This was an Israeli design. Unlike all the failing plants using 'old' technology, this plant produces potable water at 1cent/gal and has a O carbon imprint.
Hopefully someday the US and Mexico can make a deal to create hydro powered desalination along the canyons of Baja. 3 times larger than Hoover Dam. Multiple Dams.
@@kylecalderon5680 The governor of AZ has set aside about 5 billion dollars over the next 3 years to build a desalination plant with the Mexican government in Sonora. The plan is to draw sea water from the Sea of Cortez to help offset some of the loss portion of Colorado River water for Arizona. The governor of Nevada has voiced some interest in this venture as well.

Could you please advise material of construction for Pretreatment, SWRO and post treatment sections?
Hopefully, by desalination, we can overcome the drought problems we are facing and just deal with the heat situation.
