No auto tone, just one microphone. Hands on hips, and casually in pockets. No gimmicks, just pure raw talent. I’m 72 and still get chills when this song is played. Thank you so much for such lovely memories😌!
They were brothers, the far right guy is Maurice Gibb, he died after surgery, far left was his twin, Robin Gibb, he passed from cancer, the funeral for Robin is on RUclips. The was a younger brother, Andy who died from an infection tied to his drug abuse. All had great falsetto.
Wow, I never thought about their lyrics like that, but it's so true... when I watch these young women react to them on RUclips they all look like Barry is singing straight to them and are swooning for that love they are singing about. I respected them a ton, now I respect them even more!
Fabian: If you are a church, then I'm in the front row of the congregation. You have extraordinary wisdom regarding what people want versus what they need. We are starved for heaven. We are hungry for love. That's what a human being is.
I grew up listening to the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the best falsetto voice ever, & what makes it so incredible, is that in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is very rare! Thank you so much for this, they were brothers, & Barry is the last one, but please review more of their music, you will not be disappointed, & they span over years, & crossed many genres 😍 I also believe, that if there is music in Heaven, it would sound like the Bee Gee's ❤️❤️❤️ What my Mom used to say, is this type of music talked to women, & the newer music talked at them........I miss the days when love is what music was about!!!
These are all Brothers, Robin, Barry, Mo. They did a lot of disco in the 70's, but have been making music all their lives, music from in the 60 through the 2000's. Barry is a prolific song writer and has written songs for others. If you like disco check out: Staying alive, tragedy, you should be dancing, etc. Barry is the only one living now. He is working in country music.
The Brothers Gibb ...... Professionally known as 'The Bee Gees.' Wrote all of their own songs. They did not have individual careers. Robin left for 2 years ... BUT they needed each other for success! Brotherly love! NO RETAKES --- Their own mini-orchestra --- When finished...that's a wrap! Make copies...send to stores around the world! (1) Maurice (short hair - right - pronounced Morris) While on his way to surgery for his intestines, he had a heart attack, yet the doctors operated anyway. (I heard Barry say this on a video.) He was in the hospital for only 2 days! Maurice passed in 2003, at the age of 53. I feel he should had been the lead on at least one song on every album. He's my favorite. (2) Robin, ( long hair - left) passed in 2012, at the age of 62 from cancer. He and Maurice were fraternal twins. Robin and Maurice, to me, were the comedians, but when needed, they were serious about their career/business, as was Barry. Robin's voice is awesome! (3) Andy, the youngest brother, (not pictured) had his own successful career. He passed in 1988, at the age of 30, from inflammation of the muscles around his heart. He and Barry could had passed as twins, even though he was 12 yrs younger than Barry. The 3 brothers were also married and had children. (4) Barry (in the middle) said, "I am the last man standing." Barry is the eldest of the brothers. On September 1, 2021, he and his wife, Linda will celebrate their 51st wedding anniversary, which is also Barry's 75th birthday. They have 5 adult children, and 7 grandchildren (some reports say 8) The Bee Gees have sold over 220 million records worldwide (probably more by now.) They were also writers for other musical artists. On a side note, their sister, Lesley is the first born. She was 76, January, 2021. She lives a quiet life with her family. I guess she is known as the 'Queen' over her brothers. 😁
It's like they invented harmony. Live band, no auto tune, no computerized voice enhancement and one mic for all three of them. Back then (1979). singing was just pure, raw talent. By the date of this recording, the BeeGees had already been singing together professionally for 21 years when Barry was 12 years old and the twins were just 9. All of the Gibb brothers including little brother, Andy, could sing in that amazing falsetto voice. But Barry was the master. He was able to exorcise more control over it. The Gibbs were, in my opinion, the most multi-talented families in music history. They wrote their own songs as well as writing songs for many other musical greats. This song was included on a compilation album to benefit UNICEF. There were many artists who recorded songs on the album, but the BeeGees gave all the royalties from this song in any form. In, at that time, an unprecedented move, they also gave UNICEF the publishing rights to Too Much Heaven. To date, Too Much Heaven has raised over 11 million dollars for UNICEF. In 1967, they wrote a song called To Love Somebody which appeared on their third album titled BeeGees 1st, but their first internationally, as the first two albums were only released in Australia. BeeGees 1st was released in July '67. Otis Redding was set to record To Love Somebody on his next album. Sadly, Otis was killed in a plane crash, Dec 10,1967. I thought for the longest time that they didn't record it themselves until after the death of Otis Redding. Their brother Andy Gibb had a very successful solo career as well until his death on March 10,1988. Just 5 days after turning 30. Andy had developed myocarditis, inflammation of the heart, which was brought on by a viral infection While most people recover from myocarditis, Andy's body was unable to fight the infection due to his history of drug use. Soo sad!
This group is 3 brothers and they’ve been together since they were kids!! The two on the outside are twins, Robin in white shirt and Maurice (pronounced Morris) in the green shirt. Barry is in the middle and is 3 years older than the twins. The twins have now both passed and Barry is the only one left. 😢 These boys used to sing in their bedroom as youngsters and their mother thought they accidentally left the radio playing but it was them singing! They were born with a true gift! RIP Robin and Maurice, we love and miss you both!!🫶
The incredible Bee was so generous that they donated all the royalties of this beautiful song to the Unicel to help the children of the world.... amazing humble band 😊😊❤
