Add to it: get the full version. There's two versions of the song, one assumedly recorded "before" MGR and then a tune-up of the lyrics we all know and love. So there's a whole extra length worth of verses to sing in the combined song.

I don't know why, but for no apparent reason this really made me want some No More Heroes covers, namely pulling on Lollia for Philistine.

the vocals aren't exact but in a way that i feel that tre's voice is better suited to the altered melody that he sung in the first vocal part
That's kinda how covers work.
It's missing the second vocal layer that blends with the first.

Incredible! I'm kind of shocked he hasn't done this one yet but it's very fitting
one thing I always notice in some covers of "it has to be this way", is that almost no one can replicate that emotion that the original vocals give off, like, the covers are awesome, but the original song has a more emotional voice, which doesn't stay in a single tone, it gets lower/higher pitched, and that's what makes the original song, in my opinion, better than many covers.

Yeah something I noticed in his metal gear covers, the vocals just have accents in the wrong spots, and less energy overall. I mean Kudos to him for doing this well, but it doesn’t really suit this piece.

@@notgura9949 I think the vocals on Skar Production's cover are better than the one in this cover imo (which is already really good) because here the vocals are too clear and pronounced for it's own good while in Skar's one it's got more of a raspier voice and accent which is more similar to the voice Raiden has and fits the theme better while also bumping up the energy exponentially. Again, just my opinion though.

THIS SLAPS SO FUCKING HARD.
The arrangement is so good, I love the intro you've written for this. I was a bit wary from the first verse, I've never heard Tre before and to be honest the first verse feels a little bit... Weak and low on energy compared to the rest of the song, really nice tone but a bit too subdued. But then I heard their growl, they have SUCH a NICE SOUND to their growl, and second verse onwards absolutely killed it so it wound up having a really nice build up to the whole song.
This is one of my fav things you've put out in a while and I'm defs gonna check out Tre's other work!

The first verse in it has to be this way also doesn’t have to much energy in it. But as the song goes on it gains it, just like this. I think it was meant to be like that to mimic the actual song.
