Nice song. But I'm missing Martin Chambers. What happened to him? Wanna visit a Pretenders gig in september. But Pretenders without Martin are not the same.
Martin seems to only really like touring not recording which he has stated many times. But i think in this instance it seems that this started as solo project: Chrissie backed by His Lordship Band and I think she must have liked that vibe and stuck with it for the road under the name Pretenders collective.
Her voice is so smooth and still recognizable 44 years after I first heard the Pretenders. Awesome and amazing.
This woman sounds, plays,writes and certainly looks as awesome as always! Thanks for some REAL music in this world 🗯️
