My go to underrated fragrance house that ticks all the boxes is Olympic Orchids. Mostly, if not exclusively, natural materials that still feel complex and complete, transportive themes. They're also extremely well priced with 120€/$ for 100ml and with 15 and 30ml options. Another house I've been recently been falling in love with is Fueguia 1833. Not the cheapest but unique accords with uniquely sourced materials. You get natural smells that somehow feel non standard and surprisingly perform great.
Olympic Orchids is so wonderful. Really really unique smells….Cafe V, Night flyer, Dev 2, 3, etc. Unfortunately very difficult to get in the UK since brexit(unless someone knows different). As you say the pricing is very generous
Oh, I do need to find a retailer that will ship to me at a decent price. I've only heard good things about Olympic Orchids. Thanks for sharing with us 🌹Xo Sam
Ooh I’m loving these. Love Perris Monte Carlo. I’m enjoying Matiere Premiere’s collection, his fragrances are so effortless and high quality. I’d love a solo video on Parfum de Nicolai!
I’ll always love Serge because they are what got me in to niche over fifteen years ago. Perris Monte Carlo has several I love and own. Great quality and price. Great list. Agree with all. Thanks!
Lovely list! My additions would be Ormonde Jayne, État Libre d'Orange and Olfactive Studio. The latter two I think have great brand concepts and are really creative, and OJ is simply beautiful to me.
Hi Sam, I hope you allow me that I declare "We've had enough of those" as the new slogan of my choice of fragrances :) I'm so fed up by pompous "niche" brands that copy and upscale popular designer scents and fill them in bottles which look like a lot of money and much less creative ideas. Looks like a great selection today, Perris Monte Carlo have released some of my favourite fragrances, and the same goes for Goutal. What I know from Gallivant, Tauer and Histoire de Parfums is also great and I'll try and dive deeper into the other brands mentioned. I really look forward to more videos like this!
Loved this video! I realize probably more designer, but I love Lalique. So many beautiful, unique and affordable bottles; especially for those, like me, who are at the beginning their journey. There is lot to love and they are fairly easy to understand.
Thanks for mentioning Serge Lutens, it's my 2nd favorite brand (after Amouage) and I have and love so many but my favorites are Tubereuse Criminelle, Fille de Berlin, Chypre Rouge, & Jeux de Peau.
Hello Sam! Really appreciate you sharing this list, except Éris and Ruth, I’m familiar with them all. I cannot agree more when you spoke about Serge Lutens, this is a brand that got me started on my perfume journey in 2004-05. The original Amber Sultan has been my comfort scent, and I have 3 backup bottles of it, and still have 1 bottle of Bois de Miel 🤣. I’d like to add Pierre Guillaume Paris on this list, this house is not new, but has some very original stuff worth trying. Also, I love Etro (it’s a designer house, I know😅)
Wow, envious of your Ambre Sultan collection. Pierre Guillaume is indeed fantastic as well. Etro, I have a soft spot for from the beginning of my fragrance journey 🌹Xo Sam
Very nice job, Sam. Personally, I don't think perfumery gets much better than Serge. Especially this new stuff. I personally think Zoologist has a decent price ratio. Considering they're unique and create extrait compositions. I also enjoy Imaginary Authors, Kerosene, January Scent Project and, even tho they're expensive when you factor in ml for price, Nasomatto. To me, they are definitely justified. Their creations are next level, albeit not as natural as some may want. Really appreciate your videos. Keep up the good work.
Thank goodness you did a followup video of your previous one about brands that you don’t follow. I hope you could expose us to more of your discoveries and more brands that deserve attention.
Oh I hope Annick Goutal go back to their old style bottles!! Eau d’Hadrien EdT is a fav for summer! They were so beautiful and charming looking, the rebrand was so bland and charmless, and antithesis to what their customers loved about them Lol 😂 Have you tried Equestrian by Sonoma Scent Studio? I would love to hear how it compares to Naomi Goodsir Equis!
Was just about to name Annick Goutal... Used to love, but theve totally lost their charm. Older bottlew were iconic but also the price has just doubled :(
I would love for you to do another video on Middle Eastern oud like you mentioned:-). Let’s see I have Kalemat Black, Rasasi Indonesia and a couple others but I would love a nice skanky oud possibly with amber. One that I wore the heck out of this past winter is Malesia by Xerjoff. Lots of oud.. now to check out the rest of your video:-) Need to try Naomi Goodsir and Parfum d’Empire. I have sampled Ma Bête- loved it! Ok- Olympic Orchids is criminally underrated! They have the best forest perfume, called Blackbird, they have this cinnamon oil bomb- the oil is different than the powder- called Dev 2. A wild one called Tropic of capricorn and others. Very well priced.
