I’m not sure it’s disrespectful but it prob be a good a idea to learn “polish guys” name hahaha. Idk it either but probably easy to find on IM tracker. Great work Rudy! Been following you from early on.
Amazing performance, very well done and many congrats! Those last couple of miles must have been epic, I can't believe you were able to push it a bit more and seal the victory. Good luck in Ibiza and see you in Nice!
It didn’t really change anything for me, and honestly even during the race I couldn’t figure out if it was annoying or helpful to have someone run close to me
Google "Nike large water bottle belt" i can see the Nike logo on the video so assume it's that one. I personally own two salomon active belts and use for marathon and ultra trail marathons but yeah
Yeah my bad. But everyone constantly talking about the Norwegians and that’s ok? Nothing disrespectful with referring to someone with his nationality though.
@@RVBthebison people use the term Norwegians in a different context, and I am sure you understand the difference. Anyway, congrats again and good luck next week!
Rudolph the red nose reindeer was looking to be in the clear but he was leading the pack while Joe Sipper was looking for his slipper a little back that’s alright we won’t belittle cause he can play the fiddle! Rudy rootin tootin Von Berg is shootin for the moon like Lindsay Vonn question is can he be like her!
I don't really buy the story of the polish guy (that he couldn't contribute to pulling because of some lost nutrition)... how did he ran so good marathon then?
Congratz Meister Rudy Von Burg, I can see both you and that wonder kid Matthew Marquardt representing Team USA at Collins Cup! No doubt, If Captian Pick is not Matthew Marquardt, that will be a crying shame!! What was the "SOF" of Woodlands event? I think it was not that high? Your thoughts? He was low on Nutrition, he lost his bottles, don't hate on him for only taking one pull. You said great Watts, what were your watts? If they were 27 more than in Kona? Being trained by Mikal Iden and their approach to long distance, do you believe this was the deciding factor in you doing well at the Woodlands? But the question is: Do you have the "SPEED" to compete at EEBEEtha, Espana on 06May2023? GG!
Yes for Matthew even though the 100km distance is a little different! It was 80.5 SOF. So high but not the highest. Skipper and Hanson were two top dogs. Not sure either of them could have caught me. Hard to say but they had a lot of ground to catch up. I avg’d 297W. I had a good build, consistent training, that was the key. I’ll have to see if I’m recovered by Ibiza time. And need to train a little too!
@@RVBthebison awesome, thanks for that info, yeah no doubt that there would not have been a snowball chance in hell that either Joe S. or Mat H. would have caught you and for that matter the top three of you would have been caught by Joe or Mat. Its unfortunate all triathletes are not great or equal at all three disciplines, then you would have many close races. I truly believe like Liaonl S. and Sam L, did not want to do Ibiza because simply they would not have a chance to do well because of their respective POOR swims. And since they are already "maxed" out physiologically and technique wise, they will never be in contention for the big wins when everyone who is somebody is racing as well. So for them to go to St. George instead of Ibiza its just a copout since they know deep down in their soul that they would not a chance in Ibiza. All the Best in Ibiza.
After recent news you really appreciate a genuinely strong and humble performance like this. Inspiring! Best wishes for the future 🤘
Thank you 🙏🏼!
Awesome effort! Don't play it down, you pushed it and gave it your all! Congrats on the win!
So cool to see that you nailed the last half of the marathon. Congratulations from Norway.
Was awesome to watch live! Congrats Rudy! I just snagged a WC age group slot so hope to see you in Nice💪🏼

So awesome bro!!! Massive congratulations 🍾
Well done, Rudy. The name of "Polish guy" is Robert.
Yeah such a good recap Rudy!! just got sick of hearing Polish guy 😂
@@kylelierich it's because he didn't remember his uncommon name: Robert!!!😂😂😂

Great race, but just FYI the name of the "Polish guy" is Robert.
Robert Wilkowiecki
So everyone is okay calling Gustav and Kristian the Norwegians but not a Polish guy Polish? Just want to make sure where we are drawing the line.
Ha good point!
Word up Chris!
great stuff rudy!!!
An amazing race! Exciting run and you pushed through like a champ, nice one! What is that belt you're wearing during the race for the bottle?
When the Age Grouper was running with you for the longest time, how did you feel that impacted your race? It was amazing to watch on TV.
It didn’t really change anything for me, and honestly even during the race I couldn’t figure out if it was annoying or helpful to have someone run close to me
Love this!! great job! You were flying at the end there. Was heat a factor at all?
Yeah it was 79 degrees and 84% humidity so fairly hot
congratulations
Congrets Rudy:) What kind of running belt and bottle your are using?
You killed it Rudy!! Love watching all your adventure content on IG and RUclips.
May I ask what water bottle belt you were using during the run?
Google "Nike large water bottle belt" i can see the Nike logo on the video so assume it's that one. I personally own two salomon active belts and use for marathon and ultra trail marathons but yeah
Yeah just a nike bottle from amazon
Congrats, Rudy!
Please learn the names of your competitors - hearing “Polish guy” 50 times made it sound very disrespectful.

Exactly what I’m saying… guess he was worried he wouldn’t feel good but then did
@@RVBthebison Likely his Polish mindset! A strong one obviously!!

Does anyone who does run bike and swim believe that running helps pure cyclists?
Ask Cam wurf
Probably better just to bike I'd think if you're a cyclist
