I go in 12/11 and this made me feel so much better. Some people are judgmental about this but it’s a lot being pregnant and I’m ready! Thank you so much.
I’m getting induced tomorrow night and this video made me so calm. I hope to have an experience like you! My cervix is 80% effaced which is good. I also have a good pain tolerance and I’m not afraid of needles so the epidural shouldn’t be a scary experience. I am pumped!!!! So ready to meet my baby!
The birth itself went great and when it came time for the epidural my contractions got really intense really fast! The epidural was such relief! I was admitted July 2nd at 6am and gave birth on the 3rd at 4:30pm.
Listening to your birthing story gives me hope which is what i needed. Im going to get induced this month. So I’m glad u let other women out there besides me that it can be a happy and peaceful labor and delivery.❤
Going in for an elective induction this week. I’ve had a couple people shame me for this decision but I’m so excited to meet my son and it works out better with my husbands schedule
Currently 39+2 and my next appointment is also at 39+4! If he hasn’t come in his own by then I pray they let me set an induction date! Thank you for sharing your story ❤
An update! I had him at 39+5. Went home after my second appointment discourage at no progress but hopeful with an induction date set for 40+1. Well, my water broke that night around 1:30am and he was born at 11:20am.
@@EmGrace4012I love your coming back with an update thank you!!! I have a doctors appt putting in an appt for induction tomorrow. Hopefully she comes by herself if not evacuating
oh girl, had my second baby 5 months ago and god had other plans for me to say the least bahaha. Contractions were SO strong, within 4hrs of starting active labor she was out! Didn't even get through my IV bag at the hospital hahaha
Like so many in you comments on this video, I’m getting induced tomorrow! Thank you for sharing your experience - I’m so glad that it was calm and positive, and I hope mine is the same 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
It went great, thank you for asking! My OB was fantastic, and post-epidural, labor was a really gentle experience. My daughter came in healthy with no complications for me or her. Induction was fine, but I wish I had known about my options for pain management going in. I went from no pain (and no contractions) to *very* active labor and all the pain super quickly. Things were pretty great after the epidural, though. My kiddo is amazing and the highlight of my whole life, so I feel very lucky and grateful.
Thank you for posting this!!!!! I’m currently 28 weeks and I’m hoping to get induced at 39 weeks. My anxiety is super horrible and this helped a lot!!! Thank you!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Im doing elective inducement in two days and ive never been induced and this is my 3rd pregnancy. i have been nervous.. your video has helped me . Thank You
having an induction on the 30th and I hope I’m as dilated as you are just to help things go more smoothly lol. this was very helpful, congrats mama! ❤️
AGHH soo exciting girl!! I definitely recommend doing daily exercises to try and induce labor, even if it feels like it’s not doing anything! 💕 I feel like that really got me dilated lol!
Amy Richerson as long as you’ve had a healthy pregnancy you can ask! Some doctors don’t like offering it while others do. Just let your dr know that you’d like to do an elective induction at 39 weeks if they offer it at your hospital! The doctor then submits a request for you 💕

I'm doing an elective induction. Wednesday at 5pm (39 week and 3 days). Cant wait! I feel you when you said that you are over being pregnant 😂
This was like the simplest, least traumatic elective induction story I’ve heard on RUclips. Lol so happy for you and baby

I'm getting induced in 3 days at 39 weeks 4 days because my cervix isn't dilated and the baby's head is not fixed
Congratulations I go tomorrow am
Hi! How did you request to have an elective induction with your Dr? :) I am considering this

@@cozyaholic when did you put the request in and everything?? How far along were you?
So no vaginal tears or cuts while delivering your baby????😮😮😮😮
Is elective induction possible at the start of 39th week?
Yep, that’s when I did mine!
@@cozyaholic what if baby is not engaged
I wish I was given this option, the doctors at my hospital didn’t do elective inductions and I ended up going over my due date by 4 days 🥲
oh no! That sucks, I'm sorry! Ever since having my second baby at 40+1 weeks, I will say that I enjoyed the wait. It was so special
