I will say dry thrust is 50kn, and wet thrust will be 90kn. Orignal kaveri had a very low bypass ratio of .17 . So with improved fan and increased bypass ratio it will easily reach 90 kn with new afterburner.
Twin Kaveri = ORCA. But IAF has not agreed that it should be developed. Maybe twin Kaveri could end up on TEDBF. GE F414 generates 98 KN but that is as measured in a cooler environment. Subtract 10 KN from that number and its still 88 KN .... which is +8 KN above Kaveri. Some reduction in overall thrust can be traded for strategic autonomy in engine production. Foreign taps will be turned during times of war so an indigenous engine is almost a necesscity at this point.
This job should be given to HAL, Godrej, Bharat forge , GTRE, Bhel and few other companies . Govt should fund the development with Brahmos , The best one chosen and fitted on the engine
