Adeline, take it from an older woman (me). Treasure the “longer time” it takes to do projects with your daughter(s) involved. When you’re daughter(s) are older you will miss the times you did projects together. I personally enjoy seeing them wanting to do projects with you. You are investing time in them teaching them things they will need in their lives as adults. You are a fantastic mom. I’m pretty sure you learned these lessons/things from your mom. She’s also a awesome mom. She’s so sweet and do enjoy seeing her occasionally when she joins you in a video. God bless you Ms Adaline keep up the awesome videos in your daily lives.

Finally someone that organises the fridge not just to make it look good but also based on temperature level in the different compartments. Dairy and eggs should not be kept in the door shelves. Love that your system makes sense
She will have those memories of helping you forever, some of my favourite memories from being a child was helping my mum. She will learn loads of skills too xx
This really looks good. Prolong the shelf life of your foodies by having a moisture absorber inside your refrigerator and pantry. ☺

I have done strawberry in the jar they last longer but your not supposed to wash them until you take them out to eat and I have done celery it will really last a long time as long as you remember to change the water didn't know you could do cucumbers I can't wait to try this !!
Same with blueberries, the white coating should stay there until u eat them, rinse right beforehand. Blueberry farmers tell you that!

We know you love your home, cooking, etc. when you were excited about your huge refrigerator😊 when my grandchildren were small and they slept over they always help me around the house. I use jars for my berries. I find, though, if they aren't dry when I put them in jars, they don't last long. Love your organization!
I have heard that also to make sure that they are very dry or they will go bad quickly. So after washing place on paper towel and make sure they are super dry before you put them in the jars.
People are talking about the taste aswell. The berries still look good but taste different. Someone commented there that it was a fermentation process starting. I just keep things like berries in the box in the fridge. They have no time to go bad in my house. Cucumber in a jar with water? I just put some wrap on the cut end en use it up in no time. Celery and carrots are 'harder' so I guess you can do the keeping in water thing. But then again things I buy get used up in a reasonable time and if not I'll blanch if needed and put in the freezer.
@@elysiana8889I always do unwashed berries in jars. Sometimes they are gone in a day and sometimes they last for over a week. With my kids you just never know. Lol Mostly everything else lasts pretty well in my drawer or container they come in. ❤
My mom always kept our celery and carrots in water too

Keeping produce in glass jars has definitely increased the longevity and freshness. However, there is no need to purchase jars. I simply save all my glass jars from other grocery purchases.
Never wash your berries before putting them away. It promotes the growth of mold faster. Just put them in right from the market, rinse as you eat. Your fridge looks great ❤

I recently purchased that same fridge (in stainless) and absolutely love it!!! I am going to purchase the deli drawer dividers as in this video. I do like being able to organize that drawer better. I do love the labels for the door shelves. When family comes to eat, they always place things on the wrong shelves. This will keep me from having to go back in to reorganize. Great video.
I keep our Strawberries, grapes and other berries in glass! I go on and prep and cut it all and it still last all week long! I tested one jar just to see how long I could keep them in there. They lose their flavor at 3 weeks lol heads up!

She has a drawer under the fruit and veggies for lunch meat/cheeses.
I organize my deli meat in a bin like she put her yogurt in and then cheese in a separate bin. I have a side by side fridge/freezer I can fit 3 bins across I like that I can pull out the bin and things don't get lost in the back of the fridge.

I find the berries last longer in jars, however we do not clean them until we are ready to eat them. I am eager to see how long your clean berries last in the jars.
Same here! I have been doing it for berries the last 3 or so years, and I wash as I eat them. I have found lately, my blueberries have been lasting 2 weeks, if they make it that long!
I also store carrots and celery in water in jars and it lasts a really long time

I've found that my apples 🍎🍏 stay fresh longer in the fridge (instead of the countertop)
I watch planting birches channel. She says not to wash the fruits and vegetables keep them dry and that’s how they last. I hope your way works but if it doesn’t, you might want to try the dry method.

Makes me realize I need to blank slate my fridge! I have over 10 jars I never touch or have used. Also I can’t find things at back. My parents bought the fridge for this house. I don’t like it and never would have bought this fridge but it was cheapest. It has awkward bad shelf placement
Tomatoes should be stored on the countertop.
How do you keep the cheese from molding my daughter can eat cheese but when it molds she can't she is allergic to it. So me and my husband will trim it and eat whats left and buy another for her to eat so we buy the small blocks also but one at a time

@ashaeerie Farmers tell you not to wash until ready to eat, when ever I go picking.

Heyyy ☺️ I would suggest a Cricut Joy if you are mainly going to use it for labeling. If your going to try to cut larger projects then you could look into the larger machines.