Thank you for the suggestion, Sibyl. I definitely have something similar in mind. Olympic Orchids, I haven't had the chance to try yet. Forest perfume sounds wonderful 🌹Xo Sam
You are my new favorite reviewer! Great idea for a video, may make my own version on the theme. I find that Laboratorio Olfattivo have great fragrances for the price! Agree with Perris Monte Carlo but not Nicolai which I am not fond of. Hilde Soliani might be a good example of someone who is doing her own thing. Am not really a gourmand lover but her stuff is amazing!
A bit late to the party but, yeah, I’d love to see these alternate brands get some internet exposure. After all, that is what the internet is for! I have a few Serge Lutens and Perris Monte Carlo in my collection and they’re both great brands with beautiful options to choose from! I have never heard of the others and really want to see more.
Glad you compiled this type of breakdown. Underrated "lists" is underated content! Also, my shout out to the brands which offer 30ml on top of already being awesome (Histories, Parfums de Nicolai 🙏). Others I might consider among the lot - some, you've featured prior - St. Giles, Jovoy, Masque Milano, Santi Burgas, Une Nuit Nomade. Lately I've been quite impressed w/ Maison Rebatchi
Glad you found underrated brands that many of us already know about. Mainly because we were not spending the amount you were on your bottles. Serge Lutens is a classic and has many iconic scents. Since you are exploring more budget friendly options try Pearlescent Parfums, Gallagher Fragrances, Dreamhouse-Ikiryo, Rirana and Maison de Darius.
thank you very much for this - thrilled to bits to be mentioned in such fine ( underrated ! ) company. Pure music to my ears, thank you, Nick ( am wearing SL Fils de Joie myself today - just glorious isn't it ! )
Thank you for sharing these brands! You mentioned so many I love (Perris, Eris, Lutens). I find that Christèle Jacquemin and Dawn Spencer Hurwitz (DSH) are not talked about enough.
PARFUM D'EMPIRE is reeeeeal niche, love this house! Have you tried AZIYADÉ? A spicy, bold plum fragrance with the most beautiful Coca-Cola opening you can imagine 😃
You show some of my fav houses in this list!! Like Goutal (Songes, Heure Exquise and all 3 orientalistes are some of my super favs) and Serge Lutenes (buah....what to say about Serge....top top quality, nuanced compositions, elegance...), Tauer.... These brands were once well loved in the community, but they have been forgotten....replaced by Amouage (which I admit I looove) , Rojas and Xerjoffs and other luxury brands with higher prices that became the new object of desire and "perfume you MUST have".... BLAH! Songes is the best tropical floral ever, Amber Fetiche one of the best ambers, Heure Exquise has one of the most gorgeous green openings followed by an amazing buttery orris.... Ambre Sultan is another to die for amber, A la Nuit the best most well balanced Jasmin, Fleurs dOranger one of the best Orange blossoms, Fille en Aiguilles is one of the lost amazing foresty incenses......And Tauer...I have a bunch and I love them...Noontide Petals is an edgier take on Baghari, that then was copied by Xerjoxx Pykovaya Dama... And Parfums DEmpire!! I bought a bunch of them back when they had the old bottles....Cuir Ottoman is a GORGEOUS iris leather combo. I need to try their newer perfumes...one of my fav brands ever. Amazing brands!! So glad to bring them back the love they deserve. The other brands that I don't know, I am writing down in my to taste list!! My personal additions would be: - Papillon Perfums (tho it does get some love) - Etat Libre d'orange (I love their carefree, kind of fun and adolescent spirit) - Rogue Perfumery (looooving this brand at the moment) - Olympic Orchids - Oriza L Legrand - Beautifully prized and very beautiful creations. I have several in my to buy list - Dyprique - Brand that is continuously ignored and has GREAT fragrances - Maitre parfumeur et grantier -- amazing ambers, leathers and gorgeous ylang ylang. Classic perfumery at its finest
@@MyWorldofFragrance thanks to you!! And please please!! Keep us updated about your discoveries!! Don't you feel like...you have kind of shed an enormous weight off your shoulders after deciding to ignore the trends and the hype? It lets you explore perfumery at your own pace since you don't have to be on top of every new release....