The group the Bee Gees were brothers. All 3 brothers have falsetto range which made them that more talented. The Bee Gees have been recording as a group since the early 60's. The group became even more popular in the 70's. Their music could easily stand up today in rotation on any R&B or Soft Rock Radio station. Sadly Barry Gibb the lead singer is the only brother still alive. The youngest brother Andy Gibb not in the group, but a great solo artist in his own right passed away first. Maurice Gibb passed away then Robin Gibb passed away leaving only Barry.
The Bee Gees were brothers Robin, Barry and Maurice Gibb. The group name is derived from The Brothers Gibb aka Bee Gees original from England but grew up in Australia
The lads on each end are Robin n Maurice..ferternal twins, Barry in the middle has the fersetto voice..so does Robin..tons of hit records..british lads...
The 3 are brothers who started singing in perfect harmony when they were 9 and 6 years old. This song was from the late 70s when they were using their falsetto voices.
i loved the Bee Gees and they acutually sang their songs without auto tune , we didn't have that back in the 70's , it was just talent . i loved Andy Gibb as well , he died way to young , 30 years old , i think Shadow Dancing was my favorite .
Quincy jones said " Fanny be Tender with my Love " was one of the greatest r/b songs ever written. And Quincy Jones one of the greatest music producers of all time .
THE talent existed then, and its missing now, which is why they must"SHOW out", in other ways ,just to sell themselves! NOTICE the live orchestra, live vocals, no props, or half nude background dancers, or fans to blow their hair around! NOT NEEDED!! THE men used to sing about love and the true essence of a woman, not her BODY PARTS! SO peaceful and pure, enjoyable! THANKYOU!
They are brothers , Barrry in the middle , Maurice on the right and Robin on the left . Voices like angels ♥️ they did the Saturday night fever soundtrack 👍🏻👍🏻
The GREATEST all brother singer songwriter group on this planet!!!!! There will never be another group like them ever 🙏🎶🎵🎶❤️❤️❤️ RIP Andy, Maurice, and my love, Robin ♥️♥️♥️🎶🎵🎶🎵🥀💐
original are 3 Brothers playing from teenagers. Barry oldest is still alive living in Florida with wife 30+ years. Just started singing again with daughter of a brother. Another younger brother sings alone, name? They were very successful in Disco years
There is Rock and Roll, Rap, Country, Folk, POP, R&B, Classical, Opera, Jazz. Blues, Blue Grass, Instrumental, Disco, Hip Hop Genre's and then there is The Bee Gees Genre....
I'm in my 70's and it would be so wonderful if the young people of today could experience LOVE , not hook-ups, or one night stands, or this will do until something better comes along. I miss those days when 2 people could dedicate their lives to making each other happy.
The Bee Gees, Brothers Gibb, spanned 6 decades. They started in 1958 as a child group in Brisbane Australia although they were originally from England. The Bee Gees were prolific songwriters. They wrote more then 500 songs, recording about 300 of their own. They wrote not only for themselves but for many famous artists. The Bee Gee's were one of the most commercially successful groups of all time. They charted number one hits both consecutively and at the same time. Barry's falsetto was the best. Their hair was the best. They wrote song that spoke to women, not at them. They are a group for the ages. All the proceeds of the song Too Much Heaven was given to UNICEF charity. It totally the equivalent of 10 million dollars by todays value. Barry and twin brothers Robin and Maurice had perfect harmonies. Andy was the youngest brother who had a solo career until his early death at the age of 30. Both Robin and Maurice have passed on leaving the oldest brother Barry the only surviving Bee Gee. The Bee Gee's contribution to the music industry is still echoed today. Try listening to; Stayin Alive 1979, You Should be Dancing 1976, Jive Talkin 1977, Tragedy1978, How deep is your love 1977, More then a Woman1977
They have written over 1000 songs some for them and some for other popular artists of their time! Like Michael Jackson, Dionne Warwick, Barbra Streisand, Celine Dionne, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Pardon, Dianna Ross etc
They had a lot of styles throughout the decades. The Bee Gees of the 60’s was not the same Bee Gees as the 70’s, as the 80’s as the 90’s..etc. Every decade brought a new style. Without doubt the most soulful era was the 70’s: Too much Heavan More than a Woman You should be Dancing Staying alive Night fever Jive talking Tragedy How deep is your love
True fact. Every four minutes somewhere in the world a song that the Bee Gees wrote, or a song that the Bee Gees sing is playing somewhere in the world.
Too Much Heaven would had been my wedding song, whether hubby wanted it or not. We were married 1977; the song was released a year later. REACTION TO: Staying Alive --- How Deep Is Your Love ----- Emotion (a song written by Robin and Barry for Samantha Sang...brothers as background singers) .... You Win Again! *love this one* (Barry has a different voice range!) and sooooo many other good songs. They were good friends with Michael Jackson. MJ was the Godfather to one of Barry's kids. Barry once stated that he liked the falsetto voices of Russell Thompkins (Stylistics) and William Hart (the Delfonics) R & B groups from Philly.
Bee Gees = Brothers Gibb. Funky stuff...Jive Talkin, Nights on Broadway, Night Fever, Stayin Alive, Fanny be tender with my love, How deep is your love, the list is endless!
They are brothers. The middle guy is Barry. The ones on either end are twins Maurice, pronounced (Morris) and Robin. They have been singing together since the twins were 5. They owned the disco era! I would suggest YOU SHOULD BE DANCING.
@@jackasswhiskyandpintobeans9344 not true, luv!😍 They went on to produce and write. Robin did some specialty projects and Barry wrote most of the music for Barbara Streisand's hit album Guilty. Barry has been a prolific writer through the eighties and nineties.
This was the recording studio when this was recorded in 1979. It's nice that they video taped the recording of a number 1 hit. The profits from this song were donated to kids in Africa.
These are three brothers they had a fourth younger brother also who was an artist on his own as well . Three are gone on to their maker now . The one in the middle is still living and singing on his own now . But is getting older . He still has a great voice now too though . .
