    This is a tricky arguement. A job centre is wholly public owned. A migrant hotel maybe under contract but still a private business, or t could be leased to the government, then it could be treated legally same as public property.

    • @thoughtfulalbatros9683
      @thoughtfulalbatros9683 8 месяцев назад

      Some job centres exist in rented properties - the government sell off the bulk of publicly owned properties for quick money and let the next government/generation worry about paying the private rents
      So I reckon the argument could be made it’s public property
      But equally - and more likely - the argument would go the other way and the job centres in private buildings could kick people out “coz private”

    I enjoy your videos, however would like to clarify a statement you made "The government pays? which therefore gives me access rights?" using this way of thinking means you can access Nuclear submarines, RAF stations, Aircraft carriers etc which is clearly not the case. The government is paying for a contract carried out by a private contractor on the private contractors freehold site-The freehold owner can deny you access at any time of their choosing. Regarding asylum seekers, yes I agree many are financial migrants but many are seeking a safer place to live. As a democracy we have a duty to assist people who are fleeing persecution and offer a safe haven for them, this democracy comes with its own issues and means we do not always get it correct and some natives may become disillusioned with the government policy-if everybody exercised their democratic right to vote then we may elect a government of choice and not by default. The 'owner' is a National hotel chain called Britania Hotels. They have contracted hundreds of their hotels out to the government sacked their staff and get paid huge amounts a week at the end of the contract we the taxpayers will pay to refurbish the entire hotel as part of the contract, so the huge cost to the taxpayers won't end when these hotels get emptied.

    I don't think anyone realises. The money that is paying for all the migrants to be housed in hotels is actually part of the foreign aid pot that goes abroad. And isn't money that the UK would be able to freely use . So even though it's tax payers money. It's not money that can be spent on homeless people in the first place.

    • @crazyedits50
      @crazyedits50 8 месяцев назад

      @@raysummers2075 By law they have to pay into the foreign aid fund. So the allocated funds have to go abroad and cannot be used to the gain of the UK economy. Thank god it's being used to house the migrants. I would hate to think that money that could be spent on our roads and other public services is used to house them !!

I will get the correct speling and correct if wrong. It splits the audio and you can choose which splits to keep. Perfect if you have some realy good footage and want diffent noises taken out.
