What sucks is that we are not getting melias, daphne or the other spell in gftp. Maybe we will get them in battles of legend with the other fossil cards and princess cologne support
Hope so. I'm actually abit worried as they - for whatever reasons - haven't yet imported the stuff from premium pack 2020 (some altergeist supports, rose princess, etc). Looking forward to some other cards like infernity sage and level resist wall too :')
One of my favorite anime decks, it's pleasure to see it in action! I think it was confirmed that we'll get more Sunavalon cards in Lightning Overdrive, so that will probably include Melias, it'll be a great help for the deck!
@@calvman2757 Melias is great when it's Link summoned you can monster reborn Genious Loki for free and Link it away for Thrasher. Then Trahser, it can attack up to the number of Sunavalon monsters you control. In most cases you'll have 3 Sunavalons, so 3 attacks with a 4K beatstick that steals the destroyed monsters. That seems good to me
@@calvman2757 when/if we get Sunavalon glorious growth it will boost the deck further. Especially if they print judgment arrows, which I sadly doubt they will 😂
What’re your thoughts on other Sunavalon players combining Rikka and Aroma together ? Those decks seem to be more combo based and focused on the multiple board disruptions
How were you able to respond to the activation of access code talker in the first duel? I thought you weren't allowed to activate anything during those effects
That is because Botanical Girl has an effect that can miss timing. Optional trigger effects that start with "When" can only happen if their trigger is the last thing that happened in any sequence of actions. And unfortunately if you use Botanical Girl as Link Material she gets sent to the graveyard and THEN you summon the link monster that used her as material, making her effect miss timing. "When" effects that are not optional (signalled by them being written in imperative voice instead of using the phrase "you can") as well as "if" effects cannot miss timing, with the former being - as the term suggests - mandatory.
In the second duel when you used Dryatrentiay's effect and tributed your Sunavalon Dryas to destroy Time Thief Redoer, how come your Thrasher's didn't destroy themselves when Dryas left the field by card effect? Am I missing something?
Thrasher's effect couldn't be applied since it was used as a tribute for cost, not a tribute for an effect. so it Dryas Didn't actually leave the field by an effect, it left by a cost, which Doesn't count.
Esta muy difícil con el soporte actual. El Deck es relativamente consistente pero al igual que el Marincess no logra mucho con su combo principal. Cuando salga el soporte de Lightning Overdrive será mucho mejor pero no lo vemos cerca de volverse competitivo por ahora.
My only issue with the deck is the absence of any form of negate. You die super hard to nib. You can opt to play the rank 9 negate but it takes a lot of setup and you still end up using almost all your extra deck to get there and still die to nib.
I wouldn't be surprised if this would be in a Legendary Duelist set with some support in the future since it's an anime archetype plus they've been making some generic plant monsters recently there's still some splashable cards.

This year we might get Drones & Dolls and others from last year's voting poll. I hope Konami would print more of these anime cards.