There are so many songs to be used you could do if you like the Disco era, and they did so many before that that were unbelievable. Nights I'm Broadway, jive talking, how do you make a broken heart, words, you can go on and on Bee gees are one of the best bands ever. Is it a lot of songs also for other artists. They were incredible songwriters.
I would definitely check out Tragedy, For whom the bell tolls, you win again, staying alive and alone. There are so many bee gees hits, for them and they also wrote hits for some of the worlds greatest artists including Diana Ross, Celine Dion and Barbara Streisand. They are insanely talented.
I believe they hold many awards for records sold, and number of #1s, including chart-topping lyrics from Barry, as well as producing/writing for Andy, Thanks.
Here are some facts about the Bee Gee's: 1.Barry Gibbs is 2 years older than I am. I grew up in this Era called DISCO. 2.Barry was the lead singer and his brother's were mostly backup, but all 3 were GREAT. 3.This was Family Harmony at its best. (Three voices sounds like one). 4.They were a normal band until they tried something different. 5.It was an accident, they decided to sing "FALSETTO" for fun. 6.The people loved it, and DEMANDED more. 7 This became their unique, signature sound, and trademark that shot them to the top. 8. Barry was the lead singer, Robin and Maurice HARMONIZED ALSO IN FALSETTO. 9.Their unique sound that made them famous. 10 If you listen close you can hear the Falsetto of all 3. 11. It became their standard. The Disco Era was dying at this point. 12. The Bee Gee's Music, breathed new life into the Disco Era. 13, That kept DISCO alive and popular for many more years. 14. The Bee Gee's wrote 1030 songs in their life. 15.They wrote many songs, for other famous artist, who made those songs famous. 16.They broke many long standing records, in their lifetime. 17. They wrote all of their own music. 18. And all 3 played instruments themselves. 19. They would be honored that a new generation is hearing their music. 20. Feel free to check out my facts for yourself.
During the 1960s, the BeeGees had their musical focus on Folk Rock and Pop Rock. Their biggest hits during this time period were, "To Love Somebody", "I Started A Joke", and "Massachusetts". In 1963, they performed a cover of the Bob Dylan song, "Blowing In The Wind" on Australian Television. That performance is available for viewing here on RUclips.
"Too Much Heaven" is a song by the Bee Gees, which was the band's contribution to the "Music for UNICEF" fund. They performed it at the Music for UNICEF Concert on 9 January 1979. The song later found its way to the group's thirteenth original album, Spirits Having Flown. It hit No. 1 in both the United States and Canada. In the United States, the song was the first single out of three from the album to interrupt a song's stay at #1. "Too Much Heaven" knocked "Le Freak" off the top spot for two weeks before "Le Freak" returned to #1 again.[1] "Too Much Heaven" also rose to the top three in the United Kingdom. In the US, it would become the fourth of six consecutive No. 1s, equalling the record set by Bing Crosby, Elvis Presley, and the Beatles for the most consecutive No. 1 songs.
These three brothers started singing together when they were really young and over their successful career as the Bee Gees they recorded solo hits as well as mega hits for the group. They were together for a few decades. Maurice died first and then Rob. Barry is still going strong, God bless him, and has just put out a new album titled "Greenfields"...awesome! I love these guys.
Their last name is Gibb. Barry is the lead high singer, and famous for it. Maurice, on the right, was the oldest. Robin is the one on the left. They had a younger brother, Andy Gibb,, who was the youngest, and had some songs out already. He wanted to join his brother's in the Bee Gee's, but Andy died young at only 30, from heart failure due to drug overuse. They are still listed as the most successful singing/writing group of the 20th Century.
The lead singer in this one is Barry Gibb, the oldest of the brothers. Three years younger are the fraternal twins Robin and Maurice ( with less hair ). They have a younger brother Andy, as well, but he's the one who had his own single career, though he joined them for a spectacular "You Should be Dancing, " live, with John Travolta dancing. Get the 1976 version for a real POW.
i grew up in the 70s, all the music...pop, rock, soul...was outstanding. i feel like an old man complaining that todays music sucks, but i'm constantly hearing it from younger people. i think you would also like by them Stayin' Alive, How Deep Is Your Love.
One Time Only Concert 1997 is everything Brothers Gibb Listen to that and you will truly understand and appreciate the breadth of their over their 40 yrs RIP Robin & Maurice
They and especcially Barry, were very close to Michael Jackson and he said, without their influence, Thriller wouldn't exist. He often stayed at Barry's home, whenever he visited Miami. Also was the goodfather of Barry's son Michael. If you want to, check out Barry's song "All In Your Name", 2002 sang by him and Michael, not released because of problems with Michaels management, not himself. They tried to catch the rights of Barry's song. He said: I don't need your money, but I need all my songs! In 2012 he gave it free to the community, as you can see in many RUclips platforms.
"How deep is Your love" is another song they did that made my High School days memorable. The girls loved the sounds playing out of my tape deck. "Jive Talking" was my all time favorite.
In today's world where people just hate instead of trying to actually HEAR one another, we all need love and heaven. Why is it so hard to love someone even if we don't always agree? That is the key...to feel what others are feeling, and realize love should be placed above all else!! I try very hard to pray for everyone on this earth...peace is what we need...love to you, dear brother...💙😇🙏
Good reaction! The Bee Gees were actually Michael Jacksons idols and he wanted to make similar music (not to this song, but ro their disco stuff). MJ and The Gibb brothers were also the best of friends. You must have heard the Night Fever hits with Stayin Alive, Night Fever, More Than a Woman etc. It is the most sold soundtrack in history and the most famous disco music. Barry Gibb who sings lead on this song will release a new album in January. I request "Nights on Broadway" for your next Bee Gees reaction. 🙂

