That aint bad Clinton.I was waiting for you to say they were bent.Honestly you should have replaced all that before they went in.Cheer up buddy, it's not that bad...
Yea for sure was hoping it’s wouldn’t all be shot lol also my starter went out and I’m doing a rewire on my mains. But it will get there for sure! Just can’t wait to get on the trails
I totally agree. That was my 1st thought. When I started building my axles... 1st thing I did was heavy duty ball joins, Spicer heavy duty ujoints and Timken wheel hub assemblies... jeep drives straight at any speed with no sway bars and no steering shock absorber.... i get no bump steer... rides like a Cadillac after i put new bilstien 5100 shocks.....
Shes a beast bro.... a couple more $$$ and shell drive smooth.... after you do heavy duty ball joints and ujoints and the hub assembly..... alignment should be checked again....
I am in the beginning of an axle build myself. Definitely stripped down the axle to just the differential, tubes and C’s. Unfortunately it’s gonna be a little more difficult than if the assembly was still on jack stands but I honestly thought you were gonna say something much worse. I know it still sucks but very fixable. Love your XJ ! ❤️🐞
Yea all fixable just set backs I actually have more that went wrong but wasn’t axle related, also the hydro is gonna be a big expensive I was hoping I didn’t have to do right away.
Glitches are disheartening and used parts are ALWAYS a crap-shoot. Do you replace everything as you put it together - or - put it together and find out what is needed and replace only that? Unfortunately, Ball joints are 90% mechanical work and 10% front end work, so the time evolved is mostly running the battery pack down on your impact driver. I've fought steering box woes too and I'm interested in which brand you go with.
Yea i figures I would end up replacing most of these things just not all at once, I usually will just replace things as needed. I think I have settle on the psc budget hydro assist kit!

Dan Hambrick - Hey Dan! Just found this channel. Of course you found it first! ❤️🐞

I thought my xj was the sexiest xj ever, until I saw this bad boy. The notch flares and hood really set it apart.. Epic rig you have.
Not that bad! I thought you were gonna say the axles were bent! Now you can just make some vids on how to replace those parts ;)
Awesome series, glad you figured out what was wrong, can’t wait to see it wheeling !
Thanks man it will be soon! Just a little set back
I probably would've just thrown it in there without replacing everything too, but like you said, it's all fixable.
Yea I was hoping it wouldn’t be to much but it’s all good hopefully will be all done soon!
bro I love your XJ , great video
Thanks dude!!
You had me worried! You could get all that fixed in a day! Glad it wasn’t worse.

If you tinted your windows, it would look sick! Black against red....and it would keep it cooler in the sun. :)
For sure that’s on the list 🤘🏼

There's definitely a problem because my Cherokee could steer no problem with a stock steering box and 37s
4.0 Power ended up getting all the geometry corrected and it steers perfect!
Its all about the smalls
If half of what previous owners said was true, you might be ok. Sadly people do anything for a few bucks.
Yea it should all be fixable just a little set back, was really hoping to be on the trails already 😁
