Crochet An Easy Classic Fisherman Hat / Men Beanie
Very cool. I've never seen one crocheted before to look like knit decreases. Gives it a great look for sure.
I watch a lot of crotchet videos and I have found that many do not explain why they are doing what they are doing and for me that is very important as I am always trying to actively learn new things and become an expert. Thank you for explaining everything you are doing, why you are doing it as well as pin pointing exactly where you are putting in your hook. Amazing job.
My first crochet beanie! It turned out great! I did 41 chains in the beginning beacue I wanted the hat to sit just above my ears. It ended up being a tad bit too long for my liking but looks just fine if I fold the brim twice. Good video and instruction. Thank you
Love the way the decreases make this hat look!! 🧶💜
I will definitely be making this beanie/hat tonite or tmrw!! 🧶
Thank you so much Siren!! 😊🧶🦋💜
Thank you, Sirin! I am obsessed with this pattern. I already made 4 so far and another one on progress
I love this! What a great way to form the hat ❤
Thank you so much. I made this for myself and also for my nephew. It came out perfect!
I just finished a hat that is like yours. Thank you for this video. Have a great day.
I love the way you speak. Also your tutorials are fabulous!
Great tutorial! I just finished making one and it turned out great! Thank you, Sirin!
Gorgeous. And I love that color!
What a fantastic hat!!!👌👌love it!!⚘️
16:50 Ya lost me. If I don't see it done, I get confused. Sorry for being a slow student 🥺 Beautiful hat!
OMG SAME 😭
This is a nice look. I’m eager to try it
Looks really good. I might have a go at this ❤
thank you for this video im having a really fun time making this !!
I love this. I was looking for a hat to make for my husband.
Thank you for the measurements in the decrease sections. This means I can use a DK yarn as well.
❤
How?
Nice design 😊
do you have a written pattern for this hat? i want to make it for my brother but i have a hard time watching videos for crochet patterns. :)
Me too!
You are the best
You are an awesome teacher! You go slow, direct every stitch and the camera picks up everything. I’m still working on my hat, for my husband. When I’m done, I’m sure he’ll like it. Then I’ll look at your other tutorials and see what else I can learn from you. I’m so glad I found this one. ❤️🧶
Would this work with acrylic yarn?
I'm making this hat in grey😊
are we connecting 6 sections together? or I'm so confused when you jump from the white piece back to the tan piece at 16:55, my piece isn't the size of half a hat so I can't stitch them togethe
Yes
Did you figure this out?
Repeat the instructions 6 times, and the join both sides together
❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤
can you used bigger type of yarn
❤❤
❤
Do you have a written version of this pattern?
For worsted weight or medium yarn ch50, rw1 sc in back loop only-blo (50st). Ch1 turn. Rw2 Sc-blo leave two stitches for decrease (48st). Ch1 turn. 48sc-blo return pass. Ch1 turn. (Repeat previous: sc-blo leave 2, ch1 and return for 4 more rows... 9 total, the 2 starting rows and 7 decreases.)
Now you are going to gather the tapered end using alternating sc and a modified hdc that has a slip in it using back loops only. The sc us on the end to bind it and the hdc is in the middle slipped to the next decrease. At the point, ch1 turn. Sc back loop only on a full return pass should be 50 stitches total.
Repeat all of the above for the total number if panels you need for the needed size.
Join with sl st across all four loops. If desired, join the "brim" with sk st in bl-fl fir wider seam.
I am using super bulky with 25 st and it is the same size. I did four decreases 6 total sections. Once i finished the bind off on the decrease and sc across, it came to 25 total sc. This is the new baseline. The next row is the first decrease on the next panel. Seam once the measurement of the bottom edge equals the desired hat circumference. Mine is sizing up a bit shorter than i planned and wont fold. I will do the next one with 40 stitches so i have the desired fold.
I also got lost at 16:55. If I fold this together now I would be making a hat for my broom 😳.
Any of you that understood this want to enlighten us? 🤪
Siri, i have a request. Is it possible for yo to make a 2 colors(horizontally) instead of just one? Thanks
I believe Sirin actually made a video on that before. I'm not sure it's the exact same pattern, but it's definitely a beanie!
Please i am a bit confused as to how many times you have to crochet before the final row
Ama Türkçe altyazı yok ayarlardan ekleyebilir misiniz❤
Do you have a written pattern for this hat
