The reason for this is luthiers like Kris Derrig, who bulit Slash's "Appetite For Destruction" Les Paul. It was built by a great Luthier, using parts from real 50's Gibsons, including pots, pickups, plastic parts, capacitors, etc. and also were built with the right materials (Honduran mahogany, Canadian Maple, Brazilian rosewood) and glue. These luthiers also took care to replicate even the tiniest details, Something Gibson reissues didn't bother with until the mid '00's (hideglue instead of tightbond, the exact era-correct shape of the headstock and logo, tortoise shell side dots, instead of black plastic, etc). It's no wonder even the experts have a hard time telling them apart

Which is the same as taking control of banking, education, military manufacturing, and other institutions. You'll get nothing but Cardi B and Bruno Mars and you'll like it.

This might be the best I've seen you play. You have this unique way of moving your body when you play....it is quite frankly..... very moving . It's good to see the Les Paul under the mastery of younger hands while playing more modern music.
The fluidity of movement across the guitar is incredible to watch, and the tone that it brings out is unmistakably you. It sounded amazing through my headphones. I can't wait to watch this again, cranked up at home 🙌

That second jam you did was to date my favorite playing of yours I’ve heard and I really enjoy your playing over all. Your playing reminds me of off high energy, tasty lick playing, high note specialist trumpet plays that can solo. There seems to be some notes and licks that can only come out by putting your body into it
Back in either 77 or 78 there was a band rehearsing across the street from my girlfriends house. We would sit on their porch and listen to them rehearse. I was 15 and it would be a year before I would get my first guitar. One day the bass player showed late and saw us sitting there. He said they knew we were listening ( I was thier paperboy). They invited us down and there were 2 NOT ONE, 2 Marshall SLs sitring there on top of 4X12 cabs. The guitarist had a V and a LP standard ( I think). They went through a set before kicking us but it was a set of Bad Co, Thin Lizzy, Robin Trower and some others ( I think Montrose Motor Scooter was in there too). Between that and VH 1 coming out I never looked back and in the 45 or so years since.... Well, you know how it is...