Mendittorosa would be at the top of my list. True artistry on every level, and the most genuine customer service I've experienced. Premium prices, but worth every penny!
All amazing brands listed here. The perris Monte Carlo extraits makes my heart melt. I remember when I smelled Tabac Tabou for the first time, but I do need to try some more Naomi Goodsir. One brand I'll add is Stora Skuggan 🙌
Nicolai - Cuir Cuba & Patchouli Intense are lovely stuff and the only 2 i've tried from the house. Serge Lutens - Chergui is a banger, I was making up a decant for someone this week and revisited it and boy what a stunner... so so good. Same thing for L'air du desert Marocain, brilliant spice market fragrance, abit of a struggle for most initially but wonderful when it settles.
I haven't sampled anything from Perris Monto Carlo, Ruth Mastenbroke, or Eris, but I will. I don't own anything from Parfums d' Empire, but I will. I very much enjoy Tabac Tabou. _best wishes to you_
I own eight SERGE LUTENS, more as a decant and besides ELDO, ZOOLOGIST & HISTOIRE DE PARFUMS this is my favourite brand! Absolutely not generic and very artistique -> all 😍
Serge Lutens is my favorite perfumer! I have a lot of his fragrances. I brought Fil De Joie after your video and love it! Thanks for sharing all these great brands to try! Fun video!
Fantastic video! Thank you Sam! I have been fan of Serge L. for last 12 years and Im so happy to see that one of first niche brands will get some well deserved love on your channel ❤️
One I really like that’s not talked about much is Teo Cabanel. Great offerings, great sample set, multiple sizes to make entry point cost more reasonable. Chef’s kiss.
Great review. I look forward to trying these out, incidentally just received a sample of Cap Neroli which is lovely. The artisan brand I'm loving is Hiram Green - high quality all natural ingredients but with complexity. Rather pricey but worth it to be free of perfume-induced headaches. His Slowdive is an addictive honey tobacco.
Thanks for this video. I love Histoire de Parfums - fortunately there's a store close to me where I can smell and try before I buy😀 I'm keen to try Tauer perfumes, but I haven't found a store here in Dubai that carries the brand so I can try before I buy😐. Three brands I discovered recently that I've heard nobody talk about are Jardin de Parfums, Afgano by Afgano and Oud Lab. Thoroughly thoroughly enjoy all of them👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾. And the bonus is they're not that expensive even though they're all niche brands.
i recently discovered your channel, thanks for this video, i found a couple new houses to explore. also, i love histoires 1740 and no one ever mentions it, so i'm glad to see it here. an underrated perfume house is DSH (dawn spencer hurwitz) i think she has some really amazing perfumes. she has a lot of vintage inspired stuff too, which i appreciate.
Goutal!! one of my favorite brands ever. Excited to hear that they're bringing back their old bottles!! I also wish they'd bring back Eau de Camille, since it sounds exactly like my type of thing.
I haven’t heard of most of these brands! I did watch your video on Naomi Goodsir and I got Cuir Velours which I absolutely love. I’m so excited to explore these others ones. I’d love a full video on Histories de Parfums!
One more, Fueguia. Now this brand has a very interesting, eye catching counter display at Bloomingdales in Dubai Mall. As unique as the counter display is, I only tried the fragrances after seeing one reviewer here on RUclips talking about the brand. . So many gems within this brand.
I agree that Histoires de parfums makes different scents. A few years ago I ordered the discovery set and to this day I whip it out and keep smelling them. I can appreciate all of them and that doesn’t happen often. oh and great topic for all of us who need to be reminded that there brands out there besides the one that spend so much on marketing
yeah! quality content as always ❤️ currently loving Peris ylang ylang nosy be, Gdańsk by Gallivant is next on the list to test. can't stand the synthetic mass appealing stuff 🧐looking at you CH good girl 🤣
Thank you for talking about all of these! There’s so many here that I haven’t gotten into but have been wanting to for a while. Have you tried much from The Merchant of Venice? I just picked up Andalusian Soul and I’m IN LOVE with it. I also love Serge Lutens but I believe they just pulled out of selling in the states so discounters are pretty much the only place I can get them. I’d love to see more in depth videos of your Perris Monte Carlo collection, Nicolaï, and Naomi Goodsir. Another fragrance house that I think is lovely but don’t hear much about is Panah London. I had JUST recorded a video about Ganache Parfums (another quite underrated brand imo) only to find out that the founder/perfumer just announced his separation from the company earlier this week and they’re becoming a clone house 😭 Side note- I could listen to your French accent all day 😂 It’s gorgeous!
