4:30 in shooting the drake and let the hen fly away shows how mature hunters y’all are! Most folks would have not held back on her. Congrats on the great hunt.
If they don’t go back to 3 dux 30 days nationwide for 10 yrs we may never see it again. 3 dux per man is plenty. And it’s BROKEN, we gotta try something
Bought a duck commander hunting coat back in the 90s before I knew who they were. It has tape. Glue. Tire patch on it. Finally it won’t shed water. Man if I had one more of those it would last me the rest of my life. Cool video by the way. Love it.
Man what I would do to go on one hunt with you guys. All we have is wood duck, and beleive me I am not complaining bc we love them they are beautiful and taste better than they look. BUTTT,,, I would like to go some where where you have the amount of ducks that was on your trail camera video. I have never seen that many ducks at one time. Yall definitely got it going on. God bless you guys and thank you for putting out this content.
Meanwhile, my brother and I got enough ducks to feed both our families for a year just in the first 2 weeks of duck season here in Arizona. Which very rarely happens.
Just not the same without Uncle Si, Willie and Jase and the other boys. Great job on getting them Birds 🦆, it looks like the honey hole is back in business again. 👍🏼
Totally agree... it's a great video... but seems more like Martin and friends and not Duck Commander. Maybe in a few days we'll get to see how Phil and gang got the strap we saw at the end
I'm a duck dummy but I was wondering where the ducks y'all harvest nest . I'm from north west Florida,a little town called Wewahitchka . I hunted the Apalachicola river , the dead lakes , and the national forest. I never just hunted ducks , although I have friends who really get in to it. But what I seen was mostly wood ducks , and at a certain time of year while running trot lines you see momma ducks with a mess of baby ducks following her around, and she will run off acting like she's cripple trying to draw you away from her biddys . But I heard mr Phil say the ducks y'all are shooting come from Canada. Is that just Mallards ? Or dose all the ducks migrate. The reason I was wondering is as much as y'all love the sport is there any way of creating a nesting area where they will return to or is that something you see on the Disney channel?.
Here in Louisiana, we do have native mottled ducks and wood ducks that stay here year round, as well as black bellied & fulvous whistling ducks that nest here and then migrate south... But the majority of other duck species nest further north and migrate. Some other states have resident duck populations as well, that may or may not migrate depending on where they're located and how severe the weather gets that winter. This is a pretty simple answer to a pretty big question, hope it helps it make a little sense though.

I know this is a terribly nieve question, but in freezing waters, don't the dogs get hypothermia being constantly exposed to frigid water and freezing air temps? Sorry, I know it's a dumb question, just curious is all.
It depends on the breed of dog. I live in the northeast it gets really cold up here durn duck season. Most of the people I know use Chesapeake bay retrievers. We have had Chesapeake bays my whole life and they have always loved the cold weather. Most of our dogs acted like it was a punishment to come in the house when it was cold out.

Gotta love that timber duck hunting and at 10:02 hearing that rifle on the deer just so hard to compare the feeling of them woods to anything else
Other than the music I enjoyed this thanks for putting it together.
Happiest I've seen martin in a while! Let's do the ol marsh drake shuffle! Yes sir 🔥
Watching the original Duck Commander DvDs till now u can just see how much waterfowl hunting has changed
Total Understatement.....but well said!!!!

It sucks today

@voidboy9862 it isn't the seasons or duck numbers. It's refuges, flooded impoundment and lack of migration. Ducks don't need to migrate anymore

Man I wish I could just hunt with Jase and then boys just one time. It is on my bucket list.
Never duck hunted a day in my life but love watching duck commander videos and the robertson clan ? Fishing on the other hand now thats my true love.
You don't know what you're missing! Gotta get out at least once in your life!
Love the timber duck hunting.

Meanwhile, my brother and I got enough ducks to feed both our families for a year just in the first 2 weeks of duck season here in Arizona. Which very rarely happens.

Shout Out Too Honey Hole Out Doors ! Big Dave !🙏From Virginia Jesus Saves ☝️
Phil might want to get his shot gun worked on. Did any one else see the fire come out of the receiver when the bolt opened.
What kind of pintail whistle you using
What gun and ammo you use?
Who’s the curly haired guy with the Sherlock Holmes hat?

What breed is the dog that they have? It doesn't look like a Labrador retriever.
I bet they caught and banded that mallard at Thief Lake wildlife management area.

Nope, their coats are made for it. They have double coats making them waterproof!
@@rylanrussell1514 Thank you for the kind response. 😊
Yes they can especially if they are doing long swims keep em by a heater and use an old jacket to wrap around em when it gets that cold
The best retriever dog I had was a Brittany spaniel.Thank God for neoprene.
