great LP collection brother! i wonder if maybe the pups in the green one arent wax potted? might explain the feedback situation.... my first act ME501 has guitarfetish "PAF59" chrome covered hb in it and the destinys sound just as good to my ears lol! they were running the ITV ILS300 on ebay at a stupid low price and i got a few b4 they "came to theyr senses" haha!!
I bought a IYV IP-350 TBK PRS guitar this month and it is an awesome guitar. I've seen other reviews where people's fingers turned black, but I did not have that problem. I did get new strings within a couple days of me getting it, though.
Paul, I got that IYV last year. There is a series playlist of the work I did on it. Take a look. I have lots of videos on how to fix issues we get on budgets. I don't have any epiphone or Gibson guitars, but a lot of copies.
I just received one and the fretboard and fret bar was all oxidated and had some sticky stuff all over the fretboard. I requested a new one from Amazon. Hopefully i will get a better one.
What song are u playing on 18:52? I have that same IVY guitar, love it. Now if u want a fantastic EPIPHONE with real GIBSON 57 plus pickups already in them. Buy the Epiphone Les Paul 1960 TRIBUNE PLUS. I bought one and it's the best sounding guitar I have ever played.
I bought one of those and it was terrible. The protective plastic was bonded to the pickguard among other problems. I sent it back. All the other cheap guitars I bought off of Amazon were excellent! It's not the tuner that is bad, all these cheap guitars now have good tuners that work fine. The problem is the nut. The strings will get hung up in the nut slot and then your tuner will turn with no resistance and it feels like it's slipping. Sounds like you didn't intonate it or cut the nut slots and the chords don't sound good.
Epiphone is not really a true Les Paul they are made over seas. Only True Les Paul is a Gibson USA made. But Epiphone is the closest to a true Gibson Les Paul. Its like Fender and Squier by fender. I bought one of these IYV LP-300 Emerald green about a year and a half ago good fun LP copy for the $ only problem ive had is the 3way switch going bad. I bought a new replacement at guitar center. I installed it and the guitar sounds even better dont know why but it does lol.
Got a Chibson LP a while ago. $200 free shipping. Perfect paint and frets. A nice guitar.

Ordered one exactly like this one yesterday, Paid around $350 Canadian for it. Arrives tommorow, hope it was worth it.
note about last Epiphone guitar - light weight!!!! and the back of the neck is satin - not sticky
Picked up one for $80 brand new from a pallet discount store. Plays perfectly out of the box

I bought one a couple years ago I had to change the nut because the original was cut to low
I like mine so much I put my squire stratocaster hss away. It's basically a wall hanger now.
