Still rocking the phone and aged like a fine wine after 3+ yrs of ownership. I still plan to keep using it until it breaks. Best smartphone I have ever owned, Oneplus need to return to the 7T/7pro era.
How's the battery backup
@@reynoxkinny6793 Still haven't replaced the battery and its about 72% health in the OnePlus Diagnostic app. Still okay with the battery health for my use case but will still plan to replace it at some point. Still an awesome phone in 2024
@@reynoxkinny6793 lasts 8 hours of sot and 13 of regular use
Although the software situation has just changed a lot, one thing I can vouch for with the new Oppo-ness of the phone is that the camera system now is like way better than how it was back when it was released. I don't think this gets enough praise.
Typing this comment from the 7t Pro. Aging beautifully. Battery still last nearly full day with heavy use. No lags for day to usage on productivity apps, office apps and leisure browsing/media apps. Did not do the Android 12 OTA due to issues reported widely. Best part is the no-notch, no-dot, bezel less display. Front camera has held on inspite of heavy usage on numerous zoom/team meetings. Recently wanted to upgrade to a Galaxy S23 but the front camera hole on display made me think twice.
Watching on my 7T. Have been using it before Covid 19 hit the world. Battery still going strong, have to charge at the end of the day though. The camera still impressed. Overall, a very awesome phone even in 2023. Not ditching it anytime soon, will be my spare phone once I get a new phone.
Same here m8! I'm using mine for about 4yr+ now, works like a charm. Did you upgrade to OS12?
I got this phone at 2020 a week before the launch of the one plus 8 series, it was an incredible phone at the price and all the features it offered was amazing. I used this phone up until last month. During the time I had this phone I had the most fun android experience and loved how easy and simple it was to use . But unfortunately as time passed the battery became dull and I was getting only 3 hours of screen time and the OS was very buggy after the Android 12 update. But the battery wasn't that good to begin with though.
Out of all the phone I used OnePlus was able to deliver the best android experience. It was bang for the buck when it was released.
I have a oneplus 7t still rocking it since 2019... Bettery life starting to degrade and the size of the phone is a bit too tall but overall still does the job
I still have it. The battery is weak now but performance still great. It can play pubg at 90fps.
Lol who still plays Pubg? The server waiting times are ridiculous.
@@spartanpatriot3163 that's strange because I'm in the UK and there is no wait for enter servers.
@@TheAaronJP it’s impossible at times to get a match here in the States unless you want to play on a hack fest Chinese server and even then it’s 10+ minutes if you want to play solo.
@@spartanpatriot3163 that does sound frustrating and if probably quit the game, too. There is one big problem on the server I use which is de-sync. When I go behind cover, I still get damage points.
@@TheAaronJP another reason why I quit that game, got tired of being snipped through rocks
After 3years it's still rocking. I can play almost any games on Play Store at Max settings. Except OS everything is still working awesome
What's wrong with the OS, I'm planning on buying the phone!
Updates. You will be locked in Android 12 forever@@ProbablyHanzo420
Yeah what's wrong with os? I was planning to buy this too
Looking at the current phone market, it's an absolute bargain. Wish we could get more software updates.
Nice phone. But hd1907 version is not updating to 12 android update
The software situation for this phone is definitely unfortunate. I jumped over the the Pixel Experience custom ROM years ago (up to Android 13 now and getting security updates) and have enjoyed that software experience. Definitely requires some technical knowledge to get installed but nothing crazy.
How did you do it?
Same here I'm Using the Pixel Experience For Some Few months now and it's Serves me well i love it , can't wait for Os 14

Can you use finance application i mean money transfer and all?
@@rationalHuman1897i think that the Barclays app doesn’t work if your phone is rooted
Pls compare ip 8 plus and oneplus 7t. Can anyone also choose between these 2 phones or a pixel 4a?
4 years 3 months and running with any issue at all. One of the best phones from OnePlus...
Still using my 7t for over 4 years, I've never touched the display, zero scratches, the phone is like new and I've had no issues, what blows my mind is my battery is still healthy after 4 years of charging with 30 watts. I hate to upgrade because mine is just as fast as new and still takes good pictures, good 4k 60 fps and no phone has a good macro camera like this one. My speakers still sound good and the phone lasts me over a day of good usage but the software with no security patches is what's making me upgrade sadly, some apps arent working for weird reasons. It'll be going to wife and I'm sure it'll last a couple more years which is crazy! It still games good and had minimal bloatware which I think helped it live so long, nothing constantly draining the battery. Mine quit getting security and software updates in 2022. Still usable tho.
3:58 "OnePlus 11 Pro"?? 😆
Still no reason to upgrade from this nearly 4 years later 😅. All contending phones usually have less cameras, tradeoffs, and generally the same specs aside from the processor. Even so the 855+ is still more than capable.
Only issue is battery life, which you can easily get replaced for $50. Android 11 and 12 updates can have some hicups, but that goes for any phone falling out of support.
Still using my 7T after 3 years... On my 3rd battery tho. Seeing midrange phone in 2023 is still catching up to the specs meaning I'll be rocking it for at least another year 😂
Where do you buy the battery and which one'a exactly? What about glue for the glass back?
4+ years mobile (7t) working and performance is good as new
The macro is the best on the market to date. Sad they pulled it.
7t a beast better than my pixel 7pro and 7t came out in 2019
I have 3 OnePlus phones. 7t 8 and 9.
NONE of them connect with my Laptop via Cable or Network Sharing. For this reason I would will be leaving OnePlus and avoiding them altogether. I've downloaded drivers and tried everything and no matter what there is no way to even sent a simple file from my phone to computer. Shocking
Why, Mine works eas, Have you ever thought it's laptop issue
Still using 7T until now
Best phone i have ever used. Still using.
Reading the comments, i was surprised that it wasnt only me that think that Oxygen OS 10 is the best OS ever. OOS 11 or 12 wasnt even close. Super smooth, fast, simple, intuitive. Even 2024 phones still couldnt come close. Probably Nothing OS is the closest to OOS 10.
The best phone i use .. One Plus 7T . 2018-2023 Still work it !! Gaming camera prformance very nice ❤️❤️
2024 still okay?
@@xndiey5890 yes bro , still relevant ❤️
This phone is a good phone but I would do more research on this phone before buying it.
Buy it you will not Regret it
@@abumalik007 how long does the battery last ? Im talking about the current situation, not how it used to, but rather what you are getting now. How long can you play pubg continuously for ?
In 12/20/20 i bought 1+8T+ by traded in discount. I had 4 times dream of my 1+8T+ in 2023. I just don't like front design of 1+7T. I also had 7 times dream of my 1+7T Pro Mclaren Edition. I'm using both phones. Nobody still buying my 1+8T+ at $300 in USA.
My dad use this phone right now. I am gonna ask him to change our phones and downgrade it to Android 10. That was the best OS IMO.
Oneplus 7 pro not one plus11 pro
Battery test
Does it supports 5G
No but 4g lte is fine and actually more obtainable in most places than 5g I have 5g dropping on me all the time on new phone
nah
i think his voice is very annoying and the way he sounds on the microphone is also annoying, but I'm watching this cuz i have a 7t.
i downgraded it to OXYGEN OS 10 which is i consider the BEST OS EVER! craaazy fast! it even feels faster than my pixel 6!
what methods to downgrade the the current? is it the same by unlocking the bootloader and flash the stock rom?
