Sits down at the table, looks at the clearly transparent jug. Picks up the jug and pours the liquid from the jug into the glass. Looks long and intensely at the liquid, examining it closely. Deep breath: "It looks like we have a white wine here". Bravo!
I said puligny monrachet due to the oak flavours coming through behind the fruit flavors and no mention of a dominant creaminess. The descriptors were amazing! I am much more impressed by the people who give descriptors that make me guess the bottle correctly even when they don't themselves. It shows a purity and honesty in your palette and whether you make the most likely logical leap based on the tasting notes are secondary imo. Bravo!
Iam reading her book Wine Girl.... this young lady is a miracle, her life and rise to wine stardom was a hellacious journey....At several points in the book I almost had to put it down because I couldn’t bear to think of the pain and the stress this young woman lived in was under constantly from family so-called friends in the restaurant world. And yet here she is.
I can feel an old boss of mine shuddering with her pronunciation of Montrachet (Mon-rash-ay, dont pronounce the 't') ... ;). ruclips.net/video/6qfXIzubY1Q/видео.html Good process and zeroing in on the region, variety & quality.

Hhheeee true , nowdays it is invasion of wine experts on the internet . Who actually work with wines decade or two is not amused with nonsense
"Torrontes, Argentina" - that line was perfect. Kudos to her for the light humour in the moment.

Same! I'm reading it now and I end many chapters feeling furious about some of the things she had to put up with. So much respect for her
She said 'delicious' so many times.. 😂. A girl after my own heart
I love these Supertaster videos! Especially when I nearly get it right, I went for Mersault too :-)
You nailed that wine girl! You are being so modest.
I’m amazed they can do that simply by smell and taste.
Great review 🙌🏼. . . Quince? I had to look that up, and “clotted cream” 😳🥴
I have no freaking clue how they can guess it to that detail I would have trouble with the barefoot wines. and there are like 4 at marc's. lol.
Very cool. Eye opening as well.
Niiicce, you came darn close.
Nailed it. Very impressive.
A white wine..
Yellow color..
Nose, nothing funky.. a little milk
Tastes like sour cream and wood.

i laughed when she said torrontes
My palate only has sweet, sour, dry and nasty
So it's not the urine of donkey from Yucatan Peninsula?

Premier cru or villages ?Well quite big difference girl , ford or mercedes ?
Village level wines from great producers can sell for more than less reputable grand crus, so it is not a simple linear progression as you impy.
Although I disliked her e-book - I like her tasting.
toss up somm
I would rather watch a cat video.
Embarrassing
