We were in Highlands the Saturday after Thanksgiving last year, for the tree lighting festival. It is beautiful at Christmas.

We visited Cashiers and Highlands last fall on a waterfall tour. We didn't vet to check out the shops. We'll have to plan to visit again. Thanks for sharing all the shops and restaurants.

I visited Highlands for the first time last week.... beautifully landscaped area and super-friendly locals (and tourists). Hiked up Whiteside and looped around the Botanical gardens.

Thanks for sharing. This town reminds us of our Niagara on the Lake here in Ontario. Lots of old inns, beautiful homes and gardens as well as high end shops. It is on Lake Ontario. Very beautiful.

So glad you guys finally made it to Highlands. I believe it's one of the prettiest mountain towns and Plateaus anywhere. I've got property up in Glenville. You guys should also check out Cashiers and eat at The Ugly Dog Pub. You will love it!

Glad you went to Highlands. It is a fun place to visit. We drove from Dillard Georgia up to Highlands. It is about 9 miles and the temperature dropped 10 degrees. It is beautiful. The last time we were there we were on our way back from Sapphire Valley, NC. thanks for your tour. Have been in that Kilwins. Love their ice Cream.
Great video!! You are getting closer to us with the videos (we are in Toccoa, GA)....lol!! Love Highlands, Cashiers, Franklin and the entire area. Wayah Bald Lookout outside of Franklin is awesome if you haven't been there and River Vista RV Park in Dillard, GA is a great place to stay if you aren't familiar with it. Keep the great content coming!!

Highlands had many shops that didn't allow videoing a few years ago. Did y'all notice any of that on this trip? Also, below Highlands there is a beautiful place known as 'old iron bridge' but I wouldn't bring your van down there. The road is narrow and mostly gravel with little margin for error. But there is usually lots of people there in the summer. Great Video as usual!

Love Highlands. It's so pretty, but definitely high-end now due to all the retirees & people with expensive summer homes in the area.
I adore all your videos it’s Saturday night august 10, 2024 and I. Relaxing watching quiet a few of videos in the Carolina’s. Fall creek is sooo pretty. I really wish you would tell us what month it is in your location. Like. Falls creek , it looked like November. Or at least the trees did. Very bare already. Well it’s back to your adventures for me. Did they actually allow them to take the dog in Kilwins? I’m not a fan of animals where there is food.
