      @@eadad4371 Alright so generally, investing requires higher knowledge. For this reason, It's important to have a solid support structure (financial consultant) to guide you through especially in asset picking. I operate with (REGINA LOUISE COLLARO) an investment advisor who partners with a licensed wealth management firm. For the record, the experience has been the best for my finance. She is quite popular for her services so you might have heard of her.
      She made me financially stable investing through her help, now I earn on a monthly basis through her passive income strategy...So I’ll advise you do get a good Investment advisor for yourself.

    I have been a RN for 27 years and am in the process of starting a side business as a nurse coach to help nurses figure out their direction in the career. My first step is to have business cards made, and then spread my networking wings.

    I was a part time clinical instructor while I was working as an RN and in the middle of NP school. It was the best, most fun job of my life. I still dream about teaching.

      Life of a Psych NP I’m not ready to make teaching my full time career. I actually got hired as full time faculty for West Coast University at one time, but I turned it down. I wanted more clinical experience first. When I am about 5 years away from retiring I plan on going to teaching full time.

    Hi! I have been watching your videos to inform myself more on this specific nursing route:), I recently graduated High school and I'm starting my first year of college, i plan on getting my BSN. One thing i am very passionate about is psychology so becoming a Psych NP is my goal. What would you recommend to do in order to start preparing/ gaining experience as a student?

    • @LifeofaPsychNP
      @LifeofaPsychNP  4 года назад +2

      Hi Jasmine! Thank you so much for the support! Congrats on graduating high school. I think the biggest thing is focusing on pre-reqs for nursing school. That's gonna be the deciding factor that will set you apart. I also, would recommend, volunteering within a regular hospital or mental health clinic as a student. This will help prepare your for understanding what it's like to be a nurse. Once in nursing school, volunteer at the mental health clinic or unit to see the flow of things and helping mental health patients. Best of luck. Keep me updated

      I think becoming a CNA! All my friends that were CNA s did amazing in school and really progressed as nurses. Mental health has its own algorithm, I guess you can say. I was a cop for 26 years with specialization in crisis prevention and have processed over 1,000 Baker Act patients. I currently work for two hospitals, one critical care and one Orthopedic. There is so much to learn but I spend a lot of time working on my patients anxiety as I pass there meds. I start psych NP school next month and cant wait to try to keep my patients motivated with their mental health. So many people need a good support system and it’s rewarding to gain their trust and help them live their best life. Good luck!
