Jumbo Seafood used to be an outdoor dining restaurant by the beach on the East Coast of Singapore. They got classy and started setting up indoor air conditioned restaurants and unfortunately they jacked up their prices by some 30 to 40%. But their chilli and black pepper crab is still pretty tasty
So they used to be like Tai Pai Ton.. typically old school Chinese restaurant.. I love those.. yes! The crab is really tasty. I feel like when restaurant move to classier setting their taste changed. I am glad Jumbo crab stay the same. 🤤
Oh yeah!! I saw my neighbor had it. Tien and I kinda don’t like the Ketchup sauce style that’s why we decided to get the pepper crab. No regret because it was so good.
I don’t remember how many month we been traveling this year. We usually gone almost all summer and gone every other month throughout the year. . We are home now and will be leaving for another trip in 2 weeks.
Omg!! I wanted to try both but we couldn’t finish it because just Tien and I eating them. We didn’t want to waste food. I am kinda kicking myself in the butt 🤦♀️ I would fly to Singapore just to eat their crab. 🤤
Looks like you ordered the black pepper crab and not the chilli crab. The chilli crab is what jumbo is more known for...its gravy is rich you will be given freshly bake rolls to dip into the gravy to eat. I am guessing you avoided the chilli crab in case the kids can't handle the spiciness of the chilli crab and it's gravy. Actually it is not super spicy. It's orangy color is largely tomato based
Yes! We didn’t order the chili grab because I want my kids to try it too. We live for our kids these days 😅 also, we asked the staff and they recommended black pepper grab for our family ☺️
OMG you guys!! Please do yourself a favor try the Singapore crab when you are there!! So freaking delicious.. ❤❤❤ we miss it so much..

Try rojak 😅😅😅only in singapore
Kids might like Chili Crab better. the one at jumbo is practically ketchup sauce. combined with fried bun to dip in the sauce

Pepper > Chilli in my opinion
How many months have yall been traveling this year?
Have yall been back home yet?
If yes, how long did yall stay at home before traveling again?

if you get a chance, should try "Chilli Crap" instead, which is even more popular in Singapore
