"This thing belongs in a museum" Only idiots and people destined to die in horror movies/stories say this.
Indiana Jones would beg to differ!
“I don’t care if it’s cursed! Imagine how rich we’ll be!”
Its a clear reference to Indiana Jones. Probably an easter egg.
"We sometimes just call him Chef. Like in South Park." Why did I find this line so funny?
Why’d I sit here n think “ damn , I really don’t know Chefs real name “ 😂😂
@@daleatsoverton9542 Jerome "Chef" McElroy is his name.
Operation human shield is the funniest chef scene in south park hands down
Swear to God this channel is better than going to the movies
The only thing we need is the greasy popcorn and it would be perfect
Hell I don’t even watch tv 📺
Agree. Cheaper, don't have to deal with shitty people talking throught it and these have way more original storylines instead of the same ol crap 'reimagined' into a worse version of the original
Movies suck these days
Bruh dont swear to the Gods

oh so sorry everyone and to Miss B.Lady most especially, I don't know what happened, but I think my s. phone was active on its keypad while I'm lying down sleeping (and moving unconsciously)... my bad... moreover, because, I am using Chilling TFDN as my sleeping pill MOST OFTEN THAN NOT, ... 🙃😅
Hahahahaha head ass got me dying
My favorite part of these is the moment when he says "and that's... When I sawr it"
Sooooo accurate 😂😂😂
I swear that exact line is in almost every story ever. So far I have seen it in over two dozen stories alone.
if theres one thing that adds to this for me, is the fear of the ocean.
I have hydroskourophobia so I am terrified of dark water, the shallow ocean is fine but I would not dare venture out to the depths these guys seem to be at. The darkness would get to me and I would start thinking of drowning
My mom: Aww he's playing with his little boats
My 7 year old self:
This is legit feels like a modern lovecraftian tale.
Thx for the warning, i don't need to waste my time here then
Weird fiction, anyway. There’s a Call of Cthulhu TTRPG scenario called ‘Servants of the Lake’ that’s based on the stories of Ramsay Campbell and the Gla’aki that’s kind of similar.
@@elviscow7287 not a lovecraft fan I take it?
@@zama422 idk, it looks like he’s a big fan
This was fun. The Thing meets Cthulhu, match made in he-Ryleh.
R'lyeh
Defiantly. Especially after he mentioned the city under the sea
@@samanthajeffers9339 Exactly the moment i thought ol squidward would make a guest appearance!
@@SegaChamber XD
More like the Gla’aki and Ramsey Campbell’s stuff. Or Dagon and the Deep Ones if you want to stick with Lovecraft.
This happened to me to... I too caught something I'd never seen before.
The crew told me that what i caught was a haddock.
...Id never been fishing before.
I know Brynn said the shape felt like a seal, but with them saying it looking like a crystal only makes me picture a giant, black Gusher.
Damn, Atlantis has fallen into desperate times if they’re having to kidnap and”reshapes” new citizens of it.
In all seriousness, these fisherman really look out for each other. They take great care of each other and their well being. A great story, the best part is it could happen! Who can disprove it?
The same will happen to Chicago. It already looks like mayor Lori Lightfoot. Notice the eyes on the side of the head
Just out of curiosity: If this could happen, what exactly would it take for you to say that something couldn't happen?
@@edwardv1255 if something evolved like humans did but in the ocean by now I bet they could make things how ever they want like smart mermaids they could combine animals like we do and if they could work together the ocean has more space then land aka more space for the species and more minds they could also study space better with no clouds being they could just be in the middle of the ocean but how would they use electricity under water with out obvious tubing
@@kekoaiverson8040 true, salt water is very conductive, the more dissolved minerals the better.
Hey creeps I just wanna say I love the story as usual you have such an amazing smooth storyteller voice and also congratulations on 2 million I’ve been watching you’re channel mrcreepypastas and creepypastajrs since the beginning!!! ❤️
Yeah, I use them to help go to sleep.
"The Thing" meets Lovecraft. This is really great!
Dear Creepypasta congratulations on 2 million subscribers God bless
You should've donated it to Blathers.
I’m getting a Lovecraftian feel with this story. Hits all the right tones.
*Yes indeed wonderful glorious tones.*
Lovecraft nicked his ideas from the Arabs
@@jamiewilson5162 You gotta get your inspiration from somewhere. Even Tolkien did. He got his from Norse culture and mythology. And of course from others as well.

Congratulations on 2 million. Thanks for all the amazing stories you've shared. I especially dig the sea stories. You're killing the game.
I hate it when a character has my name in these
Same....
Im glad my name isn't common
Some of these stories would make fantastic horror movies. This is one of my all time favorites, I've listened to it at least five times now and it would be a spectacular horror movie 🤌
LOVE the sea stories, keep up the good work creeps!
Man I love these stories about the seas! Keep up the good work
If this was done right, it would make a fantastic movie. I love thses type of stories, especially ocean ones.
Congratulations on 2 million mate! I've listened to you for years and years, I've loved your narrations. However, I've listened to a few older ones and the music seemed more fitting back then. I think it was Miyoo or Miyu who you got your music from and it fit perfectly.
Lovecraft vibes ... always appreciated! Lots of little references to R'lyeh, and the old ones.

