I like how you repurpose and use thrifted items. After we use our toaster, blender and coffee maker in the morning, we put it away in a cupboard. It's a quick way to have the counters look clutter free all day. We use the flour sack cloths from Walmart as dish towels and bread cover towels. They are absorbent but dry quickly.

I love your point on making everyday things pretty. And functional. I do struggle with “but I might need it someday”, so you’ve given me something to think on in the “managing stuff” department.
Since you have embarked on a less coffee lifestyle (yay for me, I’m not a coffee drinker), I’d love you to share what is bringing you joy in that area - especially the drink you had at the end.
What a great video with some simple tips for organizing your home. I agree with having a few items that you really love and use than a bunch of stuff with no purpose.

Thanks for the tips Adaline. I, too, am trying to minimize what I buy and store in my home. Too much of anything just makes it hard to keep track of and find what you do have. Your plants look beautiful by the way.

Your cabinets are so neat and decluttered but I could not do away with so much. Example...I like tea and coffee. We have the occasional guest or 2 so I need extra glasses and plates. I have purged quite a bit and after seeing this video I will revisit all my cabinets in hopes they can be corralled in some lovely containers like yours. It's always a joy to see your videos!!!!💞

I am so relieved to see your cupboards looking beautiful and functional without labelling with your Cricut. I like to think I'm an intelligent person but I found the Cricut Joy App way too clunky, limiting and non instinctive for a first time user but the main Cricut App was too complex and impenetrable for a beginner. The materials are expensive and they just seem want money money money for extra fonts or designs etc. Sadly I don't have the time or inclination to go on a learning curve with it so I'm about to ebay it. Kicking myself for wasting money on it, so it's lovely to see you using much more attainable, easy to use label makers or hand written basket clips and still getting a great looking result! 👍 I'm going back to using my Brother P-Touch label maker and I'm going to try some of the chalk board labels too. Thanks for the ideas!
A quick tip for you use the regular Cricut app! Much easier to use than the Cricut joy app!

We just switched out a rectangular table to a circular one too. It just configures better!
I label non obvious things like powdered sugar vs flour but couldn't bring myself to label pop corn : ) Thought I needed a cricut but glad to see others don't use always. Nice job

Because I have multiple bathrooms and grab everything to clean from there.
