I can't describe in full how this album makes me feel. Everytime I listen to it, I find something new. It's the best piece of music I've listened to in a long long time. I've been listening to Kano since early and it just keeps getting better. Few artists grow and keep getting better. I'll be listening to this album for decades to come.
The Culture Brewing Channel 1000% This album gets me emotional for the work for the levels for the collaborations for the realness and this documentary is everything
Kano is The Goat no lie , there is a good amount of artist that I respect but he tops the list based on personal impact and soul alone not to mention lyrical ability , delivery and flow and relatability 💯💯💯 salute a hundred thousand times 💯,000
Legendary 🙌🏾🔥 I know he's been a veteran for like 15 years, but I feel like he needs to blow again. This feels bare important to grime history, but I don't think enough people are paying attention.
Chicken Connoisseur He's beyond blowing. Don't think he arsed about it. He's doing more important things for us and for himself. "It's just real." Bless him.
Tv is full of Geordie shore and love island, this is the kind of reality tv we should be seeing. Following talented people that create, inspire, adapt and overcome
Yep. Right on the ball there! Look at what the radio play these days. Only to dumb down the generation...and they are succeeding at it. It's a shame the younger lot can't see it. Tv shows are all processed and full of fake people.
People want fast entertainment, that quick consumption of content. Its why TV shows are becoming so much more popular compared to movies, don't have to pay attention for a 2hr film I can watch a 30 min episode and they will put a lot of the same entertainment in. It's why apps like TikTok are so popular, the creators have to fit everything in small video and at a tiny swipe of my thumb I can see a different video.
A short but powerful documentary. It shows the drive, talent and principles of a man who hasn’t lost touch with reality as many people do. “Trouble” touched my heart with the stabbing scene, I felt it. The fear I feel when my son leaves the house is brought to life in the music for a moment. Brilliant work and I loved hearing the sounds from my youth, the reggae from my family home and the Garage influences of a twenty something. Thank you Kano 👏
GRIMEREPORTTV the bits you’ve been doing for the last 10 years is putting you in the same class lords rt half the reason I stayed on the scene was shit on your channel. 💯💯
Ive always known about kano and listened to him rarely, but this album changed my views on everything. This is real UK music right here, he is a legend and this album has changed lots about me, I’ve been listening to it everyday. I respect u kano and look up to u. The goat right here
The Greatest Artist!! Came a long way since 2005 Kano - P's and Q's,. Synthetic Telepathy is Real. Stay blessed. Come and Grace the Red Soil, the Red Nation, Edo State.
"I don't want it to seem like I'm taking down on people, I've just experienced more and I want the same for you" - Kano. Very good documentary mate, keep up the good work.
Unlike most artists Kano goes up a level with every album, Made in the Manor was insanely good, Hoodies all Summer is more mature, rounded and is more brilliant as a result. Stormzy may get all the headlines but he's got a long way to go before he gets to Kano's level.
Yes Kane Robinson. This LP's even stronger than his last (and that's saying something) Some MC's fall off, some plateau, some go from strength to strength.... This guy's the latter. UK GOAT for me. Quality mini-doc, truly inspirational stuff.
i never thought he could top “This is England” for the raw storytelling of the culture that surrounds places like East London and london in general... Hoodies all Summer was a fucking brilliant birthday present!
