As a kid with an emotionally absent father, Silver was a character I latched onto so hard. I still cry when he gives Jim that speech about having the makings of greatness and hoping he can be there to see him shine.
I warched this movie for the first time with my boyfriend a few months ago. My fatherless ass connected so much to this movie. Silver's speech about the makings of greatness really hit me so hard in the feels.
Never was big on most of the 2000s animated films that came out when I was growing up, but I'd love to see you do a video on how "Kingdom of the Sun" became "The Emperor's New Groove."
I always love your videos! Thank you! One suggestion: define your terms better before you begin the discussion. I had to gather what a good villan was thorughout the video rather than knowing up front.
I love this movie so much!! One of my favorite Disney films, even though I thought I was too cool to watch it when it came out 😅 You've also just given me an idea to turn a character who has been a paragon mentor into a good villain and make him way more complicated and interesting, so thank you!!!
very very helpful, loved the video!! silver was like the parents i never had and he will always be very dear to my heart i cried multiple times during the movie, still watch it every few years and i hate how disney made it "fail" on purpose
I recently watched this movie for the first time and was blown away. I knew a little about it, so I was interested to see how the story of John Silver would go. It was great. I loved the whole film. In fact, it's my second-favorite Disney movie. I guess that's what happens when you get the same directors/writers as Aladdin.
Grew up watching Treasure Planet. Thanks for highlightning the great writing, never would have thought of that myself. Also just a thought about the editing, it is too many cuts to other media, it seems like it is edited for younger people who watches tiktok when the people watching are a bit older and just find the hectic editing annoying. Anyway you can ignore me if it works for you, just sharing my thoughts.
Why’d you have to put in a clip from Sausage Party, of all movies? There are certain movies that should never have even made it to theaters, and Sausage Party is one of them. I’m still traumatized by the ending scene!!!

Take care🫂💖
You deserve to feel loved
I forgot how good this movie is, even today. And it still baffles me to see that it doesn't get more recognition than it does

Thank you for the video! I am writing the main villain for a story of mine and your video changed my opinion about how I should write him.

Thank you for the writing tips as always🔥 I’d love to watch that movie so much!!
Damn... I should rewatch this film, I was too young when I did to remember it properly
Glad to be in your first 500 views!
My childhood. 😢
In the end John decided the true treasure was his bond with Jim and no amount of gold was worth giving that up

Amazing amazing film, with some flaws but I love it
Nice
Please do a rattlesnake jake video from rango please!!!
Scroop feels more like like the villain bruh……
He’s the main villain but Silver is also a villain
Silver is an antagonist..not really a villain@@matityaloran9157
um.... sorry but i have to correct you on something. Arrow is not the captain of the ship, he's the first mate
It's funny because Arrow's introduction is basically a gag specifically about him not being the captain