My pleasure! Oh I haven't tried that one from TMOV. Panah either - strange, considering I live in London, but there are just so many brands here. Appreciate you. 🌹Xo Sam
Love love love Sables by Goutal and 1804 by Histoires des Parfums. Nuit de Bakelite is on my to-buy list...I need to sample some more from Naomi Goodsir. I'm from California, so I like some underrated local brands like Boy Smells. I love Violet Ends and Cowboy Kush. I also just picked up Hinoki Fantome, which I am really liking. I also like Litoralle Aromatica, another Californian brand...Isola Rosa and Caramellino are my favorites. Thanks!
I discovered your channel and many of my favourite frag comm reviewers through trying to find reviews of some of these houses. Thanks for an honest outlook. I am discovering my nose knows the difference between quality materials and lesser ones. Value is important especially now. Thanks again for another great review! - Jenn
I'd add to this list Lorenzo Villoresi and Thameen. I was surprised you mentioned Nicolai. Didn't think they are known in the US. This is indeed a wonderful underrated house (as is Villoresi). I'm going to visit their main store in Paris soon. Is Byredo in your blacklist? They have a few gems.
Great list. I love SL Fleurs d'Oranger. I will add a second vote for Ormonde Jayne. Ormonde Man is a fantastic perfume. Also check out Sarah Baker. Her latest, Loudo, is wonderful. It feels like a more animalic riff on Shalimar to me. Shay and Blue also has some very wearable fragrances.
hello, here is a very nice review of niche perfumes. I like all the brands mentioned except for two that I don't know. I have a passion for Serge Lutens perfumes and if you're in Paris go see the boutique in the "gardens" of the Palais Royal, it's worth the detour. You will find the perfumes in the "table bottles" shape with in particular "la myrrhe" and "De profundis" the best for me; I love also il y a aussi "Miel de bois","Bois de violette"et "Iris" and finally "la dompteuse encagée"; in short, I am enthusiast. thank you for talking about Nicolaï the prices are reasonable for a good quality
Ah, yes, one day I'll be in Paris at that boutique. I can't believe I've always passed it by. Sadly nothing will be discounted there, but it will be worthwile. 🌹Xo Sam
Ooh it's so exciting to hear about Ruth Mastenbroek. Very underrated perfumer! She made a very many scents for Bath House, one of my fave brands for years now. I'm wanting to try her own line, I'm going to get her discovery set as I'm nowhere near anywhere that stocks 🙌
Ugh, yall Americans and Europeans have it so good with all these brands. No one in southeast asia sells these :C except for a few serge lutens stuff. But! Let me introduce you to our niches: Malay Perfumerie, a Malaysian niche brand focusing on the scents that are loved and worn by Malays throughout time. Women used to bathe in flower water and braid these flowers into their hair! From Singapore, we have Singapore Memories, a brand focusing on local scents as well. Both of these don't ship internationally, I don't think, so you'd have to do parcel forwarding
@@MyWorldofFragrance yes, hopefully! And no prob ^_^ southeast asian niches don’t get a lot of exposure outside our borders. I made a typo, it’s Singapore Memories, not Singapore Memo, lol. SM incorporates orchids into their fragrances, as our National flower is an orchid (Miss Vanda Joaquim)! Aranda 1965 is their most well known one, and it’s a scent that revolves around the wild aranda orchid
Yes, Loved this video. Please continue to bring us good brands....especially the ones that are more affordable. I have already checked on some Serge Lutens and Histoires de Parfums than can be found on discounters. Good scents on a budget are my speed. Like the ones you have mentioned on and off, Mitsouko, Femme, Habinita.
I’m so happy to have discovered your channel. It’s refreshing to see content that isn’t dependent on Top 10 lists or clickbait. Well done! Have you tried anything from Rogue Perfumery? A brand that also flies under the radar and does modern takes on classic scents
I love it when I get introduced to less talked and unique brands🤩😍👌. I would love to try Histories de Parfums, Perrin Monte Carlo and Goutal😉😉. Great content as always👌👌. Stay gorgeous🥰🥰.