Wow that had my attention! 🤩 Great story as usual and epic narration!👍♥️🤘

I assume that seeing fish you've never seen before isn't that strange if you're deep sea fishing because we really have no idea what's down there.
We have a pretty good idea what's down there and deep sea fishermen are not working the marianas trench for goodness sake.
Mat Broomfield really? because over 150 new species of fish are discovered every year.
@@geekgirl616 doesn't mean we'll find a creature that is titanic in size. We have a good idea of what creatures will be down there based on the biology of similar fish we've discovered. we've topographed like the whole ocean. Plus things have to have specific adaptations to survive deep down
Asuka Langley Soryu even if unlikely it's still far from impossible that we would though

I've worked on a fishing boat for 25 years in the Northeast Atlantic seeing some hairy crazyshit
You remeber the most crazy thing?
In 2005 I was in a fishing boat that exploded I had severe third-degree Burns to the back of my hands we lost the kid in the fire the 46-foot boat was up in flames in 2 minutes
@@stephenlydon7071 oh that was dark I was thinking like a monster fish but damm... Sorry to hear that man
@troy wylie........i got storys like that to man. Thats was just the craziest and my luckiest.
No matter how creepy these stories are
They'll never be as scary as having two 5 second unskippable ads
Why do creepypastas nowadays have nearly a whole sentence as a title rather than just a few words?
daaaawwwgggg because they worked on a fishing boat in the North Atlantic an they reeled something in never seen before XD lmao
More descriptive, lets you know what you're in for, does this description sound interesting? Read the story, doesn't? move on, and look for one that does. draw you in more than a proper title will, especially sense there is no 'book description' before the story (i'm not sure what the proper word is off the top of my head? Like a short description of the story like you'd find on the back of a dust jacket?)
Y mny wen fu do?
Why does it matter
@@jack622172 But isn't that just dressing up the cover, the part you're not supposed to judge the book by?

I totally agree! I don't watch much TV anyway, and this stuff is better by far! Cheers
I loved it. and I love long stores so much.Thank you so much.
Terrifying. I definitely don't plan on going on the water anytime soon. Great story. Thank you
Amazing story and narration, it needs a bit of ocean ambience such as creeking of the ship and waves 👌🏻
Tbh I can't decide if I like you or dark somnium more. I find your voice easier to listen to but he has high production value. Hmm I think I'd pick you actually since I tend to listen to RUclips in the background

Congratulations on 2 million.
For April Fools, you should do a semi-okay r/nosleep story but do it while eating or crunching on something every now and then
Been listening to your channel since 2012
Its an alright atory. Wish the author would have done more research on the life n procedures on a fishing boat.
I love your videos. I love the content, your soothing narration is drawing me in. I think you don't need to change your voice for the different characters, if you use the same voice tone all the way through your video, like you used to in your older videos, that's way more immersive than changing your voice for different characters in the story. But that's just my opinion, your narrations are cool, equally soothing and creepy in a good way and I enjoy them.
HAPPY 2 MILLION!!!!

This started out so strong, but then just dragged on.
Whole time I was hoping Omar would live because it reminded me of the boat scene on the walking dead video games with a dude names Omar lol
Lots of present day fishermen have claimed to see something similar to a plesiosaur. But a lot of these giant beasts leave before the ships show up since they are so loud. Research the lake ogo pogo monster as well
This happens to be my all time favorite sorry. Thank You
I just kept thinking DONT TOUCH IT. Two minutes later he’s rubbing all over it and messing around.
What was Enji doing at the end?
Munchkin on fish sticks and French fries 🍟...hmmm 😳 Awesome 👌

This creepypasta giving me some huge hp lovecraft vibes.
Remind me to stay away from the ocean 👍🏻
was it the flying Dutchman?
Flying cat will fight the monsters!
Yeah if I caught something that wasn't a fish and bothered me that bad its going back in the water. Also if you don't know what something is why the hell would you touch it 😳😳. This channel gives me so many reasons to avoid the ocean
Getting major call of cthulhu flashbacks listening to this.
So lovecraftian I love it!
Lovecraft strikes again.
Great story, but what fisherman wouldn't know how external egg fertilization works?
Cthulhu made Atlantis
this is the exact scenario in which the protagonist should pull rank, and rally against the captain immediately for staying in bed, any rare catch should have any trawlerman worth his salt up on deck to judge its value
Big time Lovecraft vibes from this story
Hey, DND player here. We’re they attacked by actual aboleths? The ooze transformation, the monster looks a lot like it!
Reminds me a bit of Call of Cthulu at the start
The thing in the thumbnail reminds me of that one eye cat monster from kirby.
I don't remember the Little Mermaid being this scary 😱
