i have been following this man for over 9 year, since I started college at 19, his storytelling has always lifted me up from my worst. even if i take breaks from listening to his channel, I always return and smile and close my eyes and let him guide me into a new world full of horror & fantasy ❤️🤘
2014 for me. The Perfect Baby was my first. After that, it was over with.. Literally every single night I can (which is practically every night) I'd listen to the new one, then fall asleep to the rest. There is literally nothing more I look forward to in my life when you break it down, and Creepsmcpasta is not only a staple in my life, but has become one for literally millions of people. If I had magical powers, I'd have him keep it up for decades to come.
This story is pretty cool actually, apparently just last year there was *a real exploration* hoping that the base of the seawall and some foundations would still remain from the terrible storms and floods that swept ravenser odd/ravensrod away
Ocean Horror is my all time favorite, right up there with Arctic/Wintry Horror!! - Both places are vast and mostly unexplored… creating the perfect settings for some Chilling Horror 🌊😰❄️🥶

spoilers and unwanted story review i dunno, this one was good, but i feel like the antagonist needs to be a little better defined for it to be a fully-developed story, no? By the end of it, the only fleshed-out villain is the boss who has a definite motivation and caused at least emotional harm, if not physical. Otherwise it's just "there is a haunted place. people have supposedly been attacked there. my buddy may also have been pushed by something." just didn't feel like a well-rounded story. one way to fix it could've been: "As i rounded a corner, i hit the jackpot. What looked like an ancient site of ritual sacrifices was remarkably well-preserved. I started taking photos and zoomed in to the pile of bones of the sacrificed under the altar. Something in there was not a bone... it was an air tank. I zoom in further and notice the brand on it: this company has only been making tanks in the last 5 years. This is impossible: the tank is buried under at least 4 skeletons..." So we have a motivation for the town to be killing divers or something.
If their is a severe undercurrent they should’ve just filled up their BCD’s to counteract the current but have their hands on the purge strings to dump air if the current stops so they don’t ascend to quickly and get the bends.

I enjoyed this overall but feel like it could've been better in places. Oliver's anger at the end is tainted by his own refusal to openly disclose what he'd discovered earlier, so he isn't exactly blameless. The project leader should also have expressed interest in seeing/hearing about what he'd photographed the first time, especially if she was aware that strange stuff had happened. In all honesty, it's really just her confession at the end that sort hinders the overall story. If things had *happened before* how had nobody heard of it? After all, you're going to need a 100% new team every single time if it's related to revisiting, and that alone would send undertones of rumour that'd be hard to cover up. Oliver's uneasiness before he ever even went down the first time also feels a little out of place and I was expecting it to be more than just spooky premonition. 🤔
I kinda liked it being vague, I feel like a lot of stories have similar monsters or use a monster as the main element of fear, rather that using other devices
To add some colour to this tale, the water around where it's supposed to be is extremely murky...like cold weak hot chocolate. You can barely see your hand front of your face.