The Bee Gees are all brothers! REAL brothers! Barry, in the middle, is the only one still alive now.
No auto tone, just one microphone. Hands on hips, and casually in pockets. No gimmicks, just pure raw talent.
I’m 72 and still get chills when this song is played.
Thank you so much for such lovely memories😌!

You are so on point with how the music are today. One once said: The Bee Gees do not write and sing ABOUT women but TO women. Such a true statement.
I never thought about that till I read your post! So true!!
Wow, I never thought about their lyrics like that, but it's so true... when I watch these young women react to them on RUclips they all look like Barry is singing straight to them and are swooning for that love they are singing about. I respected them a ton, now I respect them even more!
Wow!! Respect to your comparison of the two eras..so true!!
Barry said in an interview that he writes lyrics that say things you are too shy speak to your lover
Michael Jackson CRIED when he first heard them. He became close friends too!!!!
First live take recording without Autotune! That was the real music!
They are brothers.
They are the real deal..so smooth
Bee Gees are all brothers
Phenomenal talent. No auto tune. Natural. And easy on the eyes too.
Fabian: If you are a church, then I'm in the front row of the congregation. You have extraordinary wisdom regarding what people want versus what they need. We are starved for heaven. We are hungry for love. That's what a human being is.
70's were the last of the days of innocence
These are the best. This is not like music today. I grew up with this music. There is so much to listen to.
They all brothers!

