      +GingerNinjaTrickster Reminds me of Bill super foot Wallace, the famous world champion kickboxer. He is known for his insane leg control and could use one leg cocked up as a defense then hit you 2 or 3 times before putting his foot down.

      Mcgregor cant touch this guy.Its not hard to understand that Conor would be down in seconds if Aron fought for real.All of you that compairing all the time needs to understand something.This is tae kwon do at an extremely high level with clean,perfect technics with an amazing control and speed.Aron is a natural and he seems to be a werry nice and intelligent guy.Conor is not and dosent have this mans natural talent and beautiful,humble spirit.He isent even close to Aron in any way.I think Mcgregor is good at what he does but to compair him witn GNT is just ridiculous.

Btw, just by kicking a lot can make stretch out and hold ur legs in the air? Normal people like me can't do that, my hips will fall so quickly, do u have any idea how to strengthen the hips? :))

    • @LeoFontoura
      @LeoFontoura 6 лет назад

      I will give my opinion. Nowadays almost all academies in my country are WTF and teaches only olympic taekwondo (sport), not martial art. I started when I was 12 years old in WTF, but my GM, although is WTF, teaches traditional TKD, because he learned directly with the GM that brought TKD to here in 1970 (WTF was founded in 1973).
      Here is hard to find academies that teaches ITF.
      So, in my opinion it depends what is your goal and the place that will teaches TKD WTF.
      Like I said, although I am in WTF, my GM teaches traditional TKD. So you can try to find an academy that do the same with WTF, not teaching only olympic sport.

    Hey GNT,
    You may have seen me comment on another video two of yours. (I don't really expect you to remember lol). But I have a couple of questions that I think you could answer with your knowledge as an ITF School Black Belt:
    Do you think World Taekwondo Federation belts would carry over into ITF Schools?
    Do you think being overweight will hinder you in developing more advanced kicks? (I'm about 30-35 pounds over weight. I can do moves like the 360 Roundhouse and 360 Hook somewhat easily, but I find myself struggling to learn other advanced techniques)
    And finally, if one has mastered all of the techniques required for a belt 'early' must he wait until a scheduled belt test or will the student be tested when he/she appears ready to the instructor?
    I know that's a lot but thanks!!

    • @GingerNinjaTrickster
      @GingerNinjaTrickster  9 лет назад +1

      Patrick Martinez Hey, probably not due to the differences (patterns, etc). Depends on the person and there ability/mentality. They should yes. It's about time dedicated and experience, not just ability. Good luck :)

    Maybe you should try out for some serious competitions because you were doing very well against the former world champion which is a good sign of your skills. I am sure without even training your skills further you could win many competitions easily.

      ***** I would if I could dedicate time to train. I'm an all or nothing person so if I went down that route, I wouldn't focus on anything else. If I couldn't do that (which I can't at the moment) there is no point in my mind.

    I have noticed that Aaron's kicks and Hailey's (and a lot of others) kicks seem to differ in the way that they have there weight positioned. Aaron keeps his core and his weight aiming towards the target where others tend to throw out a hand behind them or lean back slightly as a counter balance to there kick. Does my observation have any merit or am I not seeing things correctly?

      Jordan Maisey You are quite correct :)

    • @MrMaisey61

      GingerNinjaTrickster I assume that is for more power and control of the kicks?

      Amanda Rogers It was here choice to spar that way. I had gear if she wanted it but I think she spars with just that equipment anyway. I'm glad you do :)

    Hey ginger ninja i weigh 130 and i wondering if i should try to gain weight? I do calisthenics but to gain weight i know i will have to start pumping iron and drinking protein shakes ect. Do you think my size would be such a disadvantage with a bigger opponent to the point where skill wouldn't help much or at all?
