      Same here but what’s the advantage of this or going 1 ton super duty axles compared to stocks

    Thank you for sharing this process! I Plan to do the same, now I know how much money and work needs to be put in to make this happen!

    Parts list & prices. You say that you got pretty good deals. I’d say that you killed it! I’d love to find the prices you’re finding. I always find guys who think their parts are gold plated and when I sell, they think I’m asking way too much. Buying and selling is a PITA.

    I saw a video on the RUclips shorts and it's a video of a guy going to different various places running into people driving super cars and he asks them what they do for work. So this is my question to you what do you do for work. After watching the first video from you I'm now catching up I started after seeing your unboxing of your hood. You gained a subscriber btw thanks for bringing this content to youtube

    Great swap! great series
    The axles are of course going to be the unknown variable. the rest of it is pretty much set price unless you find deals or wait for sales.

    Did you lift it higher or keep the 4.5”? Also did you end up gaining that inch from the truss? Looks great

    • @jcjeeps
      @jcjeeps  4 года назад

      I went up to 5.5 I didn’t get any from the truss like I hoped for

    Axles are big money. I paid $580 for my 8.8 swap and I have about $1200 into my dana 30 but I can't really do anything else to make it stronger. 37's are huge on an XJ. You must have long bump stops! lol My 33's with 5" of lift run ever so slightly.

      @jcjeeps  4 года назад +2

    I'm gonna do a whole rough country build on my xj. With fully built dana 30s,"6.5 long arm lift kit, and rims and tires. I'll be in 8K $2,500 towards rims and tires.

      Rough country sucks. From their shocks to the springs. Go with a Clayton's long arm setup. N 2500 on wheels n tires.... no way. Also buy used where u can. I sand blasted n repainted all of my parts i brought used and installed new bushings n hardware n saved alot

      @@redneckswitwheels I scraped that build months ago. I was in over $12,000.
