- These are just the things that have helped me learn and gain more car control. I hope these work for you too!
1. Partial throttle is your friend.
2. When in doubt, let it out.
3. Don't just floor it and turn left on exit.

What I notice is that most people in the street stock do not use the brake, on both asphalt and dirt. They're abusing the right front and then trying to find the grip mid corner and either parking or spinning on the exit. A little drag helps get the car rotated in and gets the right rear a little more involved which seems to be faster over the race distance, it definitely has made me more consistent. On dirt it responds well to a full application and barely needs any wheel to get into a tight slide and it's much easier to find the balance when feeding the power back in. Learning how to steer with your feet makes navigating traffic much more intuitive rather than trying to whip the wheel and probably lose more time than was necessary
I'm struggling with the Arca car because it's so loose. Your tips will come in handy. Thanks for the video!
Keep practicing! Focus on being smooth with your inputs (especially when getting back on throttle) and the car will not snap loose on you as much. Also, on bigger tracks try running slightly higher lines, it requires you to turn the wheel less so the car can feel a bit tighter then beware of burning up the RF. Always hit me with questions if something comes up!
Also check out the ARCA tips video for this week if you haven't already. I hope it helps! ruclips.net/video/6lseT0PBVWg/видео.html
Remember even if it's an oval the sides are different! You can't apply the same inputs in the first bank that you do the second bank.
@@SimRacing.Junkie ty for helping us new racers
Hey man thanks for the video! New to iracing (just hit 1 month) and this helps a lot. Got yourself a new subscriber. Hope to see you on the track some day
Everything you said, but only after the most important thing: a tire model which feels and behaves like actual rubber instead of plastic junk.
