That was brilliant Queenie, Harrods really do have the best of everything. I love the mix of shopping and history and that idea of tiles representing scales, just wonderful. As for herbal teas a good licorice tea is still the best tea to end the day. Hope you have a great weekend too. X

I'm always last minute but that was much more fun to go when the shelves are stocked full. Thanks for showing the windows out front as well. Hello From Texas USA - Wow, Wow, and Wow, !!! Harrods has always been a fantastic and grand place. The marketplace, is the atmosphere I miss. Raised in NJ, we had these kind of places, though not as grand, but, the marketplace is always a big draw. Can anyone ever get bored with Harrods.....I think not. Love to you and yours. Be safe out there.

I think its magic lies in the fact that nowhere is done like this anymore - it's architectural treasure, and I'm so glad it was so lovingly restored! This will be brekkie! I’m a bit late up ‘Sydney time’ because the neighbour kept me up til after 2.30am. Hopefully all the horrifically high temperatures u might have seen in Sydney the last few days, are over. It’s just Summer squeezing the last few hot days out of herself! Hi Queenie my favourite store 👍👍😁, I must admit very expensive though and too be honest you have to go some to get better quality and value than M&S for Easter Eggs and Easter treats.
I may say the take away Roast Dinners from Harrods Roasterie is delicious, and their filled salad boxes are great value.

Oh, I definitely agree - M&S is amazing for the Easter goodies! Just seen a massive Hedwig White Chocolate Owl in there - such good value and I'm seriously tempted by the Extremely Chocolatey Hot Cross Bun Egg! Haha!

Crikey, I haven't heard of most of those chocolate brands. Have you visited the Charbonnel and Walker chocolate shop at the Bond Street end of the Royal Arcade yet? It's amazing, and they sometimes have free chocolate tastings. We even have a branch in Leeds in the Victoria Quarter. Hope you're fully recovered now, and also hoping that the lovely QM is feeling better. x
Hello Your Royal Highness! Tell me about it - a lot of them were new to me too! Of course I've been in there! They suckered me in around the time of the Jubilee last year...the salted caramel truffles are a constant repurchase now! Oooo I'm so pleased you have one in Leeds! Yesterday I was guilty of a few Custard Tart flavoured soft centres from Hotel Chocolat....oh my gosh the smell of them. They should do it in candle from! Haha!

@@QueenieofLondon Me and the North send our love back. xx Another truffle that was out of this world was made by Prestat in Princes Arcade, it was Banoffee flavour. As far as I know, they don't make that flavour anymore. My mouth is watering at the thought of those custard tart choccies. xx