Wonderful recommendations, some of my favourite brands there, Tauer probably being top for me. A couple others I can mention are Hendley over in the US, and Papillon here, there sure are some great creators out there👌🏻
Great video, there’s definitely a lot of under appreciated and overlooked brands that needs a shout out (I really like low key heritage brands like Fragonard). I’m tired of the hype train and overpriced “it” fragrances lacking uniqueness. Ruth Mastenbroek and Gallivant is on my discovery list this year. Any thoughts about Theodoros Kalotinis fragrances?
Yesss! Glad you posted this video after the previous. I have the same sentiment lately where I want to get to know different perfumeries that are less known. 🥳 FYI for other watchers: lucky scent has a good amount of the brands mentioned in this video. 😏
I'm very guilty of not trying enough Serge L but a dirty jasmine I need to get my nose on. HdP I have enjoyed what I've tried from them and same with Nilolai, some really beautiful ones. Criminally underrated two of my faves April Aromatics and One Way Bridge. I don't know if Maison Violet fits but I know you've spoken about them. Fab video mate
I love Serge Lutens!!! I was so glad to see this on your video. I've seen a little bit about Histoires de Parfums and Eris before, but would love to learn more. Most interesting to me is Ruth Masterbrook. I know nothing at all about this brand. I really appreciate your content on perfumers and brands that are well made and worth the purchase. That are less about the brand name and hype, and more about the quality and artistry. I look forward to more. You asked about other less known/hyped houses. I just got Coven from Andrea Maack- green but dark and so so good. Honestly I have only tried one other from her line, soft tension, which I will probably purchase in the future. So, I am unsure on what the rest of her collection is like.
Hurray! S.L. has die-hard fans (including myself). Andrea Maack is so interesting. I have two from her line, one discontinued. It was before she made the bottles all black. 🌹Xo Sam
Finally a channel without the mention of Delina and BKR 540. I respect MFK because he proudly presented his heritage and didn't change his name. But too much of something is never good.
I'm such a fan of Nicolai fragrances, such a great quality for the price. Definitely has some Guerlain vibes (Musc intense even made me think of Chanel). Funny Fleur d'orangers was my first SL, I have a few more since ^^ Fils de joie is a beautiful dark jasmine. It was also my last one from the brand with La dompteuse encagée (and a gratte-ciel bottle of Fille en aiguilles). Parfum d'empire has also an amazing quality of fragrances. I had a crush on Le cri de la lumière :)
Would love to hear your more in-depth takes on Perris... I've got their osmanthus fragrance in both edp and extrait and it's truly poetry for the nose... It's THE BEST osmanthus fragrance ever... Also how do you feel about Rogue? I've been in love with (on my THIRD bottle) Chypre Siam for years and the performance is STELLAR..!
Good afternoon Is any of these brands market it toward men and unisex I like what you said and agree in your other video that you did trying something new and never heard of if you can Thanks .
Hi! Serge Lutens was the first niche brand I knew and I love his first perfumes, the new ones or reformulations... Well... I did not smell all of them, but the one I like a lot is santal majuscule, a very comforting scent for me. Parfum d'Empire I also love, Corsica Furiosa is a great fresh powerful green perfume, cuir ottoman before de the reformulation was my number one leather which turned after a couple of hours into the most gorgeous amber, and the new salute is so original, wine and chocolate, hello! Also the prices are acceptable for me to buy. I do not want to pay more than 200/bottle. Great video and beautiful summer dress 😍
@@soniasobaro9127 hello Sonia! I love Ormonde Jayne Woman too! OJ seems to have this rice pudding like accord that I have found very soothing and classy.
I love Goutal perfumes. I’ve yet to come across one Goutal perfume that I don’t like(the worst ones are only too weak and short lasting on me they don’t smell bad)P.s Your fashion is always so on point!Love this shirt and your hairstyle.
I have Serge Lutens on my radar (Tubereuse Criminelle and Fils de Joie), based on recommendations from one of your previous videos! I’m also wondering if you can make a video highlighting fragrance houses founded by people of color, and perfumers of color, specifically Black perfumers. Also women perfumers and women-founded fragrance houses. I looked up Maya Njie based on another recommendation from you, and I know about Chris Collins, Savoir Fair, and Pink MahogHany. I’m early in my fragrance journey and I’d like to be more intentional of the fragrances I buy and who to support. Thanks!
