we opened for these guys a couple times at a bar called ricks in denton tx back in the 90's always was a privilege to do so they used to do a great version of the jeffersons theme song in their set
Roger B. has an amazing voice. He's the first white guy I've heard with the vocal power to sing James Brown without a hint of irony or apology, and pull it off 100%. Yeah, there are other great white soul singers, Van Morrison for example - but Van does his own music, and even invented his own musical sub-genre to make it all work. Roger doesn't have to.

or if you just need a one song primer on Lettuce, look up: Do It Like You Do (Live 10/20/15 Omaha, NE) on youtube. That concert was amazing. That one hits all their strongsuits. :)
DUDE!!!! I am from Natchez, MS and Mingo fishtrap is one of my top favorite bands! I first saw you guys play in Austin back in 2000. I would give my left testicle to see you guys perform again. Living in downtown Houston now.
So happy to see Dane with MKB now, I hope he stays with them for the long haul, he crushes and is a perfect fit for Marcus and crew. Miss Mingo though hope Roger is still making music, thanks for the video!
I've had to buy your CD's at least twice before MP3's, because of wear. I have behind the scenes confirmation. Now just save CD cases when I'm lucky enough to get autographs.
Some of the best sounding music I've heard in a long time, thanks to the guys - especially Roger (reminds me of Lowell George)! EDIT: I know this will never be seen, but the keyboard player is awesome too, and also plays bass?! The horn section is excellent too!!
