    Great looking buggy! 2wd buggies will always hold a place in my heart as that's what I raced in Antioch ca growing up..Tamiya Falcon at age 10 and then a RC10 gold pan a few seasons later

    Great content as always 👍 I've dipped my toes into racing and got a sworkz s12.2d was going to get the TLR 22 5.0 but got turned off buy the lack off a quick diff release as for the sworkz looking forward to getting it on the track but one thing I've noticed on the tube not much if any content. Maybe up your alley after your done with the yokomo 🤞 always appreciate your help with all your great helpful content ✌️

    All these buggies look the exact same now. I remember back in the day when you could tell the difference by looking at it.

      it doesn't help that this buggy uses the same body as the Associated!

    Maybe it's that our driving styles are different, or perhaps carpet is very different to astroturf, but I had very little issue with the stock setup until I started running on indoor clay

      I've never ran on astroturf, but I hear it's kinda inbetween dirt and carpet.

    I have the slipper eliminator and my first time putting a battery I'm and running it I didn't like the sound it was putting out. Sounds like there's something loose. Idk.

    Car is handling well, looks like it might need quicker steering? A few more tweaks and you should be there. Seems to have good power. Like the new track layout 👍

    Can a vintage type body fit in modern buggy? Is cab forward body really necessary?

      thanks, it was actually pretty hard to drive, needs some work, this was after all the setup changes already, ha!

    Stock setup is thought to run schumacher tires all around. Yokomo springs are crap, it definitely runs much better with AE springs on

      for sure

      If you look at most set up sheets on carpet in Europe, people run Yokomo Racing Performer springs (not the kit ones), usually in Purple

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  2 года назад +1

      @@thesquirrelz5363 thanks, they really should have included those in the box, the kit springs are pretty much unusable.

      In general if you can find them the Yokomo Arena springs for turf / carpet work well, but you do get higher spring rates as far as that measured spring rate chart that is out there on some Yokomo Facebook groups from AE for fronts. Rears, Yokomo's have much stiffer rates than AE as far as what was measured, Go Figure lol

    Looking good. Maybe a little heavier shock oil and the car will be near perfect. What spur gear is on the car?

    • @RazorRC

      stock, I can't remember the tooth count, maybe 82/84?

    How would you rank the Yokomo Cal3.1 vs. other 2wds? Thanks, Glenn

    • @RoachRC
      @RoachRC 2 года назад +1

      I have the old CAL 3 but I've also run associated, kyosho, amd losi buggies. I'd say the Yokomo was the best put together, the Associated was the most durable, and the Losi was the easiest to setup well for dirt

    What diff oil do you have on it?

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  2 года назад +1

      I’m running 2 gear 5k, but I think I need to increase it to 7k

    would probably run better if it was painted red !