This album deserves an award or some kid of recognition, even if it doesn't win Kano should know that this album really resonates with the people that listened and took it in organically, it's already a British classic in my eyes. It's crazy to think music now days is so easily consumed and forgotten about within a week or month. But to see Kano's process and with some tunes even taking up to 3 years to make!!, it shows how much time energy and genuine passion he has for his craft. I slept on the album when it first came out and thought Kano could not create another home sweet home album. For me this may just surpass that as this album not only gives a clear and current insight of whats going on now but also shows the retrospective of where Kano has come from therefore showing his evolution and maturity. The blend of old school, new school and his Caribbean heritage in the sound for this album is also clearly evident and he definitely does not conform to whats trending now in terms of his sonic choices. This album is one of the best albums to come out of the UK in a long while from an artist who has been in the music industry since the days of channel U. All I can say lets gives artists like Kano the flowers whilst they are still here, their work deserves it. I came up listening to sounds of Ghetto Kyote, Pied Piper, Eskimo and all the other instrumentals buzzing in London around that time. It's heart warming to see the longevity of artists who remain true to themselves and the music they want to create. Respect Kane
the best album to drop last year. what an influential guy man, this brought me to tears. i saw an interview where he said the dna of the album was to touch on things and to cut songs off abruptly and the way this doc ended was in the same manner. only the GOAT could get his album across in a documentary and keep the same energy and integrity, love this man
Kane is a different cut...you got to celebrate and appreciate these kinda people while they are here not when there gone...Kane is a legend in his own right. I hope we get to hear more music like this...big up kane
Kano is a pure genius, he's genuine and real, and every track he has ever dropped has been on point. Bar for bar he the best out there and this album is the best I ever heard. You can feel his pain in got my brandy got my beats. Love that track
someone's got some naughty footage of that ghetts and kane b2b in the studio in their locker... respect to Kano + team - beautiful album, can really tell it was years in the making
If that doc was an hour 2 hours 3 hours ther would still be enough content for it to stay interesting, Kano take a bow I’m so grateful your content over the past 2 decades 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Big up Kano for mentioning his roots. Pirate radio was an outlet for young up and coming artists. So glad we got to witness those times and they are great memories. Big up Kano you have excelled immensely since the days of Flava FM and Deja Vu FM. Big up!!!!
Thank you kane for bringing this album to my ears. One of the most important projects released in my lifetime. Can't wait to see you live in Leeds when on ps and qs you say "and I've got it locked from London to Leeds" Unreal talent. Need to get me a pair of Gucci loafers
To date this is Kane's best project, it shows his legacy - it is great to see the growth and development from both Ghetts and him. Both of their recent projects give a snapshot of the current political climate, show their versatility and prove exactly why everyone should check out their discography. As a UK boy, for me these two paint a picture the most of what life is like living and growing up over here. I'm luckily enough to have seen my parents transition from a working class family to lower middle throughout my lives, it has helped to give me the drive I have to make a change and impact in these areas. Want to be able to educate the next generation, teach them a set of skills with Mandarin and English that can open up doors for people to open doors and achieve what they want, to support their family and give back. I've grown up on these guys and they've given me projects I'm gonna listen to for years to come - my kids are definitely gonna grow up hearing the music that they've made too.
Kano is the nas of the uk scene. And hoodies all summer is the best album of the decade front to back all killers no fillers. Brandy and my beats my personal favourite its poetry and shows his growth as a man as well as an artist. Would love to see the studio footage of class of de ja though 🙏
He is in my Top Five period. His album was difficult to catch at first. But I think it is meant to be. I listen to it now and say “Wow, how could you doubt this as a classic”. This dude is a ridiculous talent. Here in America we don’t really see this kind of effort in projects anymore.
Wiley's sound, dizzee gave it class, Mike put it into the spotlight, Kano makes the best tracks, Skepta has always been king, now grime is blessed with a god in Stormzy, thanks to all of you for making such a special and unique sound! ... biddy-bup-bup...
Hey Kano, a quick message to tell you that we deeply appreciate your creative process. This particular album has inspired a lot of our work (completely unrelated to music) as new creators. The energy and intention that you put into your work is clear. Every word carries weight and intention. Much love! 😊Thanks for making this short film too.
I still remember recording nasty crew Sets on the radio and taking it to school the next morning and listening to it all day in school.. the artist needs to do a deja-vu reunion . That will be MAD..
The levels you have taken British Hip Hop to is phenomenal. Class act through and through your vision for the streets is progressive and inspiring ...Keep killing the game !
one of the greatest artists the UK has ever produced, goosebumps watching this. cant wait to see you live this month

Facts or facts?...although you never saw this documentary coming you're glad #Kano continues to be dedicated to his craft always delivering quality.
One of the best artists to come out of the UK, let alone the grime scene
Wiley isn’t called the godfather because he’s the best. It’s because he paved the way for ALL grime artists and Kano would tell you this himself
Casanova Frankenstein
👆
@Casanova Frankenstein Wiley hasn't paved the way for anyone? Literally one of the most selfless people, you're clueless.
The best.
One of the greatest to ever touch the mic yet still criminally underrated
