    I grew up in Charlestown in the 60's Nothing like it was back then.

    I lived in the Navy Yard around 1990. There were plenty of places you knew not to wander around in Charlestown. The movie The Town with Ben Affleck characterized it well. I wonder if things have changed that much since then or did this video just gloss over things.

    One small quibble: the gaslights in the Gaslight District were installed after I moved here in 1977, so they aren't original. I'm old, but I'm not that old!

      Good to know! It's now a protected status for the neighborhood so perhaps more an Homage to times past!

    Compass, isn’t this the organization which fired an employee because she challenged a school board in Ca. so she could be involved in her kid’s education?

      The person in reference was an independent contractor and never an employee of Compass. We couldn't comment on specifics beyond that...
