Dark som is great, you just gotta have time for long ones

This is very well written and your delivery set the scene. I could damn near smell the stank of it all.
LOL.
When you ask someone who lives in Chicago what they do: 0:02
That was a good one. I, too, was expecting something "wetter". Something akin to the Tar-Man from Return of the Living Dead.

Not really. Secret government organisations make me think of X Files.
