The Wildcats '63-'67 are among some of the best faces of the '60s and great combos of performance, luxury and status. The '66 Chrysler 300 shamelessly took the face of the '64 Wildcat.

When I was in my early teen, my best friend's mother had a very pedestrian 65 wildcat hardtop white on white on white. My buddy use to get the keys and pull it out sometimes, come pick me up and we would go into downtown San Antonio. It was too much car for him to drive at 13 yo but, we had fun until he got caught one night. I later had the same setup in a 71 olds Delta 88.; 455 with 4 BL and auto trans.

Second, Air Cleaner element exposed to rain and etc. I don't think it is OE. After all, what is the point of the Air Cleaner housing snorkles if the element is exposed?

Only if i Knew then what i know Now, i would have saved them. There's other ways, look at the intake at the front of the engine, the distributor is at the rear, the newer style engine (1967) has the distributor at the front. However I have seen a nail head with the distributor in the front. At the front of the engine There's a valley pan cover for the lifters, the new engdidnt have that, the intake covers the lifter area. One good thing about the 65, all GM divisions started using the 3 speed automatic. A big improvement over the dynoflow (2) speed. I have owned several Buicks a 56, 61, two 66, a special, with the V6 it did have a 2 speed transmission and a Electra 225. It had the 401, and 3 speed. I like Buicks, today However they seem to be chevys with Buick name tags.
Sir I'm not trying to argue with you, just pointing out a few facts. I have motor repair manuals for cars from 1940,through 1980. Having owned some older vehicles, they came in very helpful. A 1950 Ford F2 pickup 239 cubic V8 Flathead. Took the engine to a machine shop and my manual it was a big help for the machine shop to machine the block, and valve work. The F2 was a 3/4 ton truck 4 speed transmission (crash box, no synchronizer) good truck, could haul a lot of weight. I put a load of rock on it and I had 1 and a half tons of rock. That thing pulled it with no problems. Sorry this is so long I got carried away. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving sir