Thanks, Nicole! I have been looking into this, but many brands don't ship outside the US. Hopefully will have tried them all in the near future 🌹Xo Sam
Thanks for the video! I subscribed to your channel at minute two of this video. 🙂 I especially appreciated your way of talking and explaining about each of the perfumes and the creators! You communicate clearly and articulately without being affected or pretentious! I would like to ask you what the designation "powder" or "poudree" means in some perfumes (eg. Narciso Rodriguez Poudree Eau de Parfum; which despite being a perfume that I consider quite sweet, as I am a fan of more citrus scents, I fell in love with this perfume, using it all year round!). If you've already made a video talking about this, could you indicate which one? Or if you know any literature that explains it, could you please indicate it? Thank you in advance for your attention! Keep up the good work! Maria
I would love to see a dedicated review for each brand mentioned. The size options are perfect.

Since you are exploring more budget friendly options try Pearlescent Parfums, Gallagher Fragrances, Dreamhouse-Ikiryo, Rirana and Maison de Darius.
Thanks so much for the recommendations! 🌹Xo Sam
thank you very much for this - thrilled to bits to be mentioned in such fine ( underrated ! ) company. Pure music to my ears, thank you, Nick ( am wearing SL Fils de Joie myself today - just glorious isn't it ! )
Ah, Nick! Lovely to see you here sharing your scent of the day 🌹 Xo Sam
Thank you for sharing these brands! You mentioned so many I love (Perris, Eris, Lutens). I find that Christèle Jacquemin and Dawn Spencer Hurwitz (DSH) are not talked about enough.
Glad you're giving attention to these great quality fragrances. Some of my favorite houses in here.
I love the roads on which you lead us. Thank you!
Thank you for being here! 🌹Xo Sam
My personal additions would be:
- Papillon Perfums (tho it does get some love)
- Etat Libre d'orange (I love their carefree, kind of fun and adolescent spirit)
- Rogue Perfumery (looooving this brand at the moment)
- Olympic Orchids
- Oriza L Legrand - Beautifully prized and very beautiful creations. I have several in my to buy list
- Dyprique - Brand that is continuously ignored and has GREAT fragrances
- Maitre parfumeur et grantier -- amazing ambers, leathers and gorgeous ylang ylang. Classic perfumery at its finest
Thank you so much for this comment! You've been around, my friend. Really know your stuff. Appreciate you 🌹Xo Sam
Love your quote from "Mean Girls' so funny. You go Glen Coco.
I am such a novice and I absolutely love your depth of knowledge. I’m here with my pen and paper taking notes! Can’t wait to try samples!
Thanks, Michelle! Those extraits are so good, aren't they... sure you'd love N.G. Stora Skuggan is a cool brand for sure 🌹Xo Sam
Love Perris, I tried their mandarina and orange... The best ones I ever smelled in perfumes
Fun video!
Yes, fabulous brand. I'm so glad you enjoyed Fils de Joie, that jasmine is just sexy 🌹Xo Sam
Fantastic video! Thank you Sam! I have been fan of Serge L. for last 12 years and Im so happy to see that one of first niche brands will get some well deserved love on your channel ❤️
Thank you, I think I'm a Lutens lover for life, my friend 🌹Xo Sam
@@MyWorldofFragrance so there are two of us 😉❤️ and hopely many more to come - thanks to your videos Sam 🙌🤗
@@happygoluckystar8069 So sweet of you 🌹Xo Sam
One I really like that’s not talked about much is Teo Cabanel. Great offerings, great sample set, multiple sizes to make entry point cost more reasonable. Chef’s kiss.
Great review. I look forward to trying these out, incidentally just received a sample of Cap Neroli which is lovely. The artisan brand I'm loving is Hiram Green - high quality all natural ingredients but with complexity. Rather pricey but worth it to be free of perfume-induced headaches. His Slowdive is an addictive honey tobacco.
Thank you, Kelly. Very nice. I haven't tried all the Hiram Greens, but look forward to 🌹Xo Sam
Hey Sam! I would love to see a video on your favourite Middle Eastern Frags ☺️
Thanks for this video. I love Histoire de Parfums - fortunately there's a store close to me where I can smell and try before I buy😀
I'm keen to try Tauer perfumes, but I haven't found a store here in Dubai that carries the brand so I can try before I buy😐.
I love all your recommandations:
The best houses in this galaxy 😃
i recently discovered your channel, thanks for this video, i found a couple new houses to explore. also, i love histoires 1740 and no one ever mentions it, so i'm glad to see it here. an underrated perfume house is DSH (dawn spencer hurwitz) i think she has some really amazing perfumes. she has a lot of vintage inspired stuff too, which i appreciate.
