Before you guys all say why are the hands down. I was going mainly for kicks and it's playful. The hands don't need to be up when one, we are not trying to kill each other and two, when we are out of range of the hands and have time to lift them to block the legs. Anyways, i hope you enjoyed the video :)

Man those rules make it so much more interesting than the ones used in championships! Much more realistic, more points to punches, still a premium for cool spinning and jumping kicks. Great video, keep it up!

This is quite a cool concept for the dojang. It brings about an element of competition without the need to spar with people in your club full contact as if it were real. Good practice for a competition since you're fighting to qualify to other rounds.

Ginger, you look like you know your stuff. There is one thing I'd like to say about women learning to fight from a man. The issue is that in learning to fight from a male, you pick up the way to fight like a man. And you are a woman, not a man and you probably would benefit by fighting like a girl. Most of your muscle mass is in your legs and hips, and it makes sense to me to use a lot of kicks and grappling in your fights. Whether you fight a man or a woman. And rather than punch, if you close the distance even more, you can use some pretty devastating elbows. Unless you're Holly Holm, your elbows are your stronger weapons, so.

Flozz work on your footwork, being able to move in and out of the range of taller fighters. Once inside their range they have to move back or round to counter.

Thowing a spinning heel in this type of fun free spar is scary, I don't care how confident and controlled you are (or think you are), if a proper spinning heel lands you can seriously hurt someone especially without a head and mouth gaurd.
