- The top leaders of South Africa's African National Congress said the party will seek to form a government of national unity with opposition groups. The ANC, led by President Cyril Ramaphosa, won marginally more than 40% support in the election, ceding its parliamentary majority for the first time since apartheid ended. Bloomberg's Jennifer Zabasajja reports.

These results are a fair warning to all political parties and candidates not get too comfortable and take the electorate for granted - All Politicians need to focus on enhancing the lives of all South African citizens to maintain their positions in government !
Goverment of National Unity is the best option to get credible partners who can help to build and take the country forward. We cannot have any disruptions and destruction again.
Unity is needed in South Africa. This is just a message that the citizens of this land is too much separated from each other. Politics freedom has brought hatred among the citizens.
The best thing for the Anc work with a government unity and form a government coalition the best thing has happened and its looking too happen it is will bring out the good for south africa and turn in the right direction for south-africa and south Africans for the neath coming months and for future of south africa 🇿🇦

Anc has NO PRINCIPLES! What is he talking about? They must just get out and let a party who wants the best for SA take the reigns.
None of the other parties want what is best for SA dear. The DA is controlled by the West and their policies marginalise the poor. The MK only cares about the Zulu tribe and they want to nationalise. The EFF's policies will collapse the economy within a month, nationalising everything too. The suggestion by the ANC is what is best for our country right now.

This is going to turn into a bun fight. It all seems quite dodgy. It worries me that the average South African citizen will get the short end of the stick
Alot of the senior members of the ANC wants Ramaphosa to step down but its because they are corrupt and know the DA will set things straight.
The only reason the ANC received the highest voting numbers is because the elegible voteing public is as follows : Black elegible voting population is plus minus 30 to 35 Million and white population plus minus 3 million.
