BCEHS 50th - The road to 1974

While British Columbia's provincial ambulance service is celebrating it's 50th anniversary in 2024, the history of ambulance services in BC has much, much earlier beginnings.
We'll take a brief look at stories from the earliest ambulance services to operate in BC, through the 20th century, setting the stage for the creation of the modern healthcare system and ambulance service that serves British Columbia today.
