What camaraderie these guys have, the golden days of Indian cricket 2001 to 2011
Started with Very very special 281 and ended with the World Cup win at Wankhede, 2011.

Absolutely. The current Indian team also seems like a cohesive unit, but the team between 2001 and 2011 had that magic and that bond that will never be matched.

That team from 1998-2008 under Dada, Dravid and Kumble was way ahead of
the league...that team played together and lived together...Sachin,
Dravid, Kumble, Dada, Srinath, Zaheer, Viru, Harbhajan, Nehra, Yuvi,
Dhoni (not the captain)...The warmth was visible...these lads truly changed the face of Indian
    cricket...the best days of Indian cricket...specially overseas...and
nobody is as capable and gracious enough as Harsha Bhogle
    hosting/discussing Indian cricket

2003 is my favourite world cup. Every team had exciting world class players, matches were unpredictable, ball & bat both were balanced unlike now. ( pepsi, coco cola and mentos ad during break were very nostalgic) 1999-2005 had to the golden era for any team in terms of consistency.

Harsha gets so involved that he forgets he is cutting the narrator. He is just trying to figure out how I can jump in. VVS was narrating his doctor's incidence and Harsha interrupted VVS/Sachin multiple times. Realize that people are not interested in hearing you but your guest. BTW this habit is quite common to him and not just limited to this interview. Once you realize that it becomes quite frustrating to watch the interview or listen to his cricket commentary :-(

VVS was inconsistent. Whenever he went out to bat, we only had low expectations. One in 4 chances that he'll help make the situation better when he walks back. He wouldn't bowl nor was a he a great fielder, so he should've been batted better than he did.
