Dear sir,
We forgot about the vetiver plant. Vetiver pure Tamil name But this plant used by other countries like China and Australia for land erosion arrest purpose. Bangalore Central institute of aromatic and medical research centre have the variety of Dharani and Gulabi variety.
One of the dairy company using this plant for sewage water treatment purpose and pollution control purpose.
Vetiver is excellent grass land erosion arrest.
It is absorb the salt and heavy metal from the water and soil.
Kindly refer the vetiver scientist Mr. Paul truong articles.

Vetiver will work in a slope gentler than this slope especially when it is a geotechnically stable slope .. The stakeholders who involved in this project is well aware of vetiver and it is being used where it is suitable .. But for this slope , hydroseeding is the best option
