Hey guys, can you tell whether 2*420 rads can fit front and top of the 7 XL? If yes, which thickness considering the 25 mm thick fans. Thanks a lot for your kind reply
Fractal's site has good manuals that you can download to see the different mounting options available in their cases. Good for seeing if a case will fit what you need before buying.
Big boy Threadripper build, you say?? I just happen to have one in mind! I was gonna try to build one in a R6. This is great! Side note, fractals website is getting slammed right now lol. Great job, Wendall and Eposvox!
And thought that a Big Boy Threadripper build would be a ITX build.
My pet peeves why does all the case manufactures not line the 24 pin motherboard connector up with a hole in the case? So they all have a twist to them drives me nuts! Overall seems like a nice case. Optical drive back is a nice bonus to have anymore. I still buy Blu-ray to watch through my computer to my TV.
Nice case!
Would it be possible to do a push pull config with a Corsair h115i pro xt? (4x 140mm fan total) with a 5.25' bay? Thank you guys.
One thing i noticed is there's no clear shot of the front with the door open
Do you think if someone used EK's slim radiators they could clear the drive?
Question regarding build I’m planning: Is the define 7 big enough for a 3090 + eatx (Asus Crosshair Extreme) build? Or should I be looking at the XL?
FINALLY NEW XL
*Whistles and pushes away my odd drive*
Does the case also include the Sunkist?🤔
If I want to mount an AIO at the top, can I still use the solid top cover or will I have to use the top with ventilation?
Mounting an AIO at the top really requires the ventilated top.. otherwise where will it get/expel air from?
That antec looks siccc
Just got my 7 xl :) How did you guys add the castors?
I 3d printed the adapter. Model is on the forums
I love your content, but you need a set mic!! Please??
I don't think I will ever move on from my Define S.
where can i find the wheels?
Any office chair wheels. Amazon has lots to order
11:25 was it XL or the regular one?
Fuh I need this for my 2990wx Server/Workstation to replace my 750D
5 1/4" bay for my 8x sata ssd hot swap dock
room for 18 HDDS
Do most boards even have two 3.0 ports? IMO 2 of each is the best choice to ensure the end user can at least use them all since most boards should have one 3.0 and one 2.0 no problem.
Could've been nice to see a slim 5.25" bay, probably shucked in vertically in the side.
That Sunkist lol!
Can't wait for the meshify version though. like what the meshify s2 is to the r6...
Can a 2 x 5.25 bay backplane fit in the XL okay?
They even thought of the reset button? Nice!
for the right price i would sell my caselabs th10-- you need an suv to move it...i holds 16 3.5 or 32 2.5 drives and 5 480mm radiators, yes 5 or put in anywhere from 0-14 optical bays and it will hold up to 25 120mm fans., 2 power supplies etc etc...needless to say I have not filled it up
Content 10/10
Audio 7/10
but stil a grat video
Sony cough up The Wall tv I want a review of it!
not seeing where i can buy this case
Im planning on buying some Alphacool AIO Eisbaer stuff, speaking of QL watercooling. Check out the Eiswolf GPX for the reference 5700 XT? Eh? Bah ill just get the Eisbaer and a custom GPU block lol
Airflow is far from good, but that is about the worst i can say and that is not a complaint as such.
Still going to get the XL when it comes on sale.
I didn't think I'd be an xl fan but WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLSSSSS :D
@@Level1Techs The 16 bay option in XL is the main reason for me, i have waited a long time for a case that would rival Lian Li storage bays.
I just dark temperd glass Define 7 XL to Replace my R6
YES! I'm excited :)
I need that hoodie! No I will not fix your computer! No I will not explain Linux to you! The password is 3Dfx!
corsair 900D. I've built in a 750D and that case screams I need water cooling.
2.5in bays, no need, double sided tape is your friend.
It sucks that an 18 HDD case only comes with a tray for 6HDD and you have to spend as much as the case cost to get the rest of the trays.
Wendell. the mic!
All I need is this case, a ridiculously expensive mother board, and a thread ripper processor that makes absolutely no sense at all for my purposes! Well, guess I better start saving up!
the top of the 7 comes off completely I mean the to rail system with the radiator mount not the top cover not sure about the XL
Where can i buy the 3,5 HDD mouting kid?
Greetings to the lady with black hat
Tisk tisk, no EposVox in the description.
i have that bluray drive :D