Goutal!! one of my favorite brands ever. Excited to hear that they're bringing back their old bottles!! I also wish they'd bring back Eau de Camille, since it sounds exactly like my type of thing.
Oh, such a shame. I haven't tried Eau de Camille either. Definitely looking forward to the old bottle comeback 🌹Xo Sam
I haven’t heard of most of these brands! I did watch your video on Naomi Goodsir and I got Cuir Velours which I absolutely love. I’m so excited to explore these others ones. I’d love a full video on Histories de Parfums!
Oh, fantastic. Cuir Velours is magic. Will add your suggestion to the list, thank you! 🌹Xo Sam
I would mention as an additional brand 4160 Tuesdays one of my favorite British niche perfume
One more, Fueguia. Now this brand has a very interesting, eye catching counter display at Bloomingdales in Dubai Mall. As unique as the counter display is, I only tried the fragrances after seeing one reviewer here on RUclips talking about the brand. . So many gems within this brand.
Agreed!! La Cautiva makes my heart swoon 💕
Oh yes, I tried them in NY! Sadly, they're not available in Europe. Will review them once they are 🌹Xo Sam
That's incredible. I'm glad the discovery set lasted you that long. 🌹Xo Sam
The whole Orto Parisi line is just amazing to me.
I really like Henry Rose, Dedcool and TokyoMilk. Very different and pleasing.
yeah! quality content as always ❤️ currently loving Peris ylang ylang nosy be, Gdańsk by Gallivant is next on the list to test. can't stand the synthetic mass appealing stuff 🧐looking at you CH good girl 🤣
Thank you! Fantastic. I have been completely turned off those too 🌹Xo Sam
I had JUST recorded a video about Ganache Parfums (another quite underrated brand imo) only to find out that the founder/perfumer just announced his separation from the company earlier this week and they’re becoming a clone house 😭
Side note- I could listen to your French accent all day 😂 It’s gorgeous!
My pleasure! Oh I haven't tried that one from TMOV. Panah either - strange, considering I live in London, but there are just so many brands here. Appreciate you. 🌹Xo Sam
Hello Sam! I addore Nicolai and Tauer Fragrances, and next i am testing Goutal and Serge Lutens. Thanks for your inspiring video.😊
Thank you! I hope you enjoy testing them out 🌹Xo Sam
I like that you use the language affordable versus cheap. You can tell you pay attention to detail.
Thank you. I'm not here to hurt anybody 🌹Xo Sam
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing. Wish those brands were easy for me to get a hold of, but I'm sure they will be in the future 🌹Xo Sam
I discovered your channel and many of my favourite frag comm reviewers through trying to find reviews of some of these houses. Thanks for an honest outlook. I am discovering my nose knows the difference between quality materials and lesser ones. Value is important especially now. Thanks again for another great review! - Jenn
Thank you, I appreciate that. You have a great nose then 🌹Xo Sam
I know I mentioned it before, but love Serge Lutens it was my first niche fragrance house and good, good value for the money.
Yes! Ormonde Jayne is great. I still haven't tried Sarah Baker, but I must 🌹Xo Sam
hello, here is a very nice review of niche perfumes.
🌹Xo Sam
@@MyWorldofFragrance I twice had the opportunity to by at Serges Lutens Palais Royal shop with reduction of 25% and recently 20%
@@fanfreluche Wow, that's very lucky! 🌹
Thank you! I do think her discovery set is worth checking out 🌹Xo Sam
I'm sorry! Hopefully there will be a way for you to get them in the future. Thanks for the recommendations, they sound cool 🌹Xo Sam
My most loved house is really SERGE LUTENS:
All killer, no filler 😍
Yes, Loved this video. Please continue to bring us good brands....especially the ones that are more affordable. I have already checked on some Serge Lutens and Histoires de Parfums than can be found on discounters. Good scents on a budget are my speed. Like the ones you have mentioned on and off, Mitsouko, Femme, Habinita.
Thank you! I'll continue to do so 🌹Xo Sam
I’m so happy to have discovered your channel. It’s refreshing to see content that isn’t dependent on Top 10 lists or clickbait. Well done!