It is live !!

Smooth as silk! Thanks for your reaction.
This song is from the 1970's. My era. It's so cool that your era appreciates this music.

You need to react to " love so right ". Bee Gees are The greatest group of all time!

The Bee Gees are as soulful as they are funky, and as funky as they are soulful.
Best falsetto harmony I've ever heard
They wrote and produce their music
Quincy jones said " Fanny be Tender with my Love " was one of the greatest r/b songs ever written. And Quincy Jones one of the greatest music producers of all time .

Bro they killed that. No auto tune?! Haha! Real music!
There is Rock and Roll, Rap, Country, Folk, POP, R&B, Classical, Opera, Jazz. Blues, Blue Grass, Instrumental, Disco, Hip Hop Genre's and then there is The Bee Gees Genre....
This was a live performance for charity.
No the Bee Gees are brothers and they stayed together till they passed. It was a loss for the music world.
I'm in my 70's and it would be so wonderful if the young people of today could experience LOVE , not hook-ups, or one night stands, or this will do until something better comes along. I miss those days when 2 people could dedicate their lives to making each other happy.

Without doubt the most soulful era was the 70’s:
Too much Heavan
More than a Woman
You should be Dancing
Staying alive
Night fever
Jive talking
Tragedy
How deep is your love
Dark Matter um... and add "Love you inside Out", but hey, it's easy to leave some out when you're talking about the greatest group EVER!!

Right. And I also forgot Fanny Be Tender. Quincy Jones said it was the most perfect R&B song he’d ever heard.
@@darkmatter6714 Without a doubt, one of my all-time
fans of theirs.
Too Much Heaven is one of my favorite Bee Gees song 👍💖🙂
The man bro
Thanks
And the Bee Gees crashed when the dark side of disco culminated in the Disco Demolition at Comiskey.
You could be my soul mate i not even kidding love the bee gees love ❤ 💕 💖
These are three brothers they had a fourth younger brother also who was an artist on his own as well . Three are gone on to their maker now . The one in the middle is still living and singing on his own now . But is getting older . He still has a great voice now too though . .
Me too I love 70s music.!!!
❤️🙏🏻🇺🇸 Life and the world were a better place for everybody back then ! ✌🏻❤️🤠
I LIKE WATCHING PEOPLE REACTING TO REALITY AND COOLNESS I GREW UP WITH.
The Bee Gees were the greatest ever!! Their music touches your heart and soul!! You done went down the rabbit hole! Watch More than a woman!!
The Bee Gees were huge in the disco era, Fanny Be Tender is another great one. If you like the Bee Gees, you should also check out Ambrosia!
Bee Gees are awesome! They have some awesome tunes from the 60s on into the early 2000s. Excellent song writers, and unmatched harmonies.
I believe they hold many awards for records sold, and number of #1s, including chart-topping lyrics from Barry, as well as producing/writing for Andy, Thanks.

Sheer talent - these guys were gifted. God put three brothers together and said you will sing perfectly.
1 songs.
Watch BeeGees one night only, on Utube.
They are brothers. ❤ Love they.
A youtube interview w/m,jackson he said he cried the first time he heard the bee gees!
Amen brother!
"How deep is Your love" is another song they did that made my High School days memorable. The girls loved the sounds playing out of my tape deck. "Jive Talking" was my all time favorite.
Very good!! React For whom the bell tolls live Bee Gees...
For sure ..the outdoors acoustics..brought it to another level!!!
Such beautiful easy listening music that I can listen to over and over again. Wonderful melody, harmony, lyrics and loving.
The BeeGees great song is How Deep Is Your Love. Listen to that one, I love it so will you. Enjoy!
These guys are 🔥🔥🔥. 💞💞💞
Good man love always wins respect from england😊
Lots of great Bee Gee tunes -- "Staying Alive" works!
