I am slowly buying my way through the entire IYV catalogue. My Vietnamese friends make insanely good guitars for crazy low prices. I had this bad boy on my wishlist. In Canada it was about $400. ToDAY? $215 Canadian dollars. SOLD!
I bought one after reading and seeing so many reviews. My skepticism died right away; it's a truly impressive beauty, so remarkably well made. The first one delivered was cracked during the shipping, but the retailer jumped on it and sent me a new one within days. It feels beautiful, and sounds even better. Kudos to IYV!
I got one of these about 2 years ago and it was good to go right out of the box, didn't even have to tune it. I did eventually swap out the pick ups for P90s but that was just a personal preference. The stock humbuckers are just as good as many of the top of the line brands.

I have 5 iyv guitars, love them all if you aren't expecting perfect, if your willing to do a basic setup and stuff like polishing frets and oiling the fretboard, and particularly if you have Amazon prime so you can return any with a significant flaw. Crazy what you can get for so little money. Wish Amazon stocked more of their models, although I need to not buy anymore guitars also lol.
I’ve hear great things about IYV guitars. I don’t own one but do have Firefly(used) and Harley Benton. It seems most RUclipsrs say they play well out of the box. They are hard to beat considering if you buy them from Amazon there’s no shipping chargers, unlike the others. I just wish they had more variety in colors on the different styles of guitars. But that would drive the price up.
My last guitar was my big sister's abandoned Christmas gift. Fender Squier of some kind I guess? Anyway I was like 16 and I didn't stick with it for long. Just bought an IYV Inyen Vina ILS-300 in "Ocean Blue" for $250 CAD. Gonna try it again on a whim at 37.
Not trying to be rude but all I can hear is that digital polluted sound that I hear from all the modeling amps and computers idk. Just straight into an amp is true tone tube or not idk get tone from a pedal , just idk anything you plugged in would sound pretty close to that with the computer eq everything and modulating the sound
I'm actually having a really hard time deciding between the iyv les paul from Amazon. the harley benton sc450+. I really value your opinion on these matters mr @joemusic and I have seen that you have done videos on both guitars. Which ones did you enjoy the most. Are they "gigworthy"
I think they’re both gig worthy. I would go with the IYV. Mine has better action than the Harley Benton and the Destiny pickups sound great. The Benton would be a good choice too though. Keep Rockin Dude 🤘😎🎸

I am sorry to say one that i got was not a good one. Fret bar was all oxidated and the board had some smelly sticky stuff all over it. I requested a replacement... hope i get a good one.
Gibson's and fenders are full of lemons also. But I'm sure the sick feeling you get in your stomach based on a sub $200 guitar compared to a $1500+ name brand is dramatically less
I got mine about 3 years ago beautiful wood,abalone inlayed headstock (have they stoped this beautiful inlay)? Sweet tone and weather changes x3 years have not produced any adverse changes. My least favorite is the semi hollow Tele it’s head stock heavy but light over all excellent.
Guess I'm going to have to add one of these to the collection. Lol I can't believe how the price of good guitars are now days. Compared to 30 -40 years ago. Lol
I bought the red bcp 2 years ago. Had to do all that setup and parts change but now I laugh at gibson I mean that gibson makes a good pickup but for the high dollar nope
If you want a lp copy man , the new gretch are about 200 new to they are really nice.... get older jap ones hondo Memphis global Electra lotus. The original cheapos

An eBay seller has a batch available for $152 with free shipping to continental US.

Got one at an overstock auction paid $85.00 brand new in box no issues. One piece body also!!. as the vid states a great guitar and pretty as well

A big magnifying glass and some emory boards and a couple hours be in no hurry and smooth the fret ends

I have a 335 guitar made by best choice product. It's not good at all and I played 3 of them. I might give this company a try.
I don't know anything about Best Choice but it sounds like maybe they ain't the best choice.

CNC machines are the modern blessing to the guitar world. Quick cheap consistent guitars that are pretty good.