Have you tried anything from Rogue Perfumery? A brand that also flies under the radar and does modern takes on classic scents
Thank you so much. Yes, Rogue is fantastic. I'll do a video on them 🌹Xo Sam
Perris Monte Carlo and Nicolai for sure! 💛
I’m really interested in that Monte Carlo Perris Rose de Taif extrait de perfume. Could you do a review on it? Thank you for your awesome videos.
SERGE LUTENS scents are my absolute favourites❣️
You have a really good taste, not like the other girls on youtube or insta: you are special and this is marvellous 😍
Love Nicolai Ny Intense….excellent
I love it when I get introduced to less talked and unique brands🤩😍👌. I would love to try Histories de Parfums, Perrin Monte Carlo and Goutal😉😉. Great content as always👌👌. Stay gorgeous🥰🥰.
Thank you! 🌹Xo Sam
Wonderful recommendations, some of my favourite brands there, Tauer probably being top for me. A couple others I can mention are Hendley over in the US, and Papillon here, there sure are some great creators out there👌🏻
Thanks for the mentions, Marcus. I wish Hendley were widely available. 🌹Xo Sam
FYI for other watchers: lucky scent has a good amount of the brands mentioned in this video. 😏
Thank you, Laura! 🌹Xo Sam
I would add Manuel Cross - Rogue Perfumery!!
Yes! Amazing stuff, that Rogue 🌹Xo Sam
All amazing houses 💕💕💕💕 Serge Lutens is my absolute favorite 💕💕💕💕
Thanks, Sarah. That is fantastic to hear - I love S.L. so much 🌹Xo Sam
Who doesnt love Serge Lutens? So wonderful brand.... I agree 💚
Love Love Serge Lutens!!!! ❤️ I will always buy!
Thank you! Love them too 🌹Xo Sam
Love your list Sam! Can't get enough of Naomi Goodsir 🙏
Thank you, friend 🌹
I'm very guilty of not trying enough Serge L but a dirty jasmine I need to get my nose on.
HdP I have enjoyed what I've tried from them and same with Nilolai, some really beautiful ones.
Criminally underrated two of my faves April Aromatics and One Way Bridge. I don't know if Maison Violet fits but I know you've spoken about them.
Fab video mate
Thanks for sharing, Jon. I haven't tried April, and One Way Bridge I may have a sample set laying around. Will get to them ASAP. 🌹Xo Sam
@@MyWorldofFragrance really beautiful and not the usual generic. Maybe more my style but u may enjoy them 😊
I love Serge Lutens!!!
Oops, correction- Ruth Mastenbroek
Hurray! S.L. has die-hard fans (including myself).
Thank you so much for sharing. Lovely to hear what you think of them 🌹Xo Sam
thank you Sam, great video. i've been enjoying lately olfactive studio's perfumes.
Ah, great brand 🌹Xo Sam
Thanks. Loved your video. I also find The Zoo and Imaginary Authors not so much talked and very creative perfume brands. ❤
You're right. They are very creative brands. Thanks for watching 🌹Xo Sam
Another one is Maria Candida Gentile! Recommend Sideris if you like incense.
Great vid nice to hear about other brands than what we always hear about
I'm glad you agree, my friend 🌹Xo Sam
Thank you for this wonderful review.
I have discovered recently Ormonde Jayne and I am loving Ormonde woman and Frangipani. What do you think about the brand or their perfumes ? Thank you
@@soniasobaro9127 hello Sonia! I love Ormonde Jayne Woman too! OJ seems to have this rice pudding like accord that I have found very soothing and classy.
@@Sweet_N_Sour_Princess rice pudding accord. That sounds delicious too haha
Thank you, Sonia. Really great suggestions from Parfum D'Empire 🌹Xo Sam
I love the core collection from Ormonde Jayne 🌹Xo Sam
Jorum is a bit pricey because they are 30mls for about $110 but I really enjoy them as well, they might be cheaper over there.
I love Goutal perfumes. I’ve yet to come across one Goutal perfume that I don’t like(the worst ones are only too weak and short lasting on me they don’t smell bad)P.s Your fashion is always so on point!Love this shirt and your hairstyle.
Thank you, I do agree. Aw thanks, very kind of you. I try my best 🌹Xo Sam
Love this video !
Hi Sam !! I am so happy to be your first comment for once and for the subject of this upload. 🤓
Ah, thank you Herakleia! Nice to see you here 🌹Xo Sam
Thanks for the video!
I subscribed to your channel at minute two of this video. 🙂
I especially appreciated your way of talking and explaining about each of the perfumes and the creators!
Maria
